Kevin Laurence – Pianist & Vocalist

I am in charge of events for the OC Blue Jeans office, and we’ve hired Kevin on 3 separate corporate occasions because we just can not get enough of this guy! If you are looking for a talented pianist with a great personality, look no further. Kevin is always on time and he has his own equipment. He plays from modern songs to classics — he does not disappoint. Last week we had our delayed holiday party, and he was a TOTAL hit! Its been a week since the party and employees are still asking for his contact info so they could have him for their birthdays etc. Blue Jeans is officially hooked on Kevin :) Can’t wait to have him back again — thanks again Kevin.

I hired Kevin for a company holiday event to perform for 600+ attendees. Everyone raved about not only his talent, but his personality as well. I hired him based solely on reviews that I had read. I was super stressed out because if he wasn’t anything short of professional, it would make me look bad. It turned out all the reviews were accurate so I wanted to add one of my own to confirm that you can’t go wrong with using Kevin for your professional entertainment needs. We’ll definitely be hiring him again for future events — business and personal.

Kevin was absolute perfection… professional and flexible, quite the talent. I would hire him again in an instant. He played and sang every song I could have wished for and everyone at my party thought he was great. He was a little more expensive than some of the others I interviewed, but I am glad I spent the extra money… totally worth it. Good work isn’t cheap and cheap work isn’t good. Amazing what a few more dollars gets you… Best party ever!

Kevin is a dream. I had to book him last minute for my first dance playing «all of me» by John legend. My singer had cancelled our original pianist at the last minute and Kevin stepped in and was able to accommodate exactly what we were looking for. Also he had given me a sample of his playing (& singing) of the song so we weren’t surprised when we did our dance live. It came out magical! Everyone was enthralled by his music. Also, our timeline was very off so he wasn’t able to sing at the given time I had booked him for. However, out of the goodness of his heart he stayed and sang a few songs that had the ladies in the room swooning. I regret not being able to have him sing more, but he is a top notch performer and I do not regret having him as my pianist. If any future events occur that I needed a pianist I would definitely book him again! Thank you so much Kevin!

Kevin played and sang at our wedding last weekend… He was AMAZING!!! Everyone was so impressed. Would recommend him to anyone who wants to have a high quality event. He brings his own sound system with quick set-​up and tear down. He is professional and warm with guests. I can’t wait for another event for him to provide entertainment.

Kevin is a wonderful musician and singer and is very personable! He was the entertainment at my birthday party. My guests and I danced and sang. Kevin is a joy, making my party memorable!

Saw this guy play at Seasons 52. He knew all of my requests and requests of others instantly. I’m talking classics! Even had the whole place singing together by closing time. Felt like a Billy Joel music video. Lots of fun. I’d hire this guy for private events!
He even played Piano Man WITH THE HARMONICA! Damn that was fun…

After seeing Kevin perform at a local piano bar, I recommended him for a friends party. Not only were my friends super happy with their decision to hire Kevin, but as an attendee of the event I can vouch for the fact that everyone was really enjoying his performance.
Kevin has a vast knowledge of songs — old and new — and we were surprised by some of the requests he got and was able to perform.
Having live music at an Event can really change the event from «nice» to «amazing,» and Kevin brings that special something extra. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a live musician for an event.

My parents hired Kevin to play at my sister’s law school graduation party on May 23, 2015. I was impressed how he came prepared with his own equipment and his almost encyclopedic knowledge of songs, both contemporary and older. By the end of the night, he had the entire party singing «Piano Man» and it was awesome.
He was very personable and professional, and felt like a guest at the party, not just a performer. I’d recommend Kevin if you want some live music in a relaxed atmosphere with someone you feel is an old friend you haven’t seen in a while.

I hired Kevin a few months back for my 30^th Birthday party. Originally, I was going to just play some music from my computer, but I totally changed my mind when I saw Kevin play at another gig. He sings and plays piano from all genres which is great in finding something for everyone.
Kevin worked with me to figure out a set list of songs he knew how to play and he even learned a few before the party. He brought his own piano and equipment so I just needed to find him an outlet and some space. During his performance, he engaged with all my friends by playing from both our set list and he even took requests.
