I took a couple of friends who had never had Persian Cuisine here last night, and they loved it. The food was great, service was good, and the ambience was relaxed and quiet. I have had Persian food all over California, and I have to say, I was very pleased with my experience here.

Ordered a caprese to try them out for the first time. They gave me the butt of a tomato which to me is just pretty subpar for a 4 star joint. Things like this upset me because My father has a chef and I grew up cooking and I never get really picky and this is just bad attention to detail. Tomatoes guys. it’s a tomato. Cmon guys you can do better than this. My wife’s food was good so that’s why the 3 stars.

I’ve only had delivery and take-out. It’s completely delicious, basically. The kiboodeh(sp?) combo is my go-to. The meat is always juicy and flavorful! Tonight I tried the Soltani(one kiboodeh, one barg) and the barg is great too. The rice is yummy, the pita bread is usually tasty, and I have no complaints. The only Italian items I’ve had are pizza(yum yum yum great cheese and crust) and cheesecake. The cheesecake is tasty buuuuut my last piece had something strange in it– either a fingernail or a piece of plastic shaped like a small fingernail. It wasn’t a deal-breaker and I didn’t make a big deal out of it(it was delivery after all), but it was yucky and maybe discouraged me from getting that item again. Not sure if they even make it in-house so who knows? Anyway, in general I’m a big fan of Jino and Pars!

Fesenjan with crispy rice(tadig) was an amazing appetizer to share. The stew was sweet, sour with a burst of walnut flavor. Crispy rice was on point. Jaw got sore from eating it so fast since it was so good. Koobideh combo — I prefer the beef over chicken. They are large portion skewers. Added an extra beef skewer for $ 4 more. Salad shirazi comes with combo. Enough food for 2 people to share. Also, ask for pita bread. It was delicious to dip in the stew. Nom Nom! Price is a bit more expensive than other Persian places, but worth it. Otherwise, I might have given it 5 stars.

Love the food! Love the place! Love the fact that we could try Italian and Persian food at the same restaurant! The only thing that dissapointing was the food came out quite slow even though there were not many customer yet.

I’m not sure how this place got 4⁄5 stars. Maybe it’s not for their Persian food, which was disgusting. To start off, the dough was rotten! The yogurt was completely rotten. Their«ghemei» stew was like canned tomatoes, no substance… Just tomatoes. Also, their lubia polo was filled with water as if it was old and had to be warmed up. I have never had Persian food like this before and I would know what it should taste like. Do not come here for Persian cuisine.

This place has the best chicken kabob plates ever! The portions are HUGE so it’s nice to have yummy leftovers or a midnight snack ;) The chicken is always tender and has great flavor, the basmati rice is amazing, and their pomegranate seasoning to put on the rice is so weirdly delicious. My second favorite dish here would be their filet mignon kabobs. The meat is so tender & flavorful. There’s such a wide variety on the menu, so you can’t really go wrong with this place.

Came for Christmas dinner! We had made reservations and it was such a smooth process. The dinner was very good!!! Had the lamb shank which was so tender that it easily fell off the bone as it should. The rice that came with it had lentils, and raisins in it. Super yummy. The pita bread and the baba ghanoush was so good. The pizza was okay. The bolognese pasta was okay. Wish they had used some other kind of pasta instead of angel hair. Service was great! Pretty place too. Parking was a breeze.

Second time going to Pars and am set on becoming a regular. The portions are huge so with any of the large plates, you’ll have a meal to take home. I tried the Lamb Soltani this time, only problem is I ate my leftovers later the same night. I’m not sure that the meats could be seasoned and grilled any better, it’s kind of ridiculous how good the lamb koobideh is. We ordered an extra hummus to go and the waiter forgot to add extra pita, but I’m not even mad.

We went here for dinner before a show at Westchester Playhouse the other evening. We ordered Persian fare, and were not disappointed. Not only was our food extremely flavorful, but the portions were substantial enough for leftovers(we had the next day). Our server(I forget his name) was very attentive, as well as conscientious about our dining comfort. Overall, a very enjoyable meal. I highly recommend ending a meal with their rosewater-pistachio ice cream.

Very good restaurant in a very unlikely place. Food is very good. Quality and presentation is what it’s supposed to be. Better than most Persian restaurants in Westwood to be honest. I come here to bring people I do business with before I take them back to the airport. The atmosphere inside is very nice and appropriate for that sort of thing. So if you are looking for a restaurant to take people that is presentable by LAX, this is a good option. The service is not the greatest. The waiters are not professional, but they get the job done. The parking is also a nightmare, but if you go later at night when the other businesses are closed, it should not be a problem. Food is 5⁄5 and you can’t go wrong with any kabob. It’s just a matter of what you are craving. I did not have any Italian so I can not speak for that.

Gino’s Pars should stick to Persian/Iranian food. I’m a sucker for pizza so I ordered the Supremo pizza and lets just say … I could have gone to the super market and gotten that pizza from the frozen section and heated it up in my oven. The quality of the dough and the ingredients were horrible, I felt cheated. Stay away from the Italian menu! Due to my dismay I ordered an additional dish, the steak kobob plate and thankfully that was delicious! The quality of the meat was great, the rice was perfectly cooked and the babaganoush was superb!

Very very good food! I had the«combination» plate. It was like steak and chicken kebab with a very good rice and also a lentil soup! Delicious! I high recommend this place! Hope to come back here with my wife next time!

The restaurant is clean. Super clean which is very important to me. The staff is very friendly and smiling. The atmosphere is really nice and relaxing. You can sense the Persian vibe in the place As for food: the presentation is fantastic. I had the chicken koobideh with baghali polo rice. What an amazing meal. The koobideh just melts in your mouth. The meal is lovely and fulfilling. This is a restaurant that you have to try!

The four stars is for the food. If this was for service, I’d give them negative 4 stars. I called in an order and came to pick it up at the time I was told my order would be ready. Upon arrival, I tell the waiter that I was here for pickup and the name of that thr order was under. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I ask the waiter about the status of my order and he replies, «oh, I’m serving the dining room and im not in charge of take out orders.» Seriously? To the owner of this restaurant, please train this waiter on how to provide good customer service. Food is great, service is terrible.

When returning our rental car to LAX, we found this little gem on Unilocal. At first, I thought it was an Italian restaurant and we thought the Persian restaurant was adjacent. However, we walked in and realized it was actually both cuisines in one restaurant with two different menus. It’s a little confusing, but I’m still glad I gave it a chance. The first time we came to the restaurant was for the Persian food. So, we ordered the beef koobideh and the spicy chicken with the dill rice. The spicy chicken was overwhelmingly spicy; it was almost inedible(and I am used to eating spicy food). However, the beef koobideh was absolutely delicious. The dill rice was okay but didn’t have any distinctive flavor. The dish also came with a cucumber salad, which was delicious as well and added a cool component to the entrée. We also had a hummus appetizer and it was good, yet not very memorable. The second time we came to Pars my husband and I ordered the beef koobideh with the regular saffron rice and the salad. It was absolutely delicious as the first time! Truly, I am in love with Pars’ beef koobideh. We also wanted the cucumber yogurt, but you have to order it as an appetizer. Both times they were very consistent with the quality of the food, which I really appreciate. Everything was fresh, tasty, and perfectly cooked. While the food is delicious, the service is not the best. The first time we visited we asked our waiter for extra bread for the hummus and he kindly brought it to our table. After he dropped it off, we heard the manager complain to him for bringing us extra bread without charge(lol). Then, they seem to be really understaffed so we had a hard time getting to our waiter after they brought the food, even to pay. I didn’t want to come back due to the service, but my husband really loved the food. As well, finding parking is another story. It’s such a pain, which is one of the reasons why I probably don’t come here more often for more of that delicious food.

We ordered the lamb and chicken kabobs, shirazi salad, side salads, fried eggplant, and baklava. The order came with complimentary pita bread and each kabob came with complimentary lentil soup. The entire order took about an hour to make. Lamb kabob — very tender and juicy, tasted good Chicken kabob — somewhat dry, not as good as the lamb Salads — all decent Fried eggplant — surprisingly good considering I don’t normally like eggplant Bamieh — they gave us bamieh instead of baklava for some reason; it was drenched in syrup and too sweet for my liking The manager greeted us when we went to pick up our food. He was very charismatic and had a good sense of humor.

Can someone please explain to me the philosophy between having half the menu Italian, and the other half Persian? Is it for all those married couples where the wife only eats ghormeh sabzi while the husband only eats ravioli? Or is it for people who can’t make up their mind about what type of food they want, and need to have two distinct options in a single restaurant? Whatever…I chose Persian, and ordered the combo chicken & beef koobideh with Zereskh polo. It was pretty good, but not quite up to the level of the restaurants in Westwood. The atmosphere is much more refined, which for most should be a good thing. Me, I like my Persian food served with a more casual ambiance which includes the audio from the music videos on the overhead television screens filling the room.

Super moment, un restaurant très agréable, un accueil attentif et soigné. On y mange très bien et pour pas trop chers. Né pas hésiter à franchir la porte pour passer un bon moment…
