Run far ladies… this place was awful. I have never felt so grossed out just being in a nail salon… I came home and showered. The woman doing my nails talked on her phone while she was actually working on my fingers and she didn’t even bother to clean up my cuticles. I asked for a french and the woman attempted to paint the flattering white tips… on half of my fingernail which she cut so short my poor fingers look stubby. Her more than adorable dog was in there, which didn’t bother me because I love animals… but the poor thing looked like she was constantly biting her fur for fleas:(I honestly can’t recommend this place to anyone and will never go back.

It’s hard to find a good nail salon! It’s really easy to pass up as it’s on Sepulveda Blvd. in between CVS, a dry cleaner’s, a trader joes, etc. You cannot access this place from the huge parking lot in back. Thank god there is street parking during the day so you can pull up right in front! It’s never crowded here and I can’t understand why, but i’m certainly thankful that I never have to wait. My acrylic french tips are always beautiful and never chip, fall off or look ugly. I constantly get compliments from people when I have them done! I wish I had more money to constantly have this place do upkeep on my nails. Trust me, they work miracles! I bit my nails constantly and sometimes even bite the skin. Kim can turn my ugly finger nails into beautiful lady like nails that are worth showing off. It’s definitely worth the $ 22. The pedicures here are also just as wonderful. My feet look and feel gorgeous after a spa pedicure. My legs are beautifully oiled and wonderfully massaged. If i forget to wear flip flips there, they’re always there with those temporary ones for me to walk out with. The women and one gentleman who are there are always friendly and helpful. They are pleasant to be around even if they are speaking in Vietnamese. They have a good movie on at all times(yesterday it was Edward Scissor Hands) and love to engage you in conversation about anything that matters to you! Go here! You’ll love it! You’ll love the staff! It also takes the LMU One Card!

I came here based on reviews from fellow Unilocalers. I’ve never been disappointed by places with good reviews on Unilocal, but well… there’s a first for everything right? The ladies are super sweet but unfortunately the rest of the service isn’t all that great. After leaving, I have an urge to run to the next nail salon for a complete re-do. The price of a spa pedi /mani is $ 24 which isn’t bad at all. However, it’s not worth it when they have very limited colors, only 7 – 8OPI colors, and little cockroaches running around the floor. Granted, it’s not a food establishment but still, EEWWW! The lady who applied my nail polish laid it on so thick that there are air bubbles and it feels like my nails are acrylic. YUCK, I think I’m gonna have to get my nails re-colored at a different salon, at the very least. BUMMER!

Don’t be fooled by the outdated décor and overall shabbiness of this place. I just got a kick as hour long pedicure for $ 30 including all the bells and whistles. My nail technician was sweet and worked deligiantly yet carefully while she trimmmed and shaped my nails and also gently removed dead skin from around each nail bed. Unlike other salons where the techs use the $ 5 extra callous removal to hike up the bill, the technician painstakingly pumiced away an accumulation of dead skin that may very well have been around since summer. My feet haven’t felt this soft since I was in grade school. Since the callous removal went beyond my expectations I got an extra 10 minute massage. Rather than the the hard rubbing and banging of the shins that usually result in post pedicure bruising, she started with a gentle pressing around the knees and worked down to my feet where reflexology and massage entertwined to help relieve the tension I had been feeling in my tootsies the past week. Finally, the polish job was top notch. I brought my own polish as I like to have it for touch ups and the selection is sub par. Lacquered, glossy and meticulous I could very well be a foot model and would not be surprised if a foot fetishest stopped to woo me with a Louboutain shopping spree.

This place looks like a hole-in-the-wall nail salon, but they are actually a lot better than they look. I came in to get a french pedicure and my sister came in to get a french manicure with acrylic tips. There were other women being helped so we had to wait, but it was worth it. The pedicure itself was $ 19 and I think it’s an extra $ 2 for a french pedicure and I got flowers on my big toes and they were definitely gorgeous. I think my total came to $ 23 or maybe slightly more BUT I’m used to paying more so it was exciting. I will definitely come back here for my pedicures and they accept flexi for LMU students, which is another plus. Pricing is very reasonable, staff is nice, and the wait wasn’t really that long, but it is worth it.
