Always such good service and she’ll work with you get everything ready when you need it. I had to go on a business trip once and she held my clothes for an entire month!

I cannot find words to describe how pleased I am with the service here. Mary is the woman that does the alterations and dry cleaning here, and is super nice. She is patient and knows what shes talking about! My dress was a very expensive BCBG dress that needed to be altered (make bigger, since I gained weight!!!) and I was worried that it couldn’t be done., but Mary did an AMAZING job! and it looks exactly how the dress was originally. I will definitely be bringing all my dresses here for alterations. I never find anywhere I can trust but I have to say, I love how my dress turned out.

Mary, the owner is a wonderful and understanding woman! I went to her for alterations on one of my dresses and without telling her what I wanted to get altered she just looked at the dress and already knew! when I came to pick up my dress it was as if it was custom made! shes AMAZING at what she does!!!

I have been using Lord Jim for over 3 years now for all my dry cleaning and never an issue! Clothes arrive on time and always perfect! But, my favorite is Mary! I am thrilled I found a seamstress who can do any alteration and the results are always better than I anticipated! She works magic! This ability is a lost art these days and most are not as detailed as she. So thrilled I found her. Thank you! Thank you! I recommend Lord Jim to all for both cleaning and any alterations!

Always an amazing experience. Have been going here for ten years! The owner works the frontdesk and can confidently solve any stain, tear, or tailoring need. Customers include actors and rock stars, but she always has time for every customer. Prices are fair and if you need something super-​fast she’ll make it happen — often without extra fees. She also remembers EVERYTHING… I’ve dropped off a stack of clothes, lost my ticket, and returned months later, to find she can zip right to my bundle of hangers and hand me my shirts like its no big deal. Wow!

Mary is the magic of this place. She owns and operates this place solo and does not miss a beat. She knows you and does not need your ticket to remember what is yours. It is a dry cleaners and laudry but she can tailor the shit out of any article of clothing you have and make it look like it was custom made for your body. She can also custom make anything you want, I had her do a few pillows and a duvet cover to go with my bedspread. She is friendly, professional, very experienced and actually likes her job. Highly recommend.
