I had an awful experience here. The optometrist, Dr. Son seemed competent himself, thought the exam did not feel thorough. And when I remarked about some concerns, he brushed me off saying that he didn’t take my insurance for those kinds of exams and I’d need to see someone else. Great touch!
The really bad experience came with my glasses. I chose a pair, and it took a month for them to get it ready. When i get them, there is a clear white line around the edges where the lens sits in the frame, making me look like a damn racoon. When I complain, they deny any problem. Then they say I’ll have to pay more to get the edges «rolled» — which i’ve never heard of before.
But i get it back, and though less prominent, the white edge is visible. When I wear the glasses, i can see shiny reflections along the lower and upper edge. But again they deny any problem and say i just need to get used to it. I tried wearing them once or twice and I get a headache. Today for the first time i wear them to work, and the lower edge of my glasses is reflecting images of my computer screen. If i glance down at my keyboard, i get a line of refracted light, in shades of blue. I don’t even know what I can do.
