The portions are 90% vegetables and 10% meat. Their portions of meat are significantly worse in quantity and quality compared to panda express, and that’s sad. I got the orange chicken and literally most of what’s inside the batter is just chicken skin/​fat or more batter. There was VERY little actual chicken inside the orange chicken. I also got the spicy jalapeño chicken and it tasted good but literally 90% of the serving was jalapeños and peppers rather than chicken.
Very unfortunate.

Cane here with some co-​workers because he likes anything cheap. At first glance I was worried about getting sick because it’s a pretty run-​down and needs WORK! the food was ok but I think the «décor» ruined it for me. I’ll pass on this place especially since there was no health department rating on the front window.

Old school NYC/​SF style spot… the chinese food place inside grand central market dont got no orange chicken? Trippin. Walked a block to this place, flavor was chinese af. Exactly what you expect. And it’s leff than 4 bucks for a 1 item combo. 2 full meals for under $ 7, yee.

One of the worst Chinese food place I have eaten. The Orange chicken is nasty the noodles were old and tasted funny the other food looked old as well. It was hot and nasty inside no air conditioner inside. Some guy walked in wanted a cup of water and they charged 25 cents come on man who charges for water smh never going back.

Fantastic food for super cheap! The owner and his wife are incredibly sweet and super helpful. Had a great experience here!

My co-​workers and I finally ate here last night after months of talking about it.
This is cheap food made by people who don’t care for people who don’t care.
They use a brilliant dynamic-​pricing scheme. The price goes down during the day as the food gets older. The one-​item combo was only 3.28 plus tax last night. Everything looked and tasted like it was made at lunch and left out all day. The «vegetables» in the kung pao chicken were completely limp and flavorless.
The food did not suffer from the typical problems of being way too salty and having too much MSG, but it was still bad. It’s like eating reheated Panda Express from three days ago.
No one got sick, but we were pretty worried about it.

I have been eating a Panda King for the last 4 – 5 years and they never disappoint. My mom owns a business in the area, so i know good quality for and its its good quality food for a decent price.
I usually stick to usual half and half with rice and cho mein with orange chicken. plus a egg roll and a drink

very tasty chinese food, the rice and cho mein wasnt too salty. I say that because so many of these restaurants just pour on the salt, but this wasent the case.
Service:
Its really good service, everytime i come in, the owner and his wife welcome me with a smile and they speak to me in chinese and I try and pick up a few words.
Pros:
great food that is affordable, I mean i weight 240 ibs and one plate fills me up all day and I spend less than $ 5
Cons:
Cant really think of any yet… lol

Disgusting. The Orange Chicken is way too sweet and mealy, the noodles lack flavor. The terayaki chicken was OK, but something from this restaurant – probably the orange chicken – literally made me vomit later that night. LA is full of cheap Chinese food, so find someplace else.

They are a mom and pop store… really good people

they have the best spicy chicken or kungpoa … BOMB with rice and chow mein
teriyaki chickens good too … ps ask for the teriyaki sauce from the ribs sooooo GOOOD for it’s price
