I think it’s a cool spot. Nice hanging out before or after the beach– and an impressive bar/lounge area! The food was good, but a small menu(came craving French toast:/ — that didn’t happen). What I didn’t like was the service when I first walked in. The woman behind the register was very bland and short(you can tell she didn’t want to be there) — not my problem. I work in customer service 5 days a week– I get it together and put on my happy face. Later, she warmed up and did a couple rounds at the table I was sitting at. Other than that, it was a nice spot, but I won’t be going back.

Nice place, very nice staff, amazing dulce de leche brownie, and a REALLY strong Red Eye. Prices are good too and they valet.

This place was quaint! We arrived with a couple of 2 year olds at 9:30 and sat in the outdoor covered patio. It was very slow, so we thankfully did not disturb the other patrons. The music was very loud, which also helped to drown out the kiddie chatter. The drip coffee was tasty and served in an adorable cup and saucer, I wish I had asked for it to go! I ate a breakfast sandwich and it was ok. I’m a picky eater and deleted a few key ingredients, but some finishing salt made it better. It was pricey, but for the safe kid environment, slow business day, and ease of having an adult conversation with a friend, I would come here often regardless of cost. Better than any other coffee house environment I’ve been too(Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Tanner’s, etc) with a young child. I would definitely stay away from the busier times with kids, and would like to have a date with my husband here to try out the dinner menu. Parking was easy for the time of day, but there is a valet stand for prime time. Parking could be an issue during peak times and weekends. Plus, the Del Rey Lagoon and beach are within walking distance, so this could be a great place to eat after a playdate or just before. Glad we found it!
