Went to the Karen Zambos sample sale in her downtown showroom today and walked away with an adorable $ 25 dress, which retails for $ 400. I’ve seen a few of her sample sales promoted on
, but hadn’t yet made it to one. Glad I rallied because I love her designs and there was a stellar selection of low priced, adorable duds. $ 25, $ 35 and $ 45 clothing racks with lots of silk mini dresses, blouses, knit shorts, jersey pants, vests — cute stuff. Karen (the designer) was there and offered me recommendations on size. No dressing rooms and cash only. I snagged a metered space right next to the building, but there were also several $ 6 lots closeby.
