Ken is the best. That’s all there is to it. I drive all the way across town when I could use a local guy and I never regret it. Everything he repairs for me works and SOUNDS GREAT! And a little added bonus, good conversation.

Anyone who has anything negative to say about Ken Rich is either a competitor or completely clueless. I have taken several of my instruments to him and they always come back perfect. He’s the most knowledgeable keyboard tech I’ve ever met (by far) and NEVER cuts corners. He’s not «cheap» but don’t most rational people understand that you get what you pay for? His work is far from cheap. I’ve taken keyboards to Advanced Musical Electronics and others, waiting twice as long, paying the same (or more) and not been 100% happy with the results. Besides being a great guy and always taking the time to explain everything, every single time, he is in my opinion simply the best in the business.

Unlike the positive reviews here, the two negative reviews lack in any detail and feel bogus, at least to me. Arrogant? Get a life! Too expensive? Find a way, and negotiate! Other shops in LA? Really? Of the caliber of KRSS?
Musical advocates like Ken Rich are few and far between. If you are serious about making music and optimizing your keyboards and rigs to their full potential, then Ken Rich is a formidable ally. There are precious few folks who have his ears, enthusiasm, experience, knowledge and resources. It speaks well of any music-​maker to co-​create a working relationship with Ken and his team. I find his work to be impeccable, as do his loyal clients.
