Horrible food that’s so unhealthy I get immediate stomach cramps before even finishing. But why do I keep coming back? Still giving this place 2 stars but I guess there’s something good about their orange chicken. I also like their walnut shrimp and occasionally, their broccoli beef. At least the panda on campus is fast and you can get a fast food experience on campus, right? Who has time to wait 5 mins for a BBQ pizza or another 5 for your burger at The Habit. I’m kidding. But panda will always be a love/hate relationship for me. PS: Cook your noodles to be softer! Why’re they so hard and uncooked all the time…

Portion was small, taste is usually bland. And for some reason noodles at this location are always stale. Also, be aware if you use Tapingo. I use Tapingo for the Starbucks on campus and it works great so I figured why not use it with Panda. When Tapingo told me my food is ready, I went to Panda, and they haven’t even started with my food yet. Had to ask two employees for my food, then waited for them to finish with other people waiting in line, then they finally gave me my box. Um, isn’t the whole point of using this app to save me some time?

Disclaimer: l present this review as a generally big fan & proponent of Panda Express. Its not authentic or healthy, but that’s not why you go there anyway. That being said, this is by far the worst Panda Express I’ve ever been to. The boxes are smaller than typical Panda Express boxes & they hardly fill it up. Somehow the food always tastes stale, even when you see it come out fresh. They also have way fewer entrée options than a typical Panda Express. Don’t even think of coming during the mad dash for lunch(noon — 1:30pm). The line goes almost our to door of the food court. It’s not worth it. Unfortunately, as a student, this is one of the only relatively cheap & convenient options on campus, so you end up going here more than you want to. I know that Panda Express on college campuses tend to be a little worse than the full restaurants, but I’ve been to different Pandas on at least 4 different campuses, &USC’s is by far the worst. Step in up, administration.

The only reason I like this panda it’s because it’s open really late. The food is as good as any other panda express. I hate their parking lot. It is so small and there is never any parking. Even if you try to park in the streets, there won’t be any parking. You just have to wait for someone to leave. I do like the fact they have indoor and outdoor dining. Everytime I come here there is always a long ass line. I tried something different this time. I thought to myself I would save a lot of time and avoid the line. I called ahead and they took my order. They told me to skip the line and go to the cashier when I go pick up my order. I was excited. It was the first time I called to place my order so I was happy I was just going to get my food and leave. When I go there there was a long line as always. I went to the cashier and she was assisting another custmer. So I didn’t want to be rude. She didn’t even stare at me, but I waited patiently. When she was done attending the customer she went ahead and attended the next one. Didn’t she see me standing there? Okay, it’s cool. No problem I still stood there and waited. Until she attended 3 customers she asked me, Phone order? I told her yes. She asked for my name. Then she told the staff if my order was ready. It wasn’t. Instead of making it right away. They continued to assist the customers in line and like literally 8 people after they started to make my plates. I think it turned out worst. It was like waiting in line but this time I was standing there like an idiot. Finally got my food when I noticed that the last person that was standing in line when I arrived was about to pay as well. Well that was disappionting! Oh and to kick it off, when I got home and opened my plate. There was hardly any food. It was like 4 pieces of orange chicken and hardy any rice or chowmien.

The worst Panda Express. I am actually curious if there’s any serious quality & process control for the Panda Express company. Take one simple example, this joint on campus is significantly worse than the Panda Express on Figueroa not so far. The rice quality is questionable. Sometimes it is too soft to make fried-rice as the rice sticks together and tastes awful. The meat entrees are too dry. Of course there’s always the portion issue like so many reviewers mentioned. Anyway, this Panda takes the best spot of the food court and has no problem in finding customers. But it can do much better.

This is one of the worst Panda Expresses I’ve ever been to. The staff is so stingy on portions– when I got a single portion of honey walnut shrimp(see photo), they only gave me a few pieces and it cost me $ 7! This Panda is conveniently located on the USC campus, but it’s a huge rip-off. The line is usually overflowing out the door, too.

I am a graduate student at USC but also work on another campus that has a Panda. I can say for a fact that the other Panda offers way better service and gives much bigger portions. The Panda employees at USC act like machines. If you ask a question or do anything other than say«Orange Chicken» or hand them your credit card they will IGNOREYOU.

Oh dear. Please, not the panda. This place represents everything that’s wrong with food courts. and with America. The excessive grease. The cultural appropriation. The nausea and potential food poisoning that ensues. The general blandness. The sweet and sour flavor engineered specifically to satiate the desires of white men who can’t handle spice. It’s nasty, but it’s edible. What more did you expect?

The price will be great if you use the coupon and your USCard to reduce the tax. But I’ll never recommend people to take Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef together. It will be too sweat to eat.

This is possibly the worst Panda Express on the planet. They literally give you no food and charge you more than all other Panda’s and simply because its on the USC campus. Every time I roll into the food commons all I smell is the red chili pepper they use in their dishes. The staff here is rude too so do yourself a favor and just stay away.

Oy vey. I just saw one worker here picked up a piece of fish dropped to the floor and put it back into the food tray. Hard to imagine if there is anything else in what I have just eaten

The best of the fast food options in the campus center in my opinion. It’s great because they have two lines so they can serve you faster when it gets really busy. I like to get the Panda bowl with vegetables and then put one of the entrée dishes on top, it’s a good amount of food. You have to ask the lady at the register for chopsticks but they usually give you a fortune cookie!

This is fast food on a college campus. Very solid meal for that crowd and atmosphere. You get the standard minimal menu prepared ahead of time but tasty enough for the person who either can’t afford more or doesn’t have time to go further off campus. Often a peanut better would be better but that would mean extra prep time before class.

Yup, this place is a s***hole. I admit I’ve come back a few times for the Beijing beef, but the food really is garbage. Most of my friends that have eaten here before tell me that they’ve gotten sick from the food. The other day, I picked up some Chow Mein, Beijing Beef, and White Rice, and when I was mixing it up, I found this bad boy: I’ve got a shaved head, and the guy that served up my food didn’t have hair either, so I’m guessing that piece of hair came from the kitchen and was marinating in the rice for a while. haha i wonder how many people that don’t pay attention have eaten a side order of hair over here. If you see me eating here, punch me in my face!
