This liquor store is okay, it is smaller compared to the many liquor store in the area and needs better lighting, I usually stop here just to get lottery tickets, It is convenient as it is just right by Eagle Rock Blvd, curbside parking is more often than not — available. They have quite a few selections of hard liquor and an almost wall-to-wall cold beverage section. They have a limited selection of chips, snacks and a few jerky variety. The guy behind the counter is cool, for a quick in-and-out transaction, like to buy lottery buy or scratchers, this store definitely will suffice.

I guess I’m used to liquor stores in the midwest. This had a very small selection, overpriced alcohol and the beer looked like it had been sitting there for a few months. I walked in and walked out.

This is a liquor store that I’ve been going to for several years… I love that they carry Shiner Bock and various other beers. The prices are pretty average when it comes to the area and it’s open later than any of the other liquor stores in Eagle Rock save for 7⁄11. My favorite thing about this place is the customer service. The regular cashier is so nice and attentive to his customers. a few times he has gone into the back to get me colder beer than the ones he had just put into the fridge. What a nice treat! They have an interesting array of random snacks you can buy and I believe they’re the only store on Eagle Rock blvd that sells refrigerated ginger ale, which is unbelievably rare for whatever reason.

They sell Hoegaarden here, which makes them champs in my book. The cost is definitely a bit steeper than when I find it at Ralph’s, but if I’m driving by it’s worth the stop. I’ve only tried to pick up wine here once, in my memory, and remember not being too successful in that endeavor. There just wasn’t a ton to pick from… but it’s a small store. Nearly 1⁄3 of the store is comprised of behind-the-counters sales(aka: all their liquor). If you want liquor you have to ask them to pull it out for you. As you can imagine, this also means they have a hefty stock of liquor. One of my co-workers advised me to treat my headcold with green tea complemented with a couple shots of bourbon. I came to L&M, asked the employee what types of whiskey they had, and was presented with anything ranging from super cheap to that-which-was-locked-behind-glass. I went with Jack Daniels, but not for lack of options. Dudes here are friendly, polite and always ID… something I actually appreciate(probably because I’m of age).

God I hope this is my only review ever of a liquor store. I am not a regular at any liquor store besides this one. This place has become a regular stop after picking up Frank L. on our way to a friend’s house for a backyard bonfire, the beach, a bar, pretty much anywhere. It used to be it was for him to run in and pick up some cheap, disgusting vodka(it IS Frank and you know it!). But lately I’ve been wandering in to pick up a little bottle of Malibu Rum and a bottle of Coke for myself. $ 8.99 for the Malibu and $ 1.29 for the coke and happy Aimee becomes flushed and giggly Aimee. I’ve also picked up some beer here for the guys, they’ve got an okay selection. A friend of ours is a Grolsh fan, they’ve got it, you want Rolling Rock? They’ve got that too. Nice people who don’t judge you when they begin looking at you like they know they’ve seen you in there before. More than once.

Come here for the wide selection of ultra premium liquors. They have bottles of liquor here that I’ve never heard of. The downside is that they charge a good 15 — 20% more for regular liquor than a super market. Wine? Nothing special, at least not that I’ve noticed. Same with the beer, but I know they have a wide selection. Like I said, if you’re looking for an ultra premium vodka/tequila/gin, go to LnMs! If you’re not from the neighborhood, I suggest BevMo of course.
