I work at the south tower. I prefer walking out of the building to get my lunch. The last few days have been raining so I decided to head down to the basement. Bibimbap was soo delicious and cheap! I am going back tmw, rain or shine !

I’ve only ever come here for breakfast. 1) super friendly staff. 2) I love watching the little old korean lady meticulously cut up the fruit for the day. 3) it only took me two visits until the guy behind the deli counter remembered my order(onion bagel and cream cheese) 4) the breakfast burritos leave a little to be desired… a sprinkle of salt maybe?

I dont really know much about this place other than that the owners were really nice people. I went there with a neighbor and she bought a salad and after it was weighed out it cost $ 13!.. which would have been ok if it was a big salad but it wasnt. If i may add, the salad items were very fresh and appealing to the senses. I just wouldnt pay that much for a salad… and im vegetarian!

I’m reviewing their lunch catering service. I work in the south tower of the plaza and I go down to food court and post office all the time, but I’ve never been tempted to try try their lunches. But recently, my office ordered a big sandwich platter from them and we were all pleased with the food. Pam’s sent up a platter of rolled up slices of turkey, roast beef, ham and chicken(I think). They also had various slices of cheese and a nice variety of breads to build your own sandwich. My favorite bread was the jalapeño and cheese ciabatta, which is awesome if you toast it a little. Pam’s included containers of mayo and mustard, sliced pickles, tomatoes and lettuce to top things off. They also had a decent salad with tomatoes, olives, croutons hard boiled eggs and a few basic dressings to choose from. For dessert, they had a plate of cookies which weren’t bad. Overall, the food was surprisingly good. It was presented nicely and it included plenty of plastic utensils, tongs and serving spoons for us to use. I’d be happy to order lunch from Pam’s again in the future.

Had lunch ordered from here and my sandwich was not fresh at all. I had the Reuben sandwich and it wasn’t grilled. It was toasted with the normal things. I ate a few bites and couldn’t eat the rest. About an hour later i wasn’t feeling well. I like support mom and pop shops but this time it was a disappointment.

Revenge of Roast Beef. Unless you need coffee, soda or some other prepacked food stay away from this place. The worst sandwhich, every single ingrediant was past its prime; and I felt it. You’ve been warned — stay away

Okay, I had the Italian sandwich, which was nothing exciting. But I was on my way out of the post office and for some reason, I smelled mortadella and thought, «Hum, a mortadella sandwich sounds about right for lunch.» Went in, got it. .. and I must say, «if» they had a specialty bread, this sandwich may have been better; but it wasn’t, nor is it anything to rave about, so therefore I won’t. I think they could do their sandwiches with a lil more flare. .. or at least the guy who made my sandwich could have had a personality, if anything. If I were to have a sandwich shop, I’d at least get clientele to come back based on my personality. I say blah to my sandwich. I can make a better one at home for less, OR if I drove into work, I’d go to Eastside Market Italian Deli, now they do a sandwich justice.

It’s like a liquor store. If a liquor store had a deli in it. I think it’s the really dim, depressing lighting in here. Dunno. My minion and I ate here last week for the first time. I had the roast beef on wheat, and he had a ham sandwich on white. The food was alright. Nothing special. Each sandwich was around 5.50(I think). They use shredded lettuce in the sandwich which I removed. I prefer slices of crisp lettuce, probably because it reminds me of cafeteria food when it’s shredded. We forgot to tell the sandwich man to toast the bread! Ahh! The sandwiches aren’t terribly bad, but I would rather go to trimana than Pam’s. We ate at the tables right outside of Pam’s and it was kinda weird staring at post office boxes while eating lunch. P. S. It’s next to the Post Office.

I gave in and ate here again today. I had to go to the post office next door so I stopped in for a sandwich. The guy who runs the sandwich counter is pretty old-school. He doesn’t mess around. I would even call him a sandwich artist. He looked very annoyed when someone(the owner?) came over and rummaged for some pickles for party tray she was setting up. She wanted to take the container but he wouldn’t let her so she awkwardly had to take out about 5 big pickles to slice with her bare hands. Um… Over the years, this little store started carrying Korean food. A small sign hung over the hot vats wedged between the salad bar(which actually looks better now) and the deli counter. It always smells okay but once you eyeball the stuff, your stomach turns. None of it is recognizable as «Korean» to me though there is a rather strong smell of kimchi in the air. I just don’t think Korean food has anything that looks like beef stew. Lumpy brown gravy and the like. So I got an Italian sub today. The bread could be better. I’m so used to eating hearty grain breads that the white bread was rather tasteless. But a healthy dose of carefully spread mustard from the Sandwich Artist made it edible along with my beloved mortadella. There’s a few tables inside though you might want to carry it to the more congested food court area to sit with the office peons or outside even by the big fountain. The deli also carries lots of necessities(though no more Haagen Das bars, damn them) including yogurt, big bags of chips, clamshells of fruit, bad overpriced wine and things of that nature in case you didn’t want to run to an actual supermarket. There’s a credit card minimum of $ 10 so I paid for my $ 5.99(plus tax) sandwich in cash.
