Where is the Public Health Department! My girlfriend and I live in the neighborhood and thought we’d stroll in to check the place out. In 3…2…1…Horrified! The ancient owner is sitting at one of the booths watching TV, chain smoking with her bare feet propped up on a stool! The place was totally empty and absolutely reeked of mold, garbage and over flowing cigarette butts! The carpets stained, silverware dirty and booths covered in dust. My companion immediately looks at me wide eyed and says, «Get me out of here now!» It was like a scene from Scooby Doo! Feet don’t fail me now! These days I feel bad even walking by the place and find myself crossing the street to avoid the PTSD that this place gave me. For those that order delivery from this establishment, may you rest in peace. You are honestly living on borrowed time.

Come here all the time to order pizza by the slice. Went tonight and was told they don’t accept credit cards. I told them I always pay by credit card. Then hey say oh yeah we take them but charge 60 cents. Not cool.

To whom it may concern, I have been a long time fan of your pizza and enjoyed many tasty treats at home and in your restaurant. However, I placed an order last evening, 12⁄12 @ 3:31pm at which time I was told it would take 45 minutes. No problem there but 45 minutes turned into 1 ½ hours and then two. During my wait I called several times to find out where the pizza was and I was told that the driver was on his way. I used a few of the GPS services to find out what the delay was only to discover that it was only a 13 minute drive from my house to your place. At no time during my phone calls to whom ever it was on duty last night did he ever offer an apology for the delay or offer to call the driver to find out where he was. In fact all he said was ‘do you want the pizza or not?’ We cancelled the order in the end and ended up having to drive to get some dinner else where. I can’t say how disappointed I/we were and I’m not sure if anyone cares about what I’m saying but if you want to keep your long time customers coming back the customer service needs to improve. I wouldn’t mind hearing from a manager or owner on this subject but I won’t hold my breath. Sorry for the rambling letter but I needed to let you know what happened and that you’ve probably lost a customer(which kills me cause I love your pizza)!

If you want a taste of classic old Hollywoid, here it is. The décor looks like it has never been changed and I mean that in a good way. Classic old booths each with it’s own colorful chandelier over head, this place is dark even during the day. Wine bottles slipped between the banister like trim around the booths mark the by gone vintages of yesteryear. It is settled into the corner of a tiny strip mall across the side street from the 24 hr Rockin’ Ralph’s. Food is delicious. Portions are correct. Price is great for what you get. Take out is consistent and they give coupons with delivery.

You think for a place who’s reputation on being the worst pizza in LA they would at least be nice. They’re not, they’re quite rude. Service is terrible and not to mention the restaurant itself reminds me of a horror movie where I’d get stabbed and brutally murdered. I would suggest skipping a mean verse eating there.

The ULTIMATEWORST. Don’t do it. I ordered a cheese pizza extra crispy. The pizza came and looked horrible, it wasn’t crispy. In fact, the cheese was not fully melted. I called to let them know I was dissatisfied, the receiver replied, ‘so what do you want me to do about it?’ Then our phone call mysteriously disconnects. Rude. I called back, different person answers and says, someone will come pick up the pizza from my apt and refund me. No one ever came. So I jumped in my car with the pizza to deliver it back to them. I got a full refund. But let me tell you $ 14.35 didn’t come close to adding up to all the time waisted, their distasteful attitudes, my hungry belly, and having to even glance at the disgusting pizza they delivered to my doorstep. Cheers.

A place in the heart of Sunset Boulevard should not be empty. All of the restaurants around this place is packed, I mean, really packed to the point that we have to wait for tables and this place is ALWAYS empty. I never understood why, until I put my foot inside which I immensely regret to this day. The problem is not the food. It’s the customer service. There is an old lady with reddish hair who serves to whom someone should tell her to stay home instead of working there. Please, someone asks the owners to give her a retirement package and keep her away from that place for good. The customers will be happy. Her coworkers will be happy. The whole state of California will be happy when we don’t see her face again. Anyway, on the day we went the place was totally empty, nobody was there BUT she makes my whole family wait to get a table. I mean, are you serious? After what was like forever, she finally gets us a table and starts serving us. I’ve worked at restaurants in my old days, so I always try to treat the waiters with a lot of respect, but this lady no matter how polite we were, nothing could change her bad mood. So, she brings our food and the plate is burning hot. Instead of warning us, she just tosses the plates very brutally on our table which touches my arm and burns like hell. Instead of apologizing, this creepy psycho waitress yells with her teeth out like a grunting old wolf, «It was you fault!» I was like, «Excuse me lady? You toss the plate on my arm and says that it’s my fault? Oh, please!» So for the entire time, she really wasn’t happy and showed to all of us how much she hated her job. It’s very sad to see people like her who don’t appreciate her job knowing that there are so many unemployed people who would die to have an opportunity to work. My dad, who is a lawyer, was with us and told me that if we wanted, we could sue them for hurting me with a hot plate. I guess that’s something to consider.

Don’t go there. Food is good but the waiter was more concerned with accommodating herself than me. The customer should always come first. My request for a little larger take out box shouldn’t have been a problem, I don’t like my food to mix I keep it separated like I did on my plate when I was eating there. She immediately got rude and her attitude was unacceptable. The sanitation of the place is suspect as you smell an odor when walking in the door. I told her the customer comes first and I wouldn’t be coming there again and she said«don’t she doesn’t care». WOW

Came here once with my friend in 2012 after a comedy show downtown, and since then, I’ve brought all of my friends here. This place is easily the best pizza place in Hollywood. They’ve got the nicest staff, the best pizza, it’s a very nice and homely place, that will serve you some bomb-ass pizza! I definitely recommend to try it!

pizza was ok, I wouldn’t go back for awhile, service was awkward. there was a strong cleaning supply odor when you walk in. this place has potential, large eat in dining area. Old classy Italian restaurant feel run and destroyed by bus boys instead of restaurateurs. Not every bus boy can be a waiter

I’ve had worse. The guy at the front was cool and friends. Just stopped in here for lunch. Ordered a slice of pizza and my buddy ordered a side of meatballs. The pizza was ok. Kinda bland and for $ 4 it was small. My buddy is a bit on the heavy side and the guys in the kitchen were talking craps about him in Spanish. They shorted him a meatball and were making comments about it. We noticed since there were only two meatballs instead of 3 but we didn’t want to make a big deal about it.

News flash: it’s 2015. Perhaps it’s time to realize that a lot of people prefer to pay with a credit or debit card. I’m not interested in paying your credit card service fee. It’s cool though, there’s another pizza place a half block down Sunset that takes their customer’s money for free.

I love the raffallos chain and miss the location on melrose but this one stinks. I paid over the phone by card with an aggressive woman but when the delivery guy showed up he said the charge didn’t go through and could we pay in cash. Well turns out it DID go through so we were double charged. When we called to discuss with e manager it was very shady and suspect. He wouldn’t even credit us a voucher for another pizza. Never returning.

I have been going here for years and I even moved out of the area and make the 30 minute trek back here just to sit down in this lovely place and eat pizza and salad and enjoy the ambience. This is a family owned place and the family who owns it? They are splendid. They want you happy, full and satisfied and I always am. The pizza is so good, I cannot even begin to tell you. It tastes piece every time. I will continue to eat my pizza here no matter where in LA I live. Worth it every time.

What an amazing place. After walking from the old shipping center, you get transported to a truly authentic italian and traditional trattoria from Italy. The music, the brick walls, the amazing pizza, the bottles of wine decorating every table. This is truly an authentic place and the best thing of all, it’s their prices. Don’t judge the place by the outside as the shopping center outside is very average, but once you enter to this place, you truly will be transported to Italy. Highly recommended

Having come from the East coast, I know good pizza. This is not it. Came in for a slice of Supreme pizza. They literally dumped uncooked onions, peppers, cooked mushrooms and pepperoni on top of pre-cooked cheese pizza. $ 5.95/slice. You got me this time Raffallo’s. Never again.

Food is always delicious! We come here when we are in the area. Service is awesome, the owner is the sweetest lady! :) She treats us so well & remembered us from 3yrs ago! Love their pizza! Will be coming back once we are in the LA area. Weather was beautiful out, so we ate outside where there is only 2 tables, but inside is really nice too. It’s got a warm feeling to it, plus there are wine bottles that adorn the top of your seat which is pretty neat. Takes you away for a bit :) Parking is not the best. There is a little parking area. We were lucky enough to get a spot, the parking spaces are super small, and I mean super duper small. My Love had to get out of the car through the passenger side. Fun times! Totally worth it! :-D
