Lula Holistic Mini Spa

This place is such a gem — a tiny green oasis right off Glendale Blvd in Atwater. I saw Leanne for a facial ages ago and she was great, but today I had Kristen and she was equally lovely. I left the spa feeling incredibly relaxed and with glowing skin!

This is a very nice and intimate spa, Leanne is very genuine and knowledgable, definitely worth checking out.

I have been seeing Leanne for several years. Recently, she referred me to Kristen when Leanne wasn’t able to see me on the day I was available. Kristen was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable and gave me an awesome facial. Super relaxing and left my skin glowing. She also tweeted my brows and did a perfect job. So excited that I now have to solid «go-​tos» and my favorite pampering spot!

This is the most amazing facial place! I love the Dr. Alkaitis products too. They are so natural and Leanne says that they are even edible! My skin was glowing after our facial and she was so gentle that it has continued to improve weeks later! Amazing and worth the $!!!

I moved to the bay area and now have to find someone to replace Leanne. This sucks. My brows and lashes are still fairly dark even though she tinted them before Christmas (that’s about 5 weeks, folks). The drive to LA isn’t that long…

Her Skills, Touch, and Leanne’s Energy is Wonderful with a Capital W! My Skin feels & looks Incredible! Being a performer in the public eye, having Great Skin is a bonus! She also did Fantastic work on shaping my Eyebrows! My Face is Glowing from what she did with my skin, and from my Whole Experience at her Adorable, intimate spa!

Leann Lurie, Lula’s founder, owner, and sole aesthetician, has created a beautiful, comfortable space for her one-​room mini-​spa. What impressed me most, however, was how much she has thought about skin and its myriad conditions. For that reason, she uses the Dr. Alkaitis line of «skin food»; their motto is «If you can’t eat it, don’t put it on your skin.»
I never know what to make of claims about skin products. What I know from having a Lula facial and using the samples Leann provided that I like the way the gels and cremes feel on my face, their subtle scent is tantalizing, and they do what they’re supposed to – clean, tone and moisturize beautifully.
The cost of a Lula facial is comparable to other spas but given the very personal and caring treatment you get, it’s a bargain. Leann has intelligent answers to skin problems and I recommend Lula’s unconditionally.

If you need or want your make-​up done for an event, pictures or just for fun, Leanne is a true artist. The most worthwhile cost of my entire wedding last year was having Leanne do my make-​up. She made me look so beautiful and feel like a queen. That’s something every bride should experience. I appeared to have flawless skin without looking like a clown. In fact, you couldn’t even see any make-​up on my skin. Leanne is really calm and sweet and her energy relaxed me. Because she is so talented, I now go to her for facials and eyelash tinting. Her facials are beyond amazing. Eyelash tinting is the best because it makes my eyes stand out without having to wear mascara. Leanne does makeovers in her spa in Atwater Village and she also gives lessons. I can’t wait to have another special occasion to get my make-​up done, it’s such a treat!

I got a gift certificate for this place for Channukah and it was one of the best surprises I’ve had in years. I will never go anywhere else — Lula is one of the best spas I’ve ever been to — relaxing, tranquil, beautiful and well-​priced. Finally a perfect facial!
