WOW, the chicken pot pie blew me away. No crust, mostly chicken. I never thought I’d say this but no crust needed! It was that scrumptious. The gravy was good but light. Basically many hot choices are healthier versions of comfort food. The miso braised beef was hearty and quite sweet. Hot foods are $ 7 for a cup that holds more than I expected. Sides are $ 2.75 each. They offer seasonal choices, too to keep you coming back! Very cool that sampling is allowed. Our experience with service could not have been better. We had great service from the welcome upon entry until a counter man noticed I had leftovers and offered me a lid for my leftover chicken. If you like kimchi, the kimchi soba noodles are a must try. Not too spicy but has heat. I’m not a beet fan but my friend liked her salad. The red quinoa salad was mild. Not a favorite but it sure was healthy. Sandwiches are on small side but look good. $ 3 for lemonade. The desserts look tempting — mini cupcakes, lemon blueberry meringue, but next time I’ll sweeten things up with lemonade. To go containers conveniently wait for you near the water. I like how Lemonade is green conscious as trash cans are designated for recyclables and non-recyclables. There are bright, whimsical LA themed plates decorating the walls. You can sit outside or people watch from inside. Parking is a short walk away in a residential spot. Can’t wait to return!

For some reason this particular Lemonade doesn’t stand up. Food is not always fresh. Selection seems limited compared to others. Maybe because I usually drop in for dinner. Still, no excuse.

I LOVE lemonade. It’s my go-to place for lunch. The food is always fresh and the people who work their are always friendly. It’s great to see them building so many locations around LA! (Tip: Get the carrot, cauliflower, or spaghetti squash market salads. ;))

Located next to ROC Kitchen. They offer fresh, delicious pastas, chili, salads, soups and of course a nice selection of lemonades. They also have some yummy desserts and the prices are great. A good option for the health conscious. I adore this place.

«Lemonade … that cool refreshing drink.» Lemonade, the chain of cafeteria-style restaurants, proves it is so much more than that. I’ve heard of Lemonade locations in both Brentwood and Westlake Village but never tried one. I heard it’s cafeteria style which brings back scary memories from my youth of sliding a massive tray along a line and adding items. But Lemonade is so much more than a modern cafeteria. The food is really good, like Food Network good. My favorite salad so far is watermelon and salmon. I’ve had various sandwiches, which were delicious. Service is super friendly and helpful. The only blandness is the seating area which is a plain white table and a bar/stools next to the wall. There are a few tables outside. Lemonade, the beverage, which they have in options, is delicious too.

I like it. I get a couple of portions to go and a lemonade to go. The staff is super friendly and they’re super cool about sampling. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s the«healthiest» option on Sawtelle. I’ve tried their sandwiches before, but it’s hit or miss. Sometimes the bread is just too hard and it’s kind of a pain to eat. I like my food to hassle free. Seriously, try the lemonades and food first. Samples are important to a good experience here.

I came here the other night for a quick dinner. I am a fan of lemonade as a chain, and have gone to their other locations many times. There were new items so as usual i asked to sample items prior to choosing. The man behind the counter told me that they ran out of sample cups so no. I told him he didn’t make sense. He could simple put it on a fork or small plate. He went to ask his manager and she said no. So I asked to speak with her. I simply explained and she said her rule is no samples without sample cups. Her attitude was beyond childish. She didn’t even explain in a polite way. Then rolling her eyes she said«what do you want to sample anyways?» That’s when I told her not to worry about it– and that I’ll leave. She rolled her eyes again and said ok. Not a «sorry for your inconvenience» or a «thanks for coming in». Beyond unprofessional manager.

**This review will purely be based on me ordering lemonade. During my SoCal trip, I just so happened to be in the area for lunch and I’ve heard lots of great things about Lemonade. I’m not entirely a fan of the super healthy foods(but I should be) so I basically stopped here for a drink. I would say that i’m actually really picky when it comes to lemonade; I don’t like it when it’s overly sour, not sweet enough, and whatever else you can think of. So when I went inside, it was really nice to see that there were many flavors and best of all, I could try samples! My favorite is definitely the Watermelon Rosemary combo. Not much else to say, the cashier was super friendly and patient with us(I think my friend tried almost every flavor haha).

This location is smaller than other Lemonades. Therefore, they don’t have the same selection /variety for the cold salad entrees, e.g., broccoli salad, avocado /tomato salad. The last two times I came, the cold salads seemed dry/sad, as if they weren’t as fresh as I’m used to. It isn’t fun to eat here in a group– cramped seating, which gets worse if someone comes to wipe the counters or sweep floors. Service has always been friendly to me. Thumbs down overall to the Lemonade chain for having surprisingly few vegan options. :(I thought this would be a good way to get salad variety on the go, but most cold salads are chock full of dairy/cheese and/or meat.

My Mom and I came here for a healthy lunch after my infusion at UCLA. The whole set up here is kind of confusing. My Mom and I kinda looked through what they had first. We stood there checking stuff out still not exactly sure how this place worked and no one behind the counter really cared to help us out. At first I thought the portion set up was for everything they had, but I later learned that’s just for their salads. My Mom ordered first and then I just followed her. I just wanted some hot foods. My Mom and I shared beet salad, chard and goat cheese salad, seared ahi tuna, miso short rib and lemongrass chicken. To drink we got lemonade, of course. I got the guava limeade and my Mom got the watermelon rosemary lemonade. Even though we shared everything it was pretty expensive, around $ 33. My Mom even went over the receipt to see if they made some kind of mistake, but that’s actually what it all cost. The ahi and both salads were good. My Mom loved the chard and goat cheese salad. I liked the ahi. The seared part was seasoned well and had a big raw center. It was the hot foods that were the disappointment and they were probably the most expensive things we got there. Both meats were cooked fine, they were tender and had a good fat content. It’s just both sauces were on the sweet side, like they added some very unnecessary sugar to each dish. The miso short rib didn’t taste like miso, it had more of a black pepper taste and the lemongrass chicken tasted more like ginger than lemongrass. The hot dishes were sweet and misleading, not something you expect. My guava limeade was alright, I wish it tasted more like guava. My Mom’s watermelon rosemary lemonade was really good though, refreshing and you could taste the rosemary distinctly. This place is ok, next time I’ll just come for the salad, ahi and lemonade. The hot dishes were disappointing.

I wanted my brother to try Lemonade since he was visiting LA, so we came here since it’s right by my house. Let’s just say it doesn’t beat the Venice location at all, which is the one I always go to. My three favorite portions at Lemonade are the watermelon radish & seared tuna, the couscous & mushrooms, and the soba noodles. Unfortunately, they only had the soba noodles! They didn’t even have my boyfriend’s favorites which are the pineapple chicken and the quinoa! I ended up getting the soba noodles and the pesto pasta but it just wasn’t the same. Luckily they had the truffle mac n cheese which is another one of my favorites so that made it a little better. I understand that this place is small but ugh, I just wanted my favorites :(If I’m ever here, I’d probably get sushi or ramen next door instead.

I’ve heard so much about this place and I am so glad I finally got to try this place. Since their name is Lemonade, they are pretty much known for their lemonades. They have a lot of varieties in terms of lemonades(and food). I got the Blood Orange Lemonade because I thought it would be simple since I am not too crazy about the more complex ingredients in my lemonade. It was really good and refreshing! You can taste the lemonade and the blood orange separately, and they also complimented each other well. They also blended together really well, too! It’s definitely a must on a hot day! Overall, I think Lemonade did lived up to its hype. I hope to try their food next time because they looked delicious(and they’re supposed to be healthier).

What a great place! Not only was the food of great variety and super delicious, but the service was phenomenal! I’ve never been to Lemonade before so I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t totally lost as to what/how to order when I first walked in. But the girls at the counter were SO accommodating and understanding of us Lemonade newbies. Quita, in particular, was so friendly and helpful. She was so sweet and really helped us understand how to order, what to order, and was completely accommodating every step of the way! The girls let us sample everything(and when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING), but they were never annoyed with us or frustrated, even though they had every right to be. They just kept telling us that they wanted us to have a good first experience at Lemonade and, boy, did we ever! The food was awesome — very light and refreshing — and the lemonade itself was absolutely amazing. Such good flavors! Definitely go for blood orange or cucumber mint. Lemonade really lives up to its name. Edit: My brother just informed me that last time he came, he dropped his lemonade and they gave him a new one free of charge — talk about great customer service!

So yay. finally there is a lemonade on sawtelle. Like all lemonades, you have your options to get salads/meats/sandwiches/warm plates and of course lemonades of different flavors and concoctions, and giant macaron cookies. However, my only gripe about this location, besides how small it is, is the super tiny portions. For some reason or another, portions are rather small at this location compared to the other ones. I usually get 4 portions of the salad(i know i’m a fatty) and am very filled. Here. i feel like i can still eat more? They’re definitely more stingy here. Oh wells. With the amount of choices and options on sawtelle, unless you’re really craving a salad, i would go for something else.

Oh my goodness!!! LEMONADE! The cucumber mint is my ALL-Time favorite! I love that there’s a location off Sawtelle! I do have to say for 2 sides and a lemonade, it can really add up. Get close to $ 10-$ 12. The short rib sandwich is my favorite if I’m feeling something a little hearty. But usually I order a kale mushroom salad and the soba noodles. In terms of their desserts? They offer huge size macarons and some cake options, but I feel like they’re overpriced. I say splurge on the lemonade and call it a day. Parking is a little tough but there’s street parking towards the residential area.

As everyone else mentioned, this location is very tiny. There are reduced selections for everything, including the marketplace portions. They were even missing a lot of the most popular salads, like the shaved Brussels sprouts and the avocado, pine nut, and cherry tomato. Service was friendly.

After seeing many Unilocal buddies check in to «Lemonade,» I always wondered what exactly Lemonade was. It turns out Lemonade sells food such as macarons, sandwiches, and salads. We already had a day of gluttony eating at Sugarfish and Tsujita, so we figured why not end with something sweet, sour, and refreshing? The lady behind the counter was very helpful and let us sample all the lemonades. I tried all of them(except I forgot guava) and they were good. All of the flavors were natural tasting and refreshing. I like tart lemonade – perhaps more than the average person. I got the original flavor. It was more tart than sweet, and very refreshing. Blood orange, pineapple, cucumber, and watermelon flavors were good as well. Lemonade is one of my favorite drinks. «Lemonade» the store has good Lemonade in a variety of flavors. I would definitely stop by any Lemonade location again to try the flavors of the day!

Just stopped by to get some lemonade. Love the different flavors they always offer. Tried the Guava Limeade today! It was so yummmm… And took home a lemonade cupcake! The colorful sprinkles were so cute. Very clean and bright inside! And outdoor seating with shade.

I’m trying to go low-carb after a rough week last week of breads, pastas and breads. We decided to try out Lemonade yesterday since it’s in our ‘hood. Very good food. A little expensive and if the quality is there then that’s fine. But since I do not know about the quality(i.e. — Are the vegetables organic? Was my salmon wild-caught?) it felt expensive. A little bit of a learning curve in figuring out how things work. Would rather they go full cafeteria-style and just put a price on each item. I fell in love with their Israeli couscous. The salmon was excellent, but intentionally cold. I still liked it once I recalibrated. My son had a grilled cheese and we shared some other sides. My wife was hoping they would have the broccoli side that they had at their South Bay location, but«no dice.» Oh yeah, they have lemonade too.

I’m a fan of Lemonade and was super excited to see the Sawtelle location was finally open! It’s much smaller than the Larchmont and Venice locations, so that means less menu items to choose from :( They still had my favorite soba noodles from the cold section and they packed a surprising amount of the hot prepared food as well! They also have some dessert selections and a nice selection of lemonades — blood orange is still a fave! Décor is super cute and cheerful and there’s a picnic table in the middle, bar seating all around the edge and outdoor patio seating as well. A welcome addition to Sawtelle!
