Wonderful pulled pork sandwich. So many cover the poor quality meat with sauce. Kitchen Faire lets the pork speak. Terrific warm bun, perfect vegetables. I also had the red potato salad which was awesome. I can’t wait to return.

Enjoyed a great lunch date with my dad here! Stumbled onto it when we were too early for an appointment in downtown. The staff was great and very helpful! They have a nice juice selection. They have a lot of options. You can either have your choice in a salad, sandwich or wrap! :) would definitely go again if in the area

I work literally a block away and this place has been a life saver so many times. A lot of this review is done in comparison with Cabbage Patch. I feel like people that go to one are probably looking for something quickish during lunch time… I personally think Kitchen Faire is better. One Star — The service has always been really great. Nice people and quick food. Two Stars — Prices — compared to Cabbage Patch this place is much more reasonably priced for what you get. Three Stars — A simple menu. When you are in the need to get in and out quickly for lunch this place guarantees some good simple eats. Not a complicated menu at all. Four Stars — I love the Spicy Ahi on a wrap or sandwich. Such a finnnnneeeee food. Minus One — This is nothing fancy… just a really place that does really solid lunch food at a good price with quick turnaround.

First time I bought lunch here was last Friday as I was craving for tuna wraps(first time I ate one was during my recent trip to NYC. Got it from CVS across the street from our hotel and my taste buds were blown away). So I Unilocaled and found this place which is only a 3 minute walk from my office. I got the spicy ahi in spinach wrap and again, my taste buds got blown away. I asked to make it less spicy(has wasabi). The whole thing was huge, and you can eat the ahi all the way from end to end(not like some other wraps where the meat is only a small portion and is somewhere hidden amidst a forest of vegetables). It’s got a lot of carrots and other vegetables and the sauce is amazing. I guess there’s a bit of vinegar in it too. I also got their cucumber juice which tastes pretty healthy as it is not mixed with any sweeteners at all. Prices are good too as I paid for the wrap and the drink for $ 10 or less, I think. Now that it’s the season of Lent I’ll be frequenting this place every Friday!

This place is better for delivery/take out. Very limited seating. That said, I love their food. I typically get a sandwich and one of their pre-made sides(like a caprese salad, or quinoa). My favorite sandwich is their pulled pork sandwich. It’s better than their Cuban Pork sandwich, which was disappointing. One time they had a spicy bean and sausage soup. It’s not an everyday item, but it’s so delicious. It had more of a kick than I thought, but I loved it. I wish I remembered the exact name(Sorry!). They also have fresh juices to go with your meals and I’d recommend trying one of their lemonades.

Quality fresh sandwiches. My favorite here is the Dynamite Ahi Wrap. Huge chunks of sashimi grade tuna mixed with a spicy siracha sauce stuffed into a wrap with avocado and spinach. Essentially a sushi sandwich! Combining my two favorite things! Their fresh juices are great as well. A big fan of the super red(carrot, lemon, beets, oj, and love hehehe). Not a big fan of the cucumber juice :(.

I’ve been to Kitchen Faire twice so far. It’s quite a walk from my office especially in heels but their ahi nicoise wrap is worth it. I always get it with the spinach tortilla and it’s super yummy. I love the black olive pesto and the seared ahi is also delicious and fresh. I’ve tried wraps from other«healthy» places and they were so boring and bland compared to Kitchen Faire’s. I wouldn’t recommend getting the ahi nicoise on salad though. My colleague ordered that and it was a sad looking salad loaded with romaine and nothing else.

I just wanted a coffee in the morning. There was a pretty long line, I waited a bit for my turn, ordered my medium coffee and then waited and waited and waited. They served all 10 people after me, and they decided to ask me again why am I standing there… Can you believe that? Because I was waiting for my coffee, which obviously, they had forgotten about! Then i had to wait some more, to get it done! I am pretty sure i won’t be coming back. The coffee was very good thou…

Gave this place two tries and do not plan to go back again. First time I got the thai chicken as a wrap. It was whatever – nothing special and honestly I could have made a better wrap myself at home for a fraction of the price. Second time, I ordered the smoker. Chicken, BBQ sauce, blue cheese – sounded good. Um, it was more like chicken mush with a drop of bbq sauce, no blue cheese, a heap of mayo, and old celery. A mere few bites made me feel fatty and gross. Bleh. Not to mention the woman working the register came across pretty rude and pretentious. Also, my friend ordered the ahi salad, which smelled like spoiled fish. She returned it and asked for chicken – they gave her a small amount of shredded dark meat chicken she didn’t think was edible either. It was probably the same chicken mush in my sandwich. I really don’t mean to be rude, but my stomach is turning just writing this review – I’m still grossed out. If you want a sandwich, do yourself a favor and skip Kitchen Faire and go to Mendocino Farms.

They have a sister store in the 707 Wilshire Building. This is a review for that location as they don’t have a separate Unilocal profile. Decent option for breakfast and lunch in the business area of DTLA. I’ve ordered a few different wraps here for both breakfast and lunch. All of them have been average. My favorite is the Spicy Ahi Tuna Wrap $ 8.18. They also have salads, baked good, coffee, and fresh juice. This is my go to spot on a busy day when I can’t walk further out or did not bring food from home.

I’m not in DT often, especially during lunchtime, so given the opportunity to try out some of the lunch spots in the area… I decided to come here for a taste of something new. I ordered myself an Ahi Nicoise wrap in a spinach wrap(you can choose from spinach or wheat) which at around $ 7.50 is not a bad deal. My wrap came stuffed with freshly seared ahi tuna and all the goodies of a nicoise salad– the green beans, the hard boiled egg, olives, etc. Great option if you’re looking for something light, refreshing AND satisfying. They have a ton of fresh juices and unique sides to complete your meal too. I love healthy spots like these that serves up a simple yet original menu.

I think it is faire to say that I got the wrong sandwich. Get it? «Faire to say.» Just a little joke with words. What’s not a joke is getting the Smoker Chicken as a sandwich rather than a wrap. The thing is clearly meant to be a wrap and I can only imagine the tragic story that ended with it squished between two slices of overly large bread. Otherwise, this place looks pretty cool, is close to work and seems to have good menu choices, so I’ll be back. Just be careful and don’t make the same mistake I made.

Fellow Unilocalers, you have done me no wrong. I had a craving for a sandwich, and definitely not the corporate kinda with 5 million things on the menu. It’s the kind where you taste the love in the sandwich. It is definitely rare to find a small and delicious sandwich spot. Here goes — The Muffallato(sp?) Sandwich, with Green Apple Slaw, and Plum tea. The«Faire» Deal. Quite faire indeed. As suggested, the Apple Slaw was quite the surprise. Just enough tang and sweetness from the green apples. I’m not one for onions, so I took a few of those out, and it was still delightful. The sandwich was great — as suggested by the cashier. It had fresh crisp bread, deli meats that i can’t remember their names, pickles, and a chopped olive spread that was the perfect twist to the sandwich. Talking about it makes me wish I only ate half, so I can eat the other half for dinner. Watch out! The Muffallato was a special of the day — so it might not be on the menu as often. Quick service, friendly staff equates to my non-stressful lunch hour. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

My favorite eatery in Down Town LA! I love their simple menu, makes life easier when trying to decide on lunch during working hours. I have tried most of the items but absolutely addicted to the spicy ahi and cucumber juice. 5 Stars on service –friendly and very efficient. 5 Stars on healthy food–

I tried the ahi nicoise(née-swah?) in spinach wrap form. Verdict: quite good. I really liked the combination of egg and the pop from the olives. I’m not a fan of the spicy couscous side. I’ll sample the potato salad next time. The cashier girl is freaking adorable. I just want to scoop her up and put her in my pocket.

Finally got to try Kitchen Faire! I’ll make it short and sweet :) Cucumber Juice? YESPLEASE! I want to pick Chris’ brain for the recipe because this stuff was so refreshing, I was sad when I took the last sip and realized it was gone. I got the sandwich with a side of spicy couscous and they were both fabulous! The couscous had the right amount of spice to it(anything with Sriracha is my thing, I put Sriracha in my cups of noodles! lol). It was very refreshing and minty, it was absolutely great. The sandwich was so good! The bread was very fresh and crunchy, the slaw gave it the right amount of tanginess and the pork was so juicy! This sandwich is an absolute winner in my book. Glad I was finally able to try it. Next time I’m going to try the ahi sandwich. See you soon Kitchen Faire!

Thinking I was going to settle for a corn dog at Famima!!, the«Now Open» caught my attention as a solution to my hunger. The pulled pork immediately caught my attention when I discovered that this was available as a sandwich, salad or wrap with some amazing sides like red skin potato salad, watermelon with a balsamic glaze or a green apple slaw. Passing on those and going with the sandwich option, also grabbed a natural soda and one of the best lemonades that I’ve enjoyed to wash it down. My order was taken immediately, service was friendly and my name called quicker than I expected. The slaw covering the pork was tangy enough to add some bite to the sandwich without soaking into the bread or overpowering the meat. I was torn between finishing it all or bringing home the other half to share with the Mrs; she was happy that I went with Plan B. There is a small eating area inside along with a few tables outside which wasn’t a problem showing up at 3:00 but might lead to a «to go» order if you arrive a few minutes past noon. It wasn’t until after I finished that I discovered they had only been open for a few hours but look to be on their way to success! I’ll certainly be adding this to my list of DTLA stops.
