Mission Workshop

This is a follow up from my review of the SF branch of Mission Workshop.
I purchased a limited edition waxed canvas messenger bag for my husband, planning to pick it up at the LA location (I typically spend my winter holidays in the area with family). They did not have it in stock in LA, but Darius and the team in SF overnighted it to the LA store at no charge to me.
Kris, the associate who works at this location, kept in touch with me via email throughout the day from the time the bag arrived at the store. I was mobbing around DTLA with my cousin, husband and sister and tried to remain vague about where we were going. I got to the shop at around 4pm. Not only did Kris have the bag ready for me, he added that if it ever needed repair or cleaning, I could take it either to them or up in SF and it would be taken care of.
I typically don’t hug people I don’t know (unless I’ve been drinking) but at that point, I was honestly pretty overwhelmed by the level of professionalism and amazing service I’d experienced at both locations, especially during a time of year where I would rather have Edward Scissorhands give me a Pap smear than have to deal with customer service. So thanks, Kris — for humoring my request for a hug, and for all your help.
Mission Workshop has some of the most helpful, laid-​back, honest folks working for them. Yes, these bags are pricey but after my experience here and the SF location, I’m happy to give them my money.

Great customer service and great products here. I didn’t feel pressured at all to buy something I didn’t want or need — Eric answered all my questions and was very knowledgable about the products. I ended up purchasing the R6 Arkiv Modular Field Pack and I will definitely be coming back soon to grab more of the Arkiv upgrades/​accessories!

Absolute positive experience. Ordered two previous purchases online from SF (loved both products and decided to go in to the LA shop (Finally) and check out the R6. Greg was there, very helpful and I pulled the trigger and got the bag (amazing) and a few accessories for the bag. Went home and played with it and ordered some more from the SF store cause the LA store didn’t have them. Anyways, went back to exchange and get some other accessories and Eric helped out with no problems at all. Friendly staff and awesome gear!

Finally! I’ve been waiting for an LA showroom. Came here to get a weatherproof cycling bag — ended up with the Sanction. Eric was super friendly, helpful and didn’t mind that it took me about an hour to decide on what to purchase.

Great show room, great product, great customer service (thank you Morgan for your patience).
I have done lots of research on my next EDC bag and Mission Workshop stood out to me over other brands.
It’s a California based company, and their product are made in the U.S. The fit and finish on all their products is 2^nd to none.
I decided to go with The VX Rummy Messenger bag and I couldn’t be any happier.
