Fast, efficient, and cheap! She does it quick so it doesn’t hurt (as much). I usually am able to get same day appointments which is always a plus.

I was referred to Maryam through a friend. I had never had a bikini wax before, and I was really nervous about it. Maryam was so friendly and calming. She talked me through it and made sure I felt comfortable. She worked really fast to make sure it was as painless as possible.
I’ve been going to Maryam over a year now, and I really appreciate her. She’s always friendly, she usually accepts me if I call beforehand at the last minute, & she’s very sanitary (gloves & doesn’t double dip the sticks). She never takes longer than 15 minutes (25 if I get my eyebrows done too). There are signs for parking in the back, but I’ve always managed to find a spot on the street with one of the metered spots (25 cents for 15 minutes or credit cards).
Her shop is not fancy; you won’t get a spa treatment or anything, but it’s clean and Maryam’s really amazing. I highly recommend her.

Such a kind woman! Two parts to my review, the service and the person.
The Service: $ 30 without tip, fast = less pain, and comfortable. I usually get mine done at a place in Beverly hills with all the frills but, honestly, this place hurt less. Probably because she moves so quickly. It’s nothing fancy, but you’re in there for 10 minutes tops. Why do I need to feel like I’m in a spa? Plus the price can’t be beat.
Maryam: So sweet! My maps led me to Sherman Oaks (be careful copying and pasting the address from Unilocal) so I was around 30 minutes late, but she was so understanding and kind about it. I also did not bring cash and she let me leave and find a ATM, no problem. Setting up the appointment was extremely easy and flexible too. Just send her a text!

Just went and saw Maryam for my first time. She took me immediately with no appointment (but advises that I schedule one going forward). I never get waxes so I was a little nervous but she was very sweet and made me feel comfortable. Great price and super efficient. The least painful wax I’ve had by far, her technique is very good. Maryam is very accommodating in terms of scheduling appointments. She is fast, and the process was pretty painless. However, my experience here was not as thorough as my experiences at more expensive places. Butttt… I guess you get what you pay for.

Found my new westside waxing spot! Maryam was quick and she’s super clean! Never double dips and wax was completely painless. It was my first time and she was able to take me the same day! She’s super sweet and great at what she does! I’ll definitely be back for Brazilian waxing and anything else I need done.

Maryam works fast! so thankful she was able to fit me in last minute today. Quick work, no frills and sweet lady. If you’ve already gotten a brazilian before this might be the place for you! Tip: Park at Sprouts since she works so fast if not theres parking on the street before you enter the alley or if you want to take your chances at the cleaners. Cash only $ 25 bucks.

I’m in my mid 30’s and had never had a Brazilian until I was introduced to Maryam! I’ve been going to her for one year now :-) she’s fast, quick and gets down to business. She makes it her mission to be as painless as possible and I’m always happy to come back when it’s time for service. I highly recommend her.

This woman is such a gem! She guarantees great service, and is always going to make sure you leave happy.
I called last minute and she squeezed me in… Which I hear is her specialty! She got me a Brazilian and underarm wax for $ 35 and did a great job. Not only because she can wax well, but I have very thin hair so it’s difficult to get sometimes. She didn’t miss a hair!
Her salon is located in a little patio area in the back next to a hair remover place. She will do you well. And she is like a mom to everyone

Maryam is wonderful. Her salon is conveniently located. She is accommodating and her apartment is very affordable. She is fast and does the most painless Brazilians I’ve ever gotten. I’m so happy I found her and I plan on continuing to come to her for waxing. She also does hair and brows too — something to keep in mind!

Maryam always does a nice job with my Brazilian wax. She wears gloves and doesnt ever double-​dip… (Which is a super plus for me because my last lady did not use gloves and double dipped!!! The horror.) Anyways, She also works quickly, getting the job done so the torture isnt overbearing lol!
If you need a quick and affordable wax i highly recommend her. If you’re looking for some top of the line fancy pampering wax, this is not the place for you. It is also *cash only!*

I was able to come in 20 min after I called. Will definitely be coming back.

Always extremely nice and always makes room for you, even if you book an appointment last minute. She’s probably one of the fastest waxers I have ever met.
A lot of people are REALLY bad at waxing– they spill on you, get it on your lip, etc. But she has never done any of that and is always super professional.
I have never had a problem with her the last two times I have been there and will continue to keep going whenever I am in the area.

I have been at Maryams’ a few times, and I will keep going there. She is VERY fast and she does her job well. She is open to suggestions and she is friendly.
Most importantly, she does not overcharge!
I suggest you try her because I am very satisfied.
