Kenny was full of old world charm, like complaining about the«faggot parade» in nearby West Hollywood and claiming to learn how to cut African American hair by practicing on CARPETING. Oh, and he cut my hair too short.

This is the best haircut in LA. I have driven from Santa Monica for 11 years. Reasonable price and Gregory is very funny.

Go see Lee! I went in last week and got a great new do! No more gel, just shower and go… looking good, feeling good! Great conversation while Lee creates it.

My stylist, Lee, has a private booth at this salon. I’ve been going to her exclusively for years to get my haircuts. She is fantastic and an absolute pleasure to see each month. I’ve followed her around to several locations before she finally settled in at Kenny’s. Lee pays attention to details and gives a high quality haircut. I look great every single time. She has made some great recommendations regarding hair products that I use all the time. Honestly, I’m so happy with her work and personality that I’ve referred other people to see her!

This is not just a barber shop! Lee has a private space where I really felt comfortable getting my extensions done. She went over what was best for my hair, and what would help me get the look that I wanted. She even cleaned up my eyebrows to give me that finished look. I left looking and feeling fantastic! Lee is a true professional. Now that I have found her, I won’t let anyone else touch my hair!

This is where I get my hair cut. Kenny no longer cuts there, but the Russian fellow who does(Gregory?) does a good job. A man’s cut costs about $ 22 plus tip, and it’s pretty basic barber service. In back, his sister(or another relative) does skin work, and on Saturdays, there’s generally a pretty steady flow of family members, friends, and other Russian expats stopping by to say hi. A nice community feel, even if it’s not your community. The first time I got my hair cut there, it was perfect. This time, he left it a little long in back — so my head didn’t look so round — so we’ll see how it grows in. An old-school barbershop with Marc Ecko’s Complex magazine to read if you have to wait.
