Newberry Frozen Yogurt

Don’t waste your money, I consider myself a frozen yogurt connoisseur, and I decided to give this place a try since I was having lunch at Arby’s next door. I should have tried a sample cup, after filling up with strawberry, chocolate and straw/​banana (poor variety only 6 flavors), I added strawberries, blueberries and some chocolate candy. The first bite and I knew I made a bad choice, tasteless, almost bland in flavor, even the berries lacked tartness. How could you someone mess up frozen yogurt this badly? Almost $ 5 later, the only thing I ate was the chocolate candy. Skip this place and stick with yogurtland it’s by far my favorite and unmatched in quality. Thanks for reading!

Today was my first day that I tried this place. Maybe because of the time & day, but the server & cashier was not the friendliest in the world. I’m okay with that but the smoothie was atrocious. I didn’t know they used canned fruit until afterwards & while there was only two patrons there (myself included) and they still had my order (two smoothies) wrong.
I’ll try again –

The people who run this place are surly, mean and rude. When I asked for a sampler cup, the man at the counter took his sweet time to get a single cup from behind him and grudgingly hand it to me. Then he said, ‘pull the levers slowly’
And so I did make sure to pull the lever slowly when sampling the plain tart flavor, the yogurt shot out very quickly, the consistency was off and the taste was even stranger. It tasted literally like yogurt, but not in a good way. When I next tried the pomegranate flavor, I got a nasty shock as the yogurt, in completely liquid form, shot out from the dispenser and landed on my hand and feet. I was completely aghast.
When I pointed this out to the man at the counter, it was obvious that I had yogurt all over my hands, he didn’t even offer me any napkins, instead, he kept on insisting that it was my fault because I had pulled on the lever too quickly.
What a trip! I’ll never go back to this place. Best of luck to them.

I was so excited to try this place. I live so close by, so i really wish I would’ve liked it…
BUT they didn’t have plain tart and they have a very limited and sad selection of toppings (no blueberries, no raspberries?) i was so sad, I left empty handed.
Never again.

First of all, it’s not a night club! Why the hell would you blast euro techno trashy music from giant speakers? I’m sure the other tenants in the strip are getting annoyed as well. I mean, it’s only frozen yogurt! Don’t understand the music and how they are allowed to crank it so loud.
Call me a grandpa, I don’t care. It’s a old, worn out marketing tactic that is played out!
Here’s my review of the yogurt: it’s yogurt and it tastes like yogurt and I won’t go there again until they turn that music off. What a turn off.
