After shopping through so many good but bad reviews for a beard expert I was lucky enough to find La Navaja and my man Beto! Super clean, spacious shop with a safe parking lot-​but more than that Beto and his wife are so friendly. I have let me beard grow from travel and change of season and was in very much need for a trim, shape, and style and I must say me and my beard have found a home here! Visit, support, and trust you will love this barber house. See you all in a coupe of weeks!

First thought upon walking in: this shop is damn spotless. You are invited in by beats playing in the background, some good tv on for the patrons, and the traditional barber shop atmosphere. Clients and barber talking as their hair is sculpted; definitely the type of place you want to get your hair cut.
Jose cut my hair. I wasn’t too sure on what I wanted, just came in with a mop on my head, and needed to get cleaned up badly. After listening to what I wanted, we ended up on a zero taper to 1 ½ and trim on top. Damn perfect choice I must say. A traditional cut done right.
The pride Jose takes showed in his work. Once he was about done, the straight razor came out, and the last few hairs were meticulously shaved away. Few places still do that every cut, but those small details are what makes this place stand out. I will definitely be returning here for a great cut at a fair price.

With Beto the owner, you never have to wait again. Booking my appointment it works with my crazy schedule at my job. I know Beto for almost 5 years and is the best friendly and profesional service provider. He make sure clients are happy with their haircut and takes time with their clients. Keep the success coming.

4 the past i would say, 7yrs or so ive been dealing with beto every single thursday for a hairkut. since day 1 i knew i had finally found an artist in his type of style and work. come nd pay him a visit. guaranteed u will not regret!!!

Hello Giovanni L. First of all I would like to start off by letting you know I just saw your message, and I also want to tell you I totally understand your point of view. Now, let’s talk business. The day you walked in, as you noticed I was sitting down waiting for my next appointment, as you already know, I’ve been working by appointments only, specially on weekends. This is NOT the first time we’ve met, you know me from the other shop, remember when you scheduled an appointment and you didn’t call to cancel nor show up, and I don’t think you even care about me just waiting for you, but it’s ok, no hard feelings, so when you walked in I did not asked you if you needed a hair cut, because this is a Barber Shop and when someone enters is not to greet me or to say hi, I know that when someone comes in is to get a service, unfortunately my appointment was running late, and I was on the phone texting him, remind him about his appointment, and when you asked me if I was busy I answered yes, it was not my intention making you feel non welcome, nor tried to ignored you by now making eye contact with you, I was a little worried about me running behind with the next appointment after the one that was already late, and I told you I would be available until Sunday. I am very sorry you misunderstood the situation, I don’t want you to say I’m all that, but I do take my work seriously, and it was not intentionally to act unprofessional, I hope you understand my situation. If you don’t recommend this Barber Shop I totally understand and one thing I can say, it’s not because of a bad service you received, but of a wrong time and a misunderstanding. And if you ever change your mind, I would personally take you, and why not… a free hair cut would be on the house, of course, don’t forget to MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT, so we don’t another misunderstanding. I always like to try new local places but I think barber category I will close it today.
This guy knows what his doing and he will put his 100% got his Customers. I walked inn Friday at 2:30pm with no appointment poor guy took me and after he finished my hair cut he told that was his lunch time and he has full schedule until 10:00pm.
I will highly recommend this place to anyone who needs detail work but make sure to get appointment. Thumps up for Beto

Been coming with Betto for over 12 years. Please keep in mind this location is by appointment only and doesn’t take in walk in. So for the sake of people giving bad reviews for walking in and not getting service. He is best I have used in the San Fernando Valley and I highly recommend anyone looking for beards and fades etc.

I’ve been coming to Beto for a while works off appointment only and I’ve had them as late as 9pm and it’s great because i work late myself he’s the only barber who’s able to do that for me. Overall he’s a master of his craft he cuts hair really great and the appointments are super flexible in terms of time. Great service at a great price compared to other places.
