Think they should sweep once in awhile. It’s usually clean but today it’s like garbage cans threw up all over the floor… come on owners, get your stuff together and get some employees that give a crap about where they work!!!

I noticed there are new owners at the business from last year sometime. Many noticeable changes such as very bright interior lighting and parking lot lighting. Building was recently painted, inside is much cleaner than before and some new machines. I guess new owners know what they are doing.

This place is really dirty, they are saying they upgraded to the #1 soft water system, however after I used their laundry machine. wow. really? This place is the worst place to wash your cloth.

Hard to rate, kind of a shame. Staffed, and very friendly people, probably the owners. They will be happy to help you out. Clean, safe(staffed) and they have their own parking lot, which is nice in Koreatown. But: No credit cards. You gotta bring cash. No wifi. If you don’t care about using your card, or wifi, I’d say it’s a 5 star place. But for me, I use my credit card and I like to kill time with my iPad.

Ok so here goes! I’ve been coming here for over a year now., and have always revived nothing but the best service. Sometimes I utilize their wash & dry service, but since being in grad school, naturally I’m cutting back in ‘extra curricular expenses’, if you will. I be even received two gifts from the manager(new management has given me a calendar and a white and blue to week). any who, came tonight and inserted 15 quarters into a machine and it started over flowing. Leaking like crazy! The lady here tonight must be a newer employee as I’ve never met her before. After a little back and forth, I informed her of my alliance with this laundry mat as stated above, combined with the fact that I was loosing tide hypo allergenic detergent and snuggle fabric inserts. She then provided me with my 15 quarters back which I appreciated. She saved my business!

I opened the dryer(cissell) and my laundry barely dried. I used the Speed Queen one and that one is perfect. I think this place should fix their dryers. Waste of money and time!

The Lucy laundry on redondo and Washington charges customers to use their bathroom. Owner has to be cheap as f*ck. he charges his Jen customers to piss. He has a nineteen year old girl lock the front doors at 8:30pm when they close at 10pm. I will never come back here

Dudes, I HATE doing laundry. I just hate the entire process: the waiting, the sorting, the folding, the wrinkle avoidance(you know, where you have to pull out the sort-of-dry shrinkable clothes and lay them out so they don’t look like they’ve been wrung through a butthole), and the putting away of said clothes. On top of that, having to do it at a public laundromat and paying lots of money for it? Forgetaboutit, I’ll wear a trash bag. But life necessitates the inevitable cycle of wearing/soiling/washing clothes, so we all have to get down to it at one point or another. Thank god for Lucy’s, man. Tucked in a small corner strip mall, Lucy’s is the closest laundromat for a lot of us living in this area of Koreatownish. It’s clean and there are plenty of washing machines and dryers(in various capacities) available. I never have to wait for anything to free up. The washing costs about $ 2 a load, and drying is $.25 per 15 minutes. I am usually able to wash a month’s worth of clothes(don’t judge) for under $ 5, which includes drying. That is a steal! The best part? The sweet little attendant ladies serve oranges to you while you wait for your skivvies to dry! Need I say more?

Gross and expensive. One star, besides it being the minimum, for the attendant who was very patient and helped me figure out how to work the craptastic machines and explained to me with a pained look, yes, the laundry card costs $ 3(you pay $ 3 for the card which then has no money on it. wtf? Well I don’t need that because I’m never coming back to this dump). One star for the fantastic chicken taco I had at the truck out on 3rd and because their dryers are pretty good. I hadn’t done laundry in a minute(ok, at least a month), so rather than spend all day monopolizing my building’s 4-machine laundry room, I thought this would be more efficient. Well not when most of the machines are broken, «claimed», actually in use, or only take the rip off $ 3 card. Creepy leery guys loitering at the tables in front of the dvd rental place who were drinking ice teas but seemed drunk. I just washed the bin of clothes I’d brought in before I realized what a nightmare the place was, and then I got the heck out. For the sake of their future customers, I hope they use the $ 3 card money to buy some new washers. Apparently most of them leak, as there were towels folded on the floor in front of most of them. Niiiiiice. I felt so badly for the attendant who kept mopping up and down those aisles of leaky crappy washers over and over and over again.

Place is nice it has a DVD rental next door and also checked cashing place. Not bad for a Laundry mat. Prices for regular wash: $ 1.25 small wash $ 2.75 large wash $ 3.75 extra large wash $.25 dryer(12 mins) Prices for mega wash: $ 5.25 Mega load $ 4.95 Mega load(I don’t know what the difference is) $.25 dryer.(12 mins) Man it’s been awhile since I’ve been to the laundry mart. But today was a good day. Not busy! Parking available. Open washers and dryers. Don’t have to wait or fight for one. They sell detergent and other stuff for your needs if you don’t have any. But why would you not have any of you know your going here??? Unless your just traveling through town and needed your clothes washed. They also have arcade games for the kids to play, snacks and little riding truck to ride but it’s NOT free… Location is cool across you can grab pastries and coffee or eat Thai food or get your checks cashed even though they have one.

This place is dope for a laundrymat. They have: — tons of cheap vending machines — a little built in shop with laundry items such as softener, detergent, etc — Many change machines — Lots of cheap washers and dryers. — Games — Built inside is also a video store — And around the corner is an awesome taco truck! Even when you’re waiting for your washing or drying to be done, there’s always something to do! And they have this cool little Lucy’s card that you can load with cash so you don’t have to get change everytime. Awesome.

I like using Lucy’s. It’s not amazing and they do have machines out of order most of the time. But it’s decently priced. At least for drying which is all I do there since I can wash in my building for less and dry there for less. I save at least 50 cents a load that way. I can’t imagine most other laundromats being much better, especially in the area. It gets the job done and I have no real complaints about the place itself. Nuff said.

It’s your typical laundromat. You have your heavy duty commercial washers which are good for blankets and lots of heavy clothes. Then you have your regular top lid washers. Prices are just about the same as anywhere else. The heavy duty commercial washers run between $ 3.00−5.00(I think) and the regular washers are about $ 1.50? Weekends are usually packed during late afternoon, especially on Sundays. I suggest you take some quarters for the regular washers and dryers because some of the washers only take their«membership card». You can choose to buy the card for $ 3.00 and recharge at the station they have there or ask one of the employees to get a prepaid one.(still don’t understand the difference) All in all, if you have lots of laundry, I think it’s a big enough place to get it done here.

Pros: moderately sized, little coffee maker and snacks, tables to sit down at. Cons: dirty, several machines out of order, card machine wasn’t working, packed, safety questionable.
