Luis Noel Salon

I get my hair cut and colored with Luis and he is always very professional and friendly! I have curly hair and a lot of it. Finding a good hairstylist that can manage my hair has been a challenge.
I have done a lot of searching for that one hairstylist that «understands» my struggle when it comes to managing my beautiful yet difficult hair, Luis has been that hairstylist.
He takes direction well and also gives great suggestions. The salon is always clean and decorated. Going to Luis has become a family affair, my mother, aunt, and grandmother, we all go to Luis.
I highly recommend him.

Luis is the nicest, most accommodating stylist! I stumbled upon the salon while farmers market strolling one Saturday, and am glad I stopped by! He’s given me some great cuts, as well as very natural looking ombré. Luis listens to what I want and offers his expertise to create perfect results. He is also great to chat with. :) I even have my BF coming here! It’s been awhile, but Luis is my fave stylist in the area!

I would give it zero stars if I could! I called trying to make an appointment for eyebrow waxing and the person on the phone told me to call later, he seemed busy or something. I tried to leave my phone number so I could get a call back with their availability and he simply hung up the on me!!! UNBELIEVABLE! I called back thinking maybe the call dropped? And no, he hung up again. I mean if they can’t provide proper service over the phone and be polite to their customers why would I trust them with my hair? DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!

Elizabeth has been cutting my hair and waxing my eyebrows for over a decade — She also gives great facials. I highly recommend going to Elizabeth for a flawless haircut each and every time.

I’ve been coming to this little place for a few years now. I like that they have parking, that they take you most of the time the same day without appointment and that they offer you something to drink.
My last hairdut was with a knife/​razor blade: it has tons of texture, so I only need to put a little pomade and styled with my fingers and I’m ready to go. Elyzabeth really knows what to do even if you don’t when it comes to hair. I’m super happy with this cut. Once again 5 stars Elyzabeth!

I have been going to Luis Noël for at least four years of varying degrees of blondness and inspired haircuts. The atmosphere at the Salon mixes Noël’s Latino roots with Silver Lake culture; in other words, he never forfeits his true self for a trendy image but he blends his past with the present. He is the real deal: an artiste and a good person combined. Each time I go to the comfy salon (blaring music you can dance to), he dyes me and I come out feeling reborn. Because I rely on him to give my look – and my life – that extra oomph, I wind up writing more checks to Luis Noël Salon than I do to Sprint. Seriously, Luis and his team, including the luscious Liz, make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in (feeling drab and unkempt) to the moment you leave (feeling like Sunset Boulevard is your personal runway). Go once and you’ll keep coming back – for the laughter, the love, and the luxurious way you’ll be treated. Oh, an the occasional lunacy.

I love this place. Luis and Liz are great hairstylists. I been going here for years. They are always friendly. They use the best quality hair products leaving my hair looking FAB !!! I always recommended to all my friends and family! Will be visiting them every 3 months for my haircut !!!

Luis is a fantastic hair stylist. I went to him when my best friend recommended I go. She wandered in on a fluke, in need of a good cut, and was lucky enough to have wandered into Luis’ shop. I got brave and finally tried him. I did a color, cut, and style. Everything was better than I usually get at much pricer salons. He is very intuitive without the attitude. I have found my new hair salon. I’m going to get my husband to use their stylist who does men. I totally trust this place!

First visit was July 2011 for my first ever Brazilian blowout. My hair turned out great. Very easy to manage and style. Luis was really nice. He offered me a drink, I felt very comfortable. We chatted a little but he mostly just did his work. When we did talk, it was very nice convo… no gossip or pettiness.
Second visit was Dec 2011 for Brazilian blowout again. Great experience again. Can’t complain at all. Prices are very reasonable.
Third visit was late Dec 2011. Just wanted a touch up in the front for the Brazilian blowout. I was worried about going back because I didn’t want him to think that I was complaining or saying he didn’t do a good job. The chemical simply didn’t take around my hairline. So I went back and he was completely understanding. He reapplied the Brazilian to my hair line and blow-​dryed my hair. Again, very pleasant experience.
Would definitely recommend this salon to everyone. Staff is really nice and «normal». No attitude, no loud obnoxious «divas» working here… just nice people.

Luis has the magic touch ! I was going to this stylist who would cut my hair in a way that it would take forever to grow. Once I went to Luis and told him about this my hair started growing FAST ! I also got my Brazilian blowout with him and the treatment with Luis is AMAZING! No more «fly aways» and my hair always looks styled. The treatment takes a little time but, with Luis’ great personality it goes by quick. The prices are good and reasonable and the treatment you get is much better. There is also a lot of natural light so you an see what your hair style really looks like. There is FREE parking in the back. A friend found and referred him to another now, I have five friends that see him. That is how GOOD he is !

Carlos has moved from Silver Lake Studio to this new salon named Luis Noël. The shop is where another salon used to reside. It has a new owner, Luis. AND my fav hair-​do artist Carlos is working there. Please stop by and check it out. The interior is light and airy with good music. Carlos cannot be beat for his talent. Its directly across from Good Microbrew and there is off street parking behind the building. No this is not a scam, I am a real customer of Carlos!
