Ok Service! Food sucks! I tried their chicken soup with grilled chicken almost $ 15 dollars! Soup was just boiled water with lots & I mean LOTS! of chiken bullion way too salty. The chicken had that terrible taste, like when its been precooked for many many days in advance. Sorry, but I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Crappy restaurant dont go here. I bought a chicken soup for $ 12 that was completely horrible!

I ordered food from this place but I did not taste that well. food was too greasy I ordered a quesadilla (Mexican style) the only good thing is that they do free delivery with the purchase of $ 10 and up… 2 stars for that

Worst place to eat and be entertained. Food is overpriced and not good at all. Mixed drinks are garbage I can make those at home nothing special. Restrooms are filthy I saw a dead roach underneath the sink. Please I strongly recommend do not eat here go elsewhere there are plenty more local BETTER restaurants. Too bad I didn’t use the restroom when I first got there because I would not have ate there if I would have seen the dead roach. Place is disgusting! I will report this incident to County of Los Angeles Public Health. I have Date, Time, Pics, and Receipt to show proove.

This app doesn’t give 0* or –5 because this place really deserves it, HOPE YOU READ MY REVIEW AND SAVE SOME DISGUSTING TIME, I’m not picky at all I clarify that, the whole thing was a little awkward. I was rushing to cash a check so I dropped my wife at the restaurant to order supposedly two decent healthy meals. So we ordered pollo guizado ($ 13) and mojarra ($ 14). Cost of frozen Mojarra about 99 cents per lb. The chicken was not worth more than $ 7 a plate and the fish was a tiny little thing, probably lb and a half or less. The fish smelled and right after we ate, we experienced a stomachache. Including two coffees, I ended up paying $ 42 receipt value plus $ 4 tip because it’s not the waitress fault. We noticed that it was weird that no one else was ordering nothing but beer buckets and chips and salsa that were free. I was with my daughter, who has diabetes type 1, and I’m trying not to use sugar so i asked for splenda which they didn’t have. They only had regular sugar. With $ 42 for two meals, you can have a much better lunch time at any Olive Garden, Chili’s, or any other Mediterranean restaurant and have at decent nice meal and splenda for your coffee.

What happened to this place? Back in the day they gave you alot for a tiny price. Now it’s the opposite. The quality and entertainment is still the same. But this is L.A. I can find that anywhere.

I love this place– the price is right, the food is delicious, the family that runs it is amazingly friendly. Great murals. Highly recommend.

I would give it no stars if I could. I had a shrimp cocktail. I specifically asked if the shrimp were large and the lady said if you want large I’ll give you large. So I get it and it’s the baby shrimp. Really? Did she really think I was going to think those were large. Anyways, $ 13 for a Shrimp cocktail with 10 tiny shrimps filled with tomatoes and onions. Bad service, Bad food, dirty restaurant. Don’t event try. YuKkk!!!

Came during the lunch hour. The worst pupusa I’ve had in my entire life (dry, bland, burnt and not in a good way). And I’ve had many. The Curtido is ok but the red salsa tastes like they took a can of Heinz tomato sauce and added some water to dilute it. And that’s probably exactly what they did. At 2.50 a pop, it’s a disgrace. So sorry to speak negatively of a Salvadoran restaurant (I’m Salvadoran myself). Won’t be coming back.

LAME! I had heard about this place from other locals so i decided to swing by recently and I wasn’t impressed at all. Its a little over priced for such plain food. It really had an indifferent taste, and the drinks were a total fail. A tamarind drink tasted like tap water and a «margarita» we ordered was more of a smoothie with a taste of cheap liquor. Not good at all. I honestly don’t see myself coming here again.

Came in expecting a decent meal! The service was inadequate we had asked for extra order of tortillas they never brought them! The pupusas were stale and undercooked! The chips seemed very old with no taste! Bathrooms were very dirty and too spendy!

The food was ok. I would pass if you appreciate taste. We ordered a chicken plate and a burrito. The chicken was dry and the burrito had very little chicken in it.

As a child I remember my mother bringing me to this place and enjoying their great food an atmosphere and I have to say through what I experienced today I am deeply disappointed in the service and quality of the food of this location. I’ve noticed a couple changes not only the prices that have incredibly increased but also how the atmosphere here is not the same and wow I have never paid $ 10 for 3 pupusas RIDICULOUS and also I waited 10 minutes for my order and when I went to dig in one of them wasn’t fully cooked. That was my final straw.

The Pupusas are great! And the men singing karaōke are entertaining. Nice place. Muchos borrachos though!

So I went to this Restaurant on Saturday. I was in the area and hubby and I walked in for a few drinks. All we wanted was a few beers, and somewhere to hang out for a bit. We walked in, they have a big stage in the corner, there was a Spanish band playing some pretty good music, so we decided to stay. So we ordered a beer and a frozen Pina Colada drink. I was taken back by what the waitress brought me. She brought my Pina Colada drink in a plastic wine glass with the price tag still attached on the bottom. So, I was like, OK, whatever. But then it tasted like they made it in back with a frozen mix, like what you make at home.
But the worse part was when the hubby and I asked for our bill 30 mins later. It should have been $ 11.00, for two drinks. Ha! It was $ 31.00!
We were outraged! We asked the waitress’s, WHY? She said, «Oh, there is a $ 10.00 a piece cover charge to be here» I was said «Huh»??? NO WHERE does it say that… NO WHERE! Even the security guard that opened the door for us, DID NOT say anything, nor did she when she took our order. Unbelievable!
Please know fellow Unilocalers, This place is a RIP OFF!

Good food but the Karaōke is way too loud. You can’t enjoy the food at all let alone the conversation

What could be better than a good burrito combo with a drink and nachos for $ 4.35? A good burrito combo with a drink and nachos for $ 4.35 served by a beautiful waitress! Burrito specials, they are the reason for my existence. And this place is perfect for that. It’s painted bright blue, got a good amount of space inside, and has parking.
I always try to order the lengua one. They never have it. Then I order the cabeza one, and it’s very tasty, a good size, with rice and beans and cabeza meat. It also comes with some condiments, and a small basket of very tasty nachos. I think I secretly go here for the nachos.
Believe it or not, it also comes with a drink/​soda, you can choose from like Jamaica, Tamarind, Horchata, etc. I always try a different colored one each time, and they’ve all been good.
The two waitresses that work here are gorgeous. Especially one of them. If I were a dude I would have definitely asked her out. Although she looks about in her 20’s so her kids much be in high school. Nonetheless, she’s just my type of Latina. Cute body with tight clothes, hair pulled back, and really pretty. Go check them out.

99¢ papusas! Can’t be that. Queso con Loroco. Fresh and hot. Also they make one of the best tamarindos I have tasted in a long time. Most definitely not that stuff from powder. The real Macoy. I always get it to go. The Karaōke if far too much. Way too loud, not to mention the tone deafness from some of the singers. But call ahead and pick it up and you’ll be fine.

I am from Mexico, raised here all my life. first time at this place, the food was great we loved it! heard 2 comedian, and loved it. our heart was on seeing our «Los Freddy’s» which they lied!!! I CALL IT FRAUD. It was not los freddy’s once there they said that they are «los freddy» they sing like them, one of them was in that band before. and they make you pay for your rsvp ahead of time, once there they try to add it to your bill and then argue about it. the WAITRESSES don’t know manners push you out of their way and not even apologize. ONE TOILET ONLY! cram people everywhere!
