I had initially gotten a referral to organic Culinary Arts from a friend, who had been taken through a detox program here and had great things to say. I’m a professional chef and know food, but realized that I needed to up the ante for my vegan and vegetarian clients, also those who wanted to focus on detoxifying menus. In fact, she helped me create really inventive menus for some of my clients that had very specific dietary needs. When you cook for someone, you want to make sure to keep the menus interesting and fresh so that they’re not eating the same food every day. I got some great ideas from Gisselle. I took some workshops and also some private sessions with Gisselle, who owns and runs O.C.A. Whoa, did I get quite an education in «food as medicine» which, in my opinion, is the best preventative measure you can take for your health. And if you have kids, she will teach them the basics of healthy cooking — I LOVE this! Starts your kids eating healthy at a young age and allow them to have fun making their own kid-friendly food. Gisselle made our workshops/sessions really fun and engaging — she’s got a glowing personality and is actually really funny! If you want to learn how to prepare the best food for your health, that’s actually really delicious, this is your best bet.
