They need to specify that you can only eat here if you anticipate «renting» a room for karaōke… I don’t want to sing I want to eat! And I drove 30mins just because of the ratings! Ugh.

Love their Jjukumi!!! It’s pretty spicy and good! There is usually plenty of self parking available and always plenty of seats. Service is great! I love the environment cause it’s so private. Not too crowded and u can watch sports and eat.

My boy and I went for our first visit last night, around 10:30, and it was not busy at all. It is a great Korean Pub that serves such huge portions of food, ranging from American finger foods to traditional Korean jiggaes and dishes. & Did I mention you can enjoy all this right at a table or INSIDE OF YOUR VERY OWN KARAOKE ROOM?! On top of that, they do NOT charge the rooms per hour but rather at just $ 2/​song. You think all this stops there? Not one bit. Be sure to check-​in on Unilocal to get that FREE Complimentary Bottle of Soju. You MUST order one bottle, but the second one is free. This applies to both the regular chamisul soju and the Cocktail soju. We opted for the Cocktail Soju ($ 17.99) and got another for free. That was the cherry on top.
The service was amazing. They were attentive. They were accommodating. They were swift. They truly aim to please and that’s exactly what they did last night! They let us stay, past their closing time and once we left, they were so happy and attentive that they gave us a complimentary $ 10 gift certificate for our next visit (hopefully soon)!

well I’m not a Korean expert but I do know customer service and this place LACKS of it. waitress was rude specially when we mention the offer of free soju, she explained that you need to purchase one and get one free. THAT’S false advertising. place is empty in a Saturday night and still it took 20 minutes for her to come and take my order. at that point I’m done so no desire to try the food of a restaurant that does not care of my business. O by the way Don’t you dare to ask for a extra menu is one per table. I’m out.

Can I just say, this place is AWESOME! I don’t understand why it was completely empty on a weekend night (this place is really big and spacious, but the night we went it was just us and maybe two other parties), but I didn’t mind because I don’t care for crowded places. Let me just bullet point the awesomeness factors:
–Yelp check in = free bottle of soju
–50% off all alcohol promotion (cha-​CHING!)
–Portions for food are pretty huge for a good price
–TV screens all around to watch your fav. sports highlights or whatever
–Karaōke rooms available for after you get drunk and are ready to belt out your favorite tunes (you feed cash into the machine in the karaōke rooms rather than the place charging you by the hour)
This place is my jam! At least until the 50% off promotion goes away hehe

I am personally a fan of Pocha’s aka Korean casual bars that serves lots of food. There are so many in Ktown and when a new one opened up, I immediately had to go check it out.
Pocha Korea is located in a quiet plaza with free parking, which is unusual for Ktown. They had a free soju bottle per 2 people with Unilocal check-​in and some happy hour deals. My friend and I went on a Friday and the place was mostly empty. We were one of the 3 tables that had customers in a large restaurant.
The food was just okay. We ordered the Nakji Bokkeum (spicy stir-​fried octopus with noodle) and it was quite good. The dish was nicely spicy. The cheese dak galbi or grilled chicken with cheese was not very good. It was covered with cheese and tomato sauce, which gives it a pizza taste. The problem was that they didn’t use chicken but chicken sausage. I really didn’t care for the flavor.
The food was a little overpriced for the portion. They also charged us for the soju even though we ordered it with the check-​in offer and already showed our server. When we brought it up to their attention, the girl had to take my phone to go ask a manager if she can do it.
The service was alright. The girl who helped us was nice but she didn’t really speak a whole lot of English.

great food, especially fusion food for all asians & others. All food taste absolutely great, especially FREE Soju Offer is amazing and the free offer is on their web site.

This place is the definition of sketchy. Look at my other review (under miss korea, as that was the original name).
Food is still good. Music is a little loud for a place that doesn’t have that many people. Waiters are nice.
So why is it so sketch? Our waiter would bring us bottles and would be like «this is service!!» (Meaning that it’s on the house). Every bar in Koreatown that I’ve been to has done this. It’s honestly the norm if you want decent tip.
BUT after checking our bill, we found out that almost nothing that he claimed was free, was actually free. Normally this would not bother me, but don’t be claiming that it’s on the house when it isn’t!!! It’s such a pathetic attempt to get more tip in the hopes that your customers will be drunk enough to not notice. The first time I came, they prodded us for more tip. Probably not going to be coming here unless I had no other option.

This restaurant’s very delicious. And then waiter are very kind ! The price is adorable! I ate special combo, very delicious! Like this place :)

Perfect for a chill Friday night out with the girls. There are food and drink combo options which are awesome. I recommend the seafood pancake and the tofu kimchi. The chicken is also great– unique sauce.

Service is cray good. They are so nice. Fall in love with the cute waiters. Gave us free beer and soju. They have combos that are great value. Good atmosphere with lots of TVs and music. They are a new place so check them out before they get too popular! :) Come come come!

Amazing service, amazing food, chill atmosphere. Would come again on a friday night! Recommend the dooboo kimchi, seafood pancakes and spicy wings.

New place! Cool employees! Good food! Cold drinks! This place is New, used to be miss korea. Chill vibe with tv screens. This place is clean! One of my New go to spots.
