Liquor & Food Mart

I enjoy going to this food mart. The cashier is always friendly. Instead of driving all the way to a supermarket, I just walk by and get the basic things I need. They do not have all items there that is in a supermarket, but they have the most basic necessities. They don’t have sleeping aids here either, but they do have canned foods, milk, tissue paper and much more. They have a private parking for customers. They also have a security to watch over your vehicle.

I walk in with a happy hello but depending on who is manning the counter the response can vary from a sophisticated «good day» to an intimidating boring sigh.
Great selection of beers and pre-​mixed novelties. Wide range of spirits and cheap wine. Snacks and emergency ice on one side of the store and porno DVD’s and smut magazines at the other end.
There’s an ATM inside the store and a pair of loitering lush old timers right outside the main entrance.
Patrons can purchase money orders, stamps (no obsolete), lotto, condoms and sexual performance enhancing pills.
Its actually a great people watching locale. I find myself browsing the store and glance over at all the different walks of life that shop here: hipsters, cholos, MILFs, Cops, Doctors, Hobos, Suits, Hookers, Skanks and a one-​legged freak.
I love it when Im helped by the enthusiastic younger Bangladeshi Woman with the lovely rack… did I mention they sell milk?
