Delicious. Unique. Kind. Comfortable. Inspiring. Interesting. A breath of fresh air. I can’t wait to go again.

I wasn’t too impressed with this place. There are much better places down 3rd. We had the Cacik as an appetizer. It was bland and wasn’t served with anything to eat it with. Just a bowl. Its a cucumber yogurt sauce meant for dipping. My girlfriend ordered the veggie sandwich which was blah. I ended up getting the soujuk ehmek sandwich(which wasn’t labeled as sausage even though every other item on the menu had a description of what was in it included the type of meat) and I hate sausage. They were kind enough to switch it out for a veggie sandwich. It took 15 minutes after our meal was done to get the receipt. Overall, the food wasn’t up to par. Plus the establishment itself had a strange odor to it. We ate outside which could have been cleaner. The staff was stylish and friendly, but overall I wasn’t impressed. It took 15 minutes after our meal was done to get the receipt.

Really slow service. I was disappointed with them. It took them 20 minutes for them to come and get our orders and missed up a lot.

I really want to like this place!!! They serve delicious healthy food in a laid back European atmosphere and all the people that work here are super nice… However, it takes FOREVER to get service, so not a good spot to grab a quick lunch on a work day. But if you aren’t starving and ok to wait awhile, this is a great place for a leisurely brunch or coffee.

One of the best places for breakfasts, if you like turkish food, then this is the place where you should be, We went there twice as the food was irresistible. We tried the turkish breakfast which had a selection of cheese, olives, jam, honey and some vegetables. Also we add the veggie omelette which was great, and the scrambled eggs called«shakshoka» which was amazing. Don’t miss the turkish tea and coffee.

The food here is great :) their hummus is on point, and their quinoa tabouleh is a great healthy gluten free spin, by substituting the burghul(cracked wheat). I also had their red lentil soup and it was very flavorful. their homemade lemonade is also delicious :) I would highly recommend this place.

You would think that coming here on a Sunday morning would mean better parking, but that’s definitely not the case. W. 3rd is a great place during the weekday during work hours when the neighborhood parking opens up for free 2 hour parking. Forget about the weekends! You really have to test your luck. Turkish Eggs(11.50) — Well done. Amazing flavors and textures. Turkish coffee(3.50) — a real treat with sugar and comes with a Turkish delight. MM Glozmele(~11) — We got the sausage and it was heavy, but tasty! Like a Turkish quesadilla; it was fun to share. Really enjoyed my meal with great company. This place is modest, friendly and authentic! I heard Turkish being spoken everywhere. That’s a good sign. Follow the people!

I want to start off by saying the food is fantastic and unlike anything else you’ll find at Mediterranean restaurants in LA. There were some unique items I hadn’t heard of before and the two times I’ve been here I’ve been amazed by the flavor and originality of the dishes. However, the service is what brings this place down a notch. Both times I have eaten dinner here, we waited 5 mins to get someone to take our drink order, and another 10 for our food order. When we came for dinner the second time it was an hour before closing and not a single other table was occupied. Still, the food took 25 mins to come out for the three of us, and we didn’t get our appetizer until after the entrees arrived! The kicker was when the waitress brought us our bill, she circled the 20% recommended tip amount that prints on the receipt and put a smiley face next to it. I can’t understand how someone would have the gall to do that. The waitress and kitchen staff were talking in the kitchen the whole time, and we only saw the waitress when she took our order and when she brought our bill(someone else brought the food to us, and even then we had to remind them of our appetizer and drinks!)

I heard so many great things about this new spot on 3rd St but unfortunately I’ll never know how great their menu is. You see, I went in the other day around 4pm and wanted to order something to go. There were about 4 tables with groups on them having lunch. I asked the girl behind the counter if I could see a menu so I can order to go and soon after she handed me the menu the chef told her there will be no food for 20 minutes. I guess they were changing menus to dinner time. All I really wanted was a sandwich but I was told to come back in 20 minutes. Really? You want me to go and stroll around many other restaurants on 3rd while starving and come back in 20 minuets? It’s just a sandwich, you can slap a few things together and take my money, it’s easy. But no! They told me they can’t make a quick meal and I had to come back. The food may be great, but I can’t say the same about the service. If a customer is standing there waiting to hand you money for a sandwich, take it and make the darn sandwich. You make $, I don’t starve and leave a mediocre review and we’re all happy. Maybe next time.

Great spot for breakfast and brunch. Super yummy food and great staff. I loved the Turkish tray of assorted cheeses and meats however it’s more of a side to share rather than a meal. You should try scrambled eggs w/bacon or the sunny side up with grilled halloumi cheese. Also the oatmeal with fruits is Turkish black tea and you’re good to go.

Absolutely delicious. My cousin and I ordered a Turkish breakfast, spicy sojuk gozleme, and salmon sandwich, all of which we shared. The breakfast was exquisite. I especially loved the olives. They were the best I’ve had in a long time. The spicy sojuk gozleme was incredible as well. Very, very filling. According to my cousin, the salmon was just okay. The service is decent. Not as attentive as someone who frequents American restaurants expects; it reminded me of service in Israeli restaurants, where the waiters don’t check on you but are happy to help once you’ve flagged them down. Really cute location and nice ambience.

Nice ambiance and nice staff. But the food was just ok. Not bad, but not great. We had a chicken sandwich and beef dumplings. They Did not meet our expectation, unfortunately. Looks like everyone was eating the Turkish Supreme Breakfast. Looked nice but wasn’t for us since we don’t eat cheese or cured meat. We were curious about their Doner sandwich. Maybe we’ll try that next time! This place is dog friendly. They brought a bowl of water for our dog, which was so kind of them.

Ordered lentil soup an hour before closing and had an annoying dining experience. The workers started cleaning up with customers still eating. One worker arranged my table without even saying anything, and another guy started sweeping next to me potentially getting dust on me and my food. When I left, my senses were slapped with a strong smell of bleach in the doorway. I’ll never come here again. .there are too many restaurants in Beverly grove to settle for this one.

Omg omg omg… I usually don’t like breakfast and this restaurant made me love it much more than lunch :) The service was absolutely amazing… The owner, the hostess and the waitresses were all so polite, friendly, and welcoming… The food was served warm and the service was amazingly quick… We ordered some sort of eggs and grilled cheese that came with a little salad and was so yummy and delicious and then we ordered the the most important and delicious meal there«the breakfast plate»… Please do yourself a favor and order the breakfast plate… It came with yummy bread and was good for two people… It had herbal goat cheese, feta cheese, cream, jam, honey, olives, tomatoes and cucumbers, and some salami and chicken pastrami… Everything was so good so delicious and both tea and coffee were amazing… They serve their coffee with Turkish sweet which was very good… I will definitely go there again

This place is a solid 4 stars. This is an authentic Turkish restaurant, at least that’s what my friends said. I’ve had Turkish food before and this place is pretty spot on. I came here for brunch with my friends and my other half and we shared most of the dishes. I had an omelette w/a side salad and the eggs were a little salty, but luckily I love salty food. Also, the dumplings were delicious with some yogurt. I loved the homey feel of the restaurant and the customer service was excellent. We even saw Hedo Turkoglu from the LA Clippers for all you basketball fans. *The parking can be difficult, but we were able to find parking on a parking meter. You can also valet your car as well or find street parking.

Delicious and authentic türkçe kahvalti(Turkish breakfast)! My girlfriend and I studied abroad in Istanbul for 4 months and were craving authentic Turkish food. We drove all the way from San Diego to try it and we weren’t disappointed! I highly recommend the feta and spinach gözleme. Everything was delicious, but that was particularly excellent. Çok tesukküler for the delicious food and Turkish hospitality!
