Alex… hummm attitude, self centered, not polite, seems to bend reality to his foggy view(s). Bad experience. Beware and carefully monitor any interactions with this man. There is a serious trust issue with Alex who is also president of the company. He will endlessly make excuses and refuse to take any responsibility for his poor judgment and actions. Ego.

I had a series of correspondences with Alex LiMandri regarding downtown loft and apartment listings I found on . In the few emails we exchanged, I have come to the following conclusions: — The guy is the, self-proclaimed, hottest agent in town. I mean the guy OWNS downtown. He’s got too much business with too little time. Bottom line, he neither needs or has the time for your business. OR — He’s tactless, dismissive, somewhat lazy, and not as accessible as you would expect in someone who really wants your business. He’s also got a problem with: you searching on your own(instead of waiting on him for days), working for ‘free’(??), and you not communicating the right information(which I think goes back to the fact that you’re searching on your own). Recap of our email correspondences– read from bottom to top and be the judge: To: Me Sorry you feel that way. I am just trying to understand my clients first to help them best and find the right place. I represent the most amount of units for lease in Downtown LA. As you know I am getting paid only if you lease or buy a property with me, so if you look alone and I work hours to find you a place and make appointments for a unit that you already saw, I would basically take away time and effort for no return. I am sure you understand that no one wants to work for free. I am happy to find you the perfect place and focus on your search as long as we are honest to each other and that we are communicating the right information. To: Alex No we’re not, but it seems like you’re busy already. We will continue our own search and possibly look for another agent. To: Me Are you working with different agents? I am asking because it is unethical for me to help you if you are already represented or working with other agents. To: Alex We are free to move into an apartment at any time. Let’s just say anything that is available for move in in the next 2 weeks since we have this Saturday fully booked with appointments for viewings. If we don’t find something this weekend, then we can set up viewings for sometime next week. To: Me You need to decide when is your moving date and by knowing that — I can arrange showings when it is appropriate. Please let me know and will tell you what units are available and when we ca visit them. Unfortunately the units are going fast and the vacancy in downtown is very low To: Alex I would like the move-in date for 555 Xth St. #XXX listed at $XXXX on laloftblog courtesy of you from John Aaroe Group.
