I LOVE Oak. They have great pieces as well as everyday things. The price point can be very reasonable as well. Theres is ample parking too. They also have a great online shopping site.

Each time I’ve been to OAK it’s been a pleasure. The level of attentiveness with staff has been wonderful and they’ve even watched my puppy while I used the changing rooms.
I highly recommend a stop in and s a l e times are key.

I feel like the people who work here must have read the first review, because I stopped in the other day and was overwhelmed with friendly, attentive service not usually characteristic of this cooler-​than-​thou boutique. I shopped at the Williamsburg, Brooklyn location for years and always found the customer service to my liking. That is to say, pleasant enough without being overly hands-​on. The staff at the Beverly boutique basically became my best friends by the time I was done trying on almost all of the clothing. Be warned– the type of apparel stocked by Oak isn’t for everyone. It’s like what you imagine Belgian DJs wear to the opening at the local art gallery that most people think is a Korean Church. Lots of unisex, asymmetrical hooded things, mostly in black, white, or shades between the two. Girl With the Dragon Tattoo comes to mind, except there’s not a portland-​steampunk-​earplugs vibe going on. Even though it’s not my style exactly, I’ve bought a lot of stuff here that I end up wearing forever.
What really rules about this place though, are the sales. They routinely have house-​clearing, extra-​50-​percent-​off craziness that awards you incredibly stylish, well made clothes at a fraction of what you would pay on Gilt or any big-​name retailer (Am I crazy or am I constantly bombarded by advertisements for sales in the 20% off range that I’m supposed to get excited about). At Oak, I found a 1K leather motorcycle jacket for $ 120. The staff here tipped me off to the discount, which was the result of a price-​matching thing they had going on with the website.
Also, great perfume and sunglasses here. I’ll be back.

I love shopping here! Me and my girlfriends are always finding great things and the staff is always so helpful and courteous. The overall aesthetic of the place is to die for and there is free parking. I. Love. It!

Horrified.
Brought a friend here today after I had told him about the store. He was shopping with intention but the staff could NOT have been LESS interested.
It really doesn’t matter how cool your merchandise is or how cool you think YOU are, you still have actually assist clients. Employees here moved around the store in only in a group of three… although if they installed a self-​checkout, I guess they wouldn’t need to change the way they run the store.
