Pro Ponds West

I wanted to build a pond in my backyard without hiring a company to do it for me. I realized there were a few things I needed to know about building and the products needed, etc., before I got started. During my research I found that the best products were made by Aquascape and Pro Ponds West came up on their website — I realized they were close by. I decided to go and check them out before I started my pond project.
I walked in and they had an impressive amount of products on their shelves and an indoor pond! Chris and Rafael welcomed me and asked me about the project I was wanting to do. They were very helpful and knew exactly what products would be best for the type of pond and waterfall I wanted to build. Chris explained the difference between the brands you could buy and why you would want to choose Aquascape — they are a little more, but will last a whole lot longer. I ended up actually purchasing a pond kit which had the pump and filtration I found during my research. Chris also recommended a few videos to watch before building the pond (which were very helpful). I left excited and confident to start my project!
As I was going through the steps on building the pond, I realized it wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. It wasn’t as easy either — I would probably hire someone if I were to do it over but it was a pretty rewarding experience.
After setting up the pond I waited a bit to go and pick out fish. I have already been back 3 times since to pick up some fish care products and a lighting set. I always enjoy talking to them about my project. It looks absolutely gorgeous and I can’t thank Chris, Rafael and Pro Ponds West enough for all of their help!

Nice place. My aerator went out in my pond and my fish were in dire need of a new one.
I purchased the aerator below at a decent price, while i was there i also picked up an automatic nutrient dispenser. Pretty cool products.
