The Best! Has assisted with family photos, including New Year’s and Bar and Bat Mitzvah images, for the past 7 years. Incredible eye! Turns out beautiful photos. (Even made me look good… a tall order.) Not inexpensive, but worth the quality. She gives her customers all that she has when she works on those big projects, like bar/​bat mitzvahs. And Justine surrounds herself with talented assistants, including those that help with hair and make-​up.

Justine was the first wedding vendor I decided upon. She did our engagement photos well before we started the planning process and I knew that I had to have her photograph our wedding. She is truly an artist, she knows how to get the best shots and she really puts you at ease. She packages the prints you order from her so beautifully and the print quality is amazing. I ordered some additional prints off of Shutterfly to give to my relatives and I couldn’t believe how crappy the Shutterfly ones were in comparison. Also, the album she designed came out so so so beautifully! Everyone looks great in her photos and she is great at taking shots outdoors as well as indoors. My wedding planner told me that some famous photographers in the Southern CA area are really adept at taking outdoor photos in natural lighting and these photos are often featured on SMP, but the photos they take at night are less spectacular. Justine excels at both! The action shots at the reception were a highlight, she really captured the fun of the evening. I would definitely use her again if I could do the whole thing over. I am sure that we will have her take our Christmas pictures in the future! She is awesome!!!

We have been lucky enough to have Justine document our daughter’s growth since they were toddlers. They have very different personalities and yet Justine has a very special way of capturing and telling each of their stories, as well as the story of our family. Her work is throughout our home, large pieces of art that define who we are as a family, with a modern, classic flair. We have proudly sent everyone we know to her studio. We feel extremely blessed to have Justine in our lives. She is an artist, and a very gifted one at that!

if there were more stars to give we’d give them. we met justine when she first moved to LA and we had her do a family session. she managed to capture the absolute essence of our kids and our life, pictures from that session are still up all over our house. we have managed to get at least one mini session in every year since and have, as a result, a beautiful record of our kids through the years. justine has also done our christmas card every year and those cards still grace refrigerators and coffee tables around the world.
as it goes, many many of our friends have seen justine’s pictures and booked her for their own families. it is magical — she manages to find the true nature and beauty of everyone she shoots, and it is all done in an unobtrusive and thoroughly professional, respectful manner. we love justine. whether she’s shooting you, your family or an event you will treasure the results.
