i love Dr. Sal, he is good at what he does. His staff made it easy to go through the process of getting my lap band. They fight for their patients and are easy to talk to. He even make himself available for patients on weekends by giving you his cell phone number, and the number of his coordinator, and they do answer them. i had a scare and was sent to the ER and my mother called Dr. Sal, at 2am, from the ambulance because we did not know if it had anything to do with my band. he told us not to worry and that he would meet us at the ER. when he got there we where just finding out that the problem was not my band but my galbladder which needed to be removed. i thought it was amazing that he not only answered his phone and was pleasant at 2am but that he met us at the ER so that i would feel comfortable. I feel so safe with Dr. Sal, and his staff that i even took my mom to see them. and she was so impressed by my progress and the way that the Dr and his staff work together that she had the band done too. and she loves it. between the 2 of us we have lost more than 200lbs. If you are looking for a Dr. who is going to be there for you and treat you like you are important this is the Dr. for you.

Hands down, Dr Sal, Dr Shabatian, and Dr Nazarian are The BEST doctors for the lap band procedure. They made my husband and I feel totally at ease.
Their entire office staff, nurses, surgery techs… everyone were so amazing!
I can’t thank them enough for treating me with such love and respect!
Would I recommend them??? Absolutely!!!

and Dr. Hooman Shabatian, MD, MS and Dr. Sharam Salimitari MD, MS are great.
They made me feel really comfortable and were very patient with me.
I had lots of questions and they answered every single one of them and even told me about many things that I didn’t even think to ask.
They are very knowledgeable and great at what they do.
At first I was worried about the lap band being more of a blockage and not allowing me to eat at all and that I would not be satisfied after a meal.
After I got the lap band filled, it feels as if my stomach it self has shrunk.
I eat about half of what I ate before and I am totally satisfied, and I rarely feel hungry.
I can eat almost everything I ate before, just in a much smaller quantity, which is a good thing. I was really eating way too much.
Its funny that I can see that now that I am eating less and feeling better.
I was nervous about having the surgery, but they really made me feel comfortable and assured me that I would do great.
They really offered a warm, safe, secure, supportive, very personalized and tailored service. That was so nice and different than what I was expecting.
I still have a long way to go, but with the help of Dr. Shabatian and Dr. Salimitari, eating right and exercising, I feel that I am going to be successful for sure!!!
