Been coming here I think this the fourth time. Food good but service slow, one lady does everything from being cashier, server, cleaner. She’s nice and apologetic. But I guess it’s worth waiting for. Value for your money. I give 5 stars for the food

Dry chicken, service was shit. And demanded a 25% tip… Did not even make any sense… Will never be back again…

My third time eating here, and it never disappoints. Tables and the general restaurant are clean, bright, and inviting. Service is always prompt and the quality of Phở is some of the best I’ve had.

Korean not Vietnamese. Asked for ginger with my Phở ga(chicken)and the server looked at me like I was crazy, overall the food and experience was just ok.

First and foremost, this place is owned by Koreans and caters to the Korean population around the area. Decorations and settings are in Korean. So don’t expect to have a Vietnamese culture experience at this restaurant. Its a clean place. Phở: I ordered the rare steak phở. The broth is typical such as any normal restaurant with phở. It suppose to comes with only rare sliced steak but i found quite a few pieces of brisket, which is a no no. This is the simplest bowl of phở. It served with bean sprouts, onions, cilantro. Cilantro is not needed and we are missing mints here. Mints are the must herb to serve with phở. Without them, phở will never taste as great. There are several other simple dishes. But overall, this should be 3 stars.

We were hungry late one night and we decided to get take out from this place. I can’t speak for ambiance or service but will comment on the food. The food was well packed and packed with care. No spillage here! Portions were very large and everything was hot, steaming, and delicious. I was overall very impressed and would come here again. Only down side was I felt we could have had a bit more basil with our soup but I just ate my husband’s so it ended well. I would come here again.

I came here with my fiancé for a late night dinner. We ordered two orders of the rare beef and brisket. Food was good as usual. We have been coming here for a while now and we have referred plenty of our friends to eat here. This is why we are giving this place 1 star… The server(older asian woman with short black hair) was incredibly nasty towards us and her attitude towards us as opposed to hers towards other diners led us to believe that she may be racist(we are both caucasian). Her attitude towards us was unwelcoming to say the least. She made snide remarks towards the way we prepared our food and made us feel guilty for asking to take the extra noodles that we ordered home. The menu clearly states that extra noodles are freely given on request and no where does it stipulate that these cannot be taken home. We are paying customers and I could not believe how we were treated. Very very offended. This will be the last time we ever eat here again. No more referrals!!! Ridiculous…

I’ve eaten at tons of different phở restaurants cz I live in k-town but this place is one of my favs! I love the huge portion sizes as well as their egg rolls. Rare Steak Phở is my hangover cure as well as blues cure. I hate the intersection but a quickie and consistent to-go makes my life so much easier!

Good food in a clean, modern, and simple space. I came to Noodles with some late dinner cravings. As it was already 22:30 the dinner crowd had left and I was able to find a parking space directly in the otherwise crowded lot. I helped myself to a table and ordered some chicken phở. The other diners seemed to be alternative/hipster 19 year olds out on a date. Weird. Anyway, th phở was fresh and delicious. Several choices for spice, including the classic sriracha, kept me satisfied :) Server was mostly out of my way, but she was direct and not unfriendly. Exactly how I like it. Would come back soon as long as I don’t have to deal with parking chaos.

I can write an essay on how bad this place is and how bad my experience was but i’ll keep it short and simple until one day I might feel like writing more about it… Service was Horrible Server was RUDE Food was BLAND Everything is EXPENSIVE The server ran after us demanding more tip!!! Don’t waste your time or money on this place! The only reason why we tried this place out is because we were craving phở at 12AM but NEVERAGAIN! We took the drive from West Covina & City of Industry and were beyond disappointed & disrespected! Unilocal really needs to make a NOSTAR rating. because that’s what this place truly deserves.

This was our first time! Chose this place due to time, phở, and decent reviews. The place was very cute and modern. We showed up on a Saturday some time around 11−12pm. I can’t remember from all of the walking we did. There was 7 of us. The restaurant had only two other tables dining in when we arrived. We informed the ajumma that we would need separate checks to which she acknowledged. We all took our order and received our food in a timely manner. The only reason why I gave this place 2 stars was because the phở broth wasn’t bad for Koreans executing Vietnamese cuisine. The veggies were rather old which was disappointing. We all got our food on time, but my sisters didn’t get their shakes until the end of our meal. It was a mediocre experience to us with some negative things. Here is the kicker. As we went up to pay. We each had our separate checks which she made no mistakes on. My sister’s friend payed first. She was giving her enough money to cover the cost of the food with change leftover. She told ajumma to just keep the change.(Let me remind you that we’re used to leaving tip money on the table.) The ajumma demanded her to tip her. She said you only leave $ 0.90 cent tip? No no. Tip! My sister’s friend had already left $ 2 on the table on a $ 9.10 tab. She gets irritated so she tips her $ 2 more. I told her not to. But she couldn’t believe her ears and became irritated with ajumma. Same thing happens to my sister-in-law. I’m furious at this point. Never in my life have I ever been demanded to tip. Ever! For the record. I always do no matter what! Ajumma forgets about my sister’s to go meal. And we had to wait for it to be finished cooking. So my sister went back to pay. And then ajumma accused my sister-in-law(who payed before me) that she didn’t pay for her tab and only payed $ 2. Bruh. That was the tip money you surely didn’t deserve after the way you treated us. So my sister goes back in and tells her. She then apologizes and said she was overwhelmed by there being 7 of us. There is no and I mean no excuse for your actions that night. We each planned on tipping you and already did tip you until you were bold enough to ask for(in our eyes) more money. We were not rude, impatient nor impolite in any manner. We all had carefree attitudes and were thankful for some phở at that time of night. There was nothing overwhelming about our process. As I stated before. Everything came out at a timely manner except for the shakes. She even had the checks correct. So idk why that was the excuse she used. Such a disappointment. Ugh. She left us going back to our hotel bitter and upset.

Went here for lunch and it was completely empty. The service was nice and fast, but then again we were the only people there. The place was clean though, cleaner than most phở places I’ve seen. I came here with low expectation as I don’t prefer phở outside the 626, but you know when you have a craving you have to take what you can get. The phở itself wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t good either. The broth was sort of bland and the meat was on the smaller portion size. However, they did give a hefty amount of noodles though. We also got an order of the fried egg rolls and that was average too. The egg rolls themselves were ok but the fish sauce was kind of bland, which is really surprising. I don’t think I will come back here, but at least it was a decent price.

After a night of adventure all over LA county, we ended up in Koreatown. We were craving phở, so here we came. It was a good choice. This place is in a shopping plaza, and parking was not an issue. We walked right in, and it was a bit warm inside. Still, the place is clean and well decorated. They have K-Pop music videos playing on a large TV. The waitress took our order, and we were chowing down within minutes. I had the rare-steak and brisket phở, which was pretty good. I was done drinking for the night, so I just had a glass of water. I’ll try some of their coffees and teas and next time I swing by. This place is worth a shot.

Very good phở place. About $ 2.00 more than your typical phở place but is worth it. You get a big bowl of phở. One size. Broth is bomb! Sweet staff. Very clean. Nice atmosphere. I went around 1am so it was pretty quiet and not packed. This place is very good I will definitely be back.

Phở is average. The spring rolls are not true authentic spring rolls. They are lettuce rolls to be more appropriate as that’s what they mostly comprise. Restaurant is very clean and nice quiet atmosphere on the other hand which is a plus… Although I’m not sure if it’s empty because 7pm is too early or what I’m more afraid of… the food is not really up to par!

Hmmmm was a bit hesitant to try a Korean owned phở place, but what the heck I was in the area and hangry! Has the traditional menu served at phở restaurants(phở, spring rolls, make your own spring rolls, fried rice) and some Korean dishes. The phở prices here are a bit steep $ 8.75−10, but what do you expect in LA really. It wasn’t listed as a type of phở you could get, but I just ordered the rare steak with tendon since I’m not into tripe/brisket/meatballs. The broth is very clean tasting, but being Vietnamese, there is definitely something missing… Just don’t know what maybe some more raw fish sauce in there. The brisket is on the dry side… But on the other hand, I gotta hand it to them… They definitely have the best tendon I have ever had at a phở restaurant. This tendon actually reminds me of what my mom usually makes for me. It’s extremely soft and just melts in your mouth. All in all, this spot is a pretty good alternative for me if I don’t want to drive all the way to the oc or home. Service was very quick and by quick I mean you’ll get your food in less than 5 minutes :) oh and this place is open until 2 am if you ever have the late night munchies like me!

Noodles is THE place in Ktown to get phở! At first glance, the prices are about $ 1.50−2 more than I would normally pay but it’s because the portion sizes are HUGE. If you order a fried egg roll and one order of phở, it would probably be enough food for 2 people. Noodles serves ox tail phở. It was the first time I’ve ever had it and it was great! They serve a very generous amount of the ox tail meat in a separate bowl filled with greasy broth, and freshly cut green and white onions. It was soooooo good and helped fight the hang over. The restaurant is very clean, servers are nice, and they don’t skimp on sides of onions and cilantro. I can’t wait to return to try the make-your-own wraps. It’s about $ 20 for a ton of fresh veggies and meat but supposedly one order is enough to feed 2.

FYI: I was really drunk when I came here… I really wanted to go to Phở Saigon but they were closed so I just settled for here because they were open until two. The place was clean and very bright with only one nice lady working. My boyfriend and I shared one rare steak, extra noodles, and egg rolls. I swear… The noodles came out in less than two minutes. When I started eating I noticed the noodles were still undercooked and very hard. I told the lady and all she did was give us some more hot broth? The phở was honestly watered down and no flavor at all. The meat was very dry and tough also. Finally the egg rolls came. They were aight. But they were HOTASFUH! I burned the roof of my mouth and my boyfriend literally burned a hole on his tongue. I know our faults for being drunk. I don’t think I’ll be returning because you can’t mess up phở when someone’s drunk and willing to eat anything.
