I arrived this past monday morning 11÷30÷15, after online ordering my much craved bagel sandwich, to a closed door. What a shock! The best coffee in the neighborhood, where people(finally) knew my name. I ate there at least 3 times a week, from delicious breakfasts to heart warming soups to satisfying salads(their ratatouille was amazing!). Sad to hear the staff didn’t know about it, right before the holiday too. Come back Lemon Moon!!!

Lemon Moon is closed as of Wednesday, November 25th. I arrived about 9:30 am for my favorites of oatmeal, coffee and a muffin to find the entire staff in a state of shock, having been told that they were closing at that time, with no plans to reopen. I’ve been a 3x/week customer for at least five years, and will really miss the consistently excellent food and the courteous and amiable staff. I wish them well. This leaves a breakfast void in the immediate area. I only wish that they had served lunch and/or dinner and been able to sustain themselves. Good luck to all of the employees, dismissed on Thanksgiving eve – apparently with no consideration.

Barbecue salad was excellent, Caesar/kale salad was mediocre and beef Panini was excellent. Quantity was great and price reasonable. Service on the outdoor patio can be improved. Jack H Playa Vista

Ridiculous. I saw no restaurant signage from the street. I found my way to the parking garage behind with a tiny sign saying 1 hour validation. No signage in the garage which was mostly reserved. A nice parking attendant told me to take an elevator to a lobby, which looked like it could not possibly be right. It was a corporate office. The guy at the reception desk directed me down the street to the restaurant. There were no menus, I got in line and no employee would respond to «how do you order here? Are there menus?» Finally after getting almost to the front of the line, a chef found a menu for me and I ordered. Waited 20 minutes for a panini with hard bread, too much mayonnaise and bland chicken. There are about a dozen low level employees running around and nobody who is managing things. I will not go back.

Lemon Moon is an absolute dream to order catering from. Their staff is so helpful and kind. Some of the staff in our office have medical restrictions and Lemon Moon always accommodates them with separate meals. We love ordering from there every week!

For what they offers, the seasonal salads are good, but they are not out standing for the price. The garlic fries and the sandwiches are good. The service are usually good, but they completely forgot my order and I waited till my group almost finished their foods. I don’t think I will go back again unless I have to.

This is one of the few lunch options within walking distance of my new office. It is decent lunch fare(sandwiches, salads, smoothies) but it’s overpriced and loud. The burger I had was greasy — The grilled cheese was decent — and the french fries were obviously Orida Freezer Fries baked in a convection oven. I have heard great things about Lime(a few blocks down Olympic to the West) and look forward to trying that option instead. Side note — don’t be tempted by their plastic wrapped bakery goods. I have had a muffin and a cookie from here and they were both overpriced and really disappointing.

Awesome atmosphere. I had the crispy chicken salad special, it had the right amount of sweet and tang. Very good spot for lunch. I wish they had more outside seating.

I hate driving to the west side but when I do, I never hesitate to come here for lunch. I love their array of salads displayed in their giant deli showcase glass. They have every salad you can possibly imagine and everything tastes fresh and flavorful. They also have fresh baked pastries and a gorgeous outdoor patio seating arrangement in their awesome contemporary space. Don’t forget to look at their daily specials and fun flavored lemonade drinks(pomegranate, regular, kiwi, strawberry, etc). I haven’t tried any of their sandwiches and Panini yet so I have no say on how that tastes but I’m pretty sure everything they offer is delicious. I think parking is like one of the most difficult things to find here. I’ve been fortunate enough that every time I do make a visit, it’s because I have a client nearby and its walking distance from their office. Pricing — It’s on the higher end for what you get in terms of portion but you can’t put a price tag on something that tastes absolutely amazeballs!

I come here because I work in the building. Been coming here for the last year and let me tell you this place SUCKS. I’m not talking the food, I’m talking the service. The ONLY reason I still come here is because it is the only place to grab something quick to eat when I’m in a time crunch. Otherwise I would never come back. I really wish there were another option for food in the building. The service is terrible. The cashier chick is rude and acts likes she’s never seen me before, every time I come in. I can never order something hot off the menu because it takes them like 30 minutes to make a breakfast burrito. The manager NEVER smiles. Oh! And they are WAY overpriced. I’m not the only one that feels this way another the service. The whole office feels the same way. Someone please bring us another restaurant or snack shop with better customer service to the building!

This place was good. It’s a walk up and order place, then you get a number and are served. It’s downstairs in an office building. You can park in the building and then walk outside to get to the entrance of the restaurant. Only 1 hr validated parking. I was 5 minutes over an hour and had to pay $ 3. I would recommend extending the parking validation period. Food wise– I had the turkey sandwich and a beet salad. Both were good. But the meal was $ 15 without drink or dessert. So, definitely a $$ place.

I work next to Lemon Moon so I’ve basically tried about everything here and believe me when I say that this place is super subpar. The good: Fries(seriously, they’re really good), edamame salad Everything else lacks so much flavor and EXPENSIVE! I get that lunch will usually cost you about $ 10 but I’ll spend an easy $ 16 here with NO drink. It’s crazy for it to be so overpriced for bland food. I still come here sometimes because I don’t always remember to bring my lunch or don’t have time to go anywhere else, but I dread having to get lunch here every single time. Really wish this place was good. Two thumbs down.

Lemon Moon is really a hit or miss. At times the pre made salads are just delectable, other times they’re not even worthy of a second bite. Since I am a regular(I don’t know blame the Israeli salad) I have attempted multiple techniques to only get the freshest of food. After much experimentation. Yes, I’m serious. I have come to the conclusion that Lemon Moon serves it’s freshest and most savory food between 11:00 am to 1 pm. If you come any later, or earlier for lunch items you will leave somewhat dissatisfied. My favorites on the good days are: Spicy Kimchi Noodle Salad Shrimp Salad– MAKESURETHISISFRESH! Israili Salad Yes. It is quite apparent that Lemon Moon is similar to Lemonade but do not get the two mixed up. The price are quite different and so are the variations of options. There are days, like today where I have paid $ 16.50 for just a mixture of three salads at Lemon Moon… In all honesty I prefer Lemon Moon here and there for lunch around the office, but Lemonade will forever be my favorite restaurant within the Delta terminal at LAX. Here’s to insights, health and good food Unilocalers!

One of the girls at work was sweet enough to take me to lunch today, but sadly, I didn’t eat much. I ordered a side of the string beans and a side of the steak salad. The string beans were flavorless and the steak salad was extremely salty! I was hoping this place would be similar to Lemonade(because I love Lemonade), but I was totally wrong. Even though it’s a walkable distance away from the office, I don’t think I’ll ever go back.

I recently started traveling to our LA office which is in the same building as Lemon Moon… I wish we had one of these in SF! The breakfast and lunch menu selection are great! Everything from healthy to sinful they have it covered. I am a fries fanatic and I am pretty sure their fries are among the best I have ever had. Their side salads are unique and yummy – get three of them if you can’t decide! The service here is always super friendly!

I came here because Cris Brown works here. Ladies and Gents, that is not a typo. Cris Brown, the chef, works at this restaurant. No, not the singer… although apparently he gets that a lot… Overall observation: I’ve had a sampling of various dishes, and I’d have to say the food makes me feel healthy without leaving me with that famished, deprived feeling you get from eating grass all day. I could easily someone could eat here every day and not get a heart attack. Their drink of the day changes based on what fruit is in season. They set me up with a yummy papaya drink. It tasted fresh, and real. It wasn’t covered in syrups and sugars. It let the fruit shine. It was a great refreshing start. Afterwards I tried some platters of various salads and hummus. Everything was hearty but healthy. They didn’t cover their dishes with sodium like a lot of other restaurants out there. It felt like the perfect American lunch cuisine for L.A. They are also great for the hot summer weather. The Panini was flavorful, with cuts of various meats. The bread was nice and toasted. The sliders were moist and tender. The balance of flavors were great. The brioche bun didn’t cover the flavor of the meat. The red cabbage slaw added a crisp texture to each bite, without adding bitterness– a sign of a good chef. The meatloaf had a hint of eastern exoticness. This American classic was plated on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes, but it was also topped with a mixed green salad with tangerines, and golden raisins. + 1 star because this place donates food to schools in local, underprivileged, urban neighborhoods. I would consider this a great regular lunch place, when you feel like eating something healthy, but hearty, and fancier than what the local fast food eats can provide.

«Instead of telling the world what you’re eating for breakfast, you can use social media to do something that’s meaningful.» Edward Norton* Hate to disagree with both a mogul and fellow Leo, but my Mom always said breakfast is THE most important meal of the day and if she said so, you’d better believe it! Furthermore, as a fitness professional, if I share what I eat for breakfast, which is 99% of the time healthy, I’m inspiring others to do likewise and that, IMHO is meaningful. So, here’s what I ordered, a Half & Half(half egg white, half whole egg) Veggie Omelet with Goat Cheese. The other two options for this breakie were all whole egg or all egg white. I also had the choice of potatoes and toast but went with fresh fruit. Added a regular coffee, served up with real cream(a little bit goes a long way, trust me) topped up at no charge. Barely had time to check in on Unilocal when my morning meal arrived . Omelet, fluffy, all loaded with zucchini, bell peppers and not too salty, even had to add a pinch. Gracious, efficient service. Parking validated for one hour. Lemon Moon now closes at 2:30PM. Still have to «do» lunch here :) *

A nice lunch spot with a wide variety of salads, sandwiches and entrees. A little bit fancier but still casual with plentiful seating both indoors as well as outside on the patio. Today I chose the salmon and beet entrée served with roasted cauliflower and a beet coulis. Perfectly portioned salmon filet but at first bite all I could taste was SALT. No bueno for me and my diet. The components of the dish all worked really well together and tasted fantastic aside from the salt. I almost for a second considered not eating the fish but having dropped almost $ 20 on my lunchtime meal I didn’t want it to go to waste. A gallon of water this afternoon should flush that sodium out nicely. Brown rice is not currently available as a side dish but I was told by staff it will be coming back«soon». For a cleaner carb choice they do have a tasty Harvest Salad with quinoa, cranberry, green apple, almonds, cilantro and herbs. A plate of freshly cut lemon wedges conveniently sits at the register counter to add to your water. Parking IS validated(though the garage is a bit of a maze to navigate)!

F’ing delicious! Came in to meet up with a friend who works near by. He’s all«Try it you’ll like it.» so off we went. I ended up loving in from the moment I stepped through the door. I had the Chicken Panini and Israeli salad(its like a cucumber/tomato salad. you know). It was the perfect match for me. The sandwich was flavorful and just the right size. All the ingredients are fresh and there is much to choose from. If you happen to work near this place Lucky You! If you happen to drive out of your way to get here… Lemon Moon will not disappoint. HIGHLYRECOMMEND!!! I posted a pic too…
