For probably 6 years now I have been going to Marlene and she just moved to this salon so I followed her there! She is AWESOME! I have been to salons where I’ve paid 3 times more and Marlene is ONEOFTHEBEST! The place is nice — go inside, you’ll see — and I always get a great cut that brings me many compliments.

I’ve been having Cecilia cut my hair for several years now and I have never been disappointed. The place is immaculate, service is great– I have never had to wait for my cut, scheduling is done with the client in mind. You can’t beat the price or the service!

I brought both my girls to Cecelia. Including tip, it was $ 36 for both of them. She didn’t shampoo, just sprayed it with water. Cecelia asks what you want and LISTENS! My little one has a huge amount of THISCURLY hair… my daughter loved her cut so much she was giggling when she was done. Love it!

I’m horrible at keeping appointments and always on the run, and Cecilia was perfect. I just needed a trim and re-layering, she did exactly what I wanted, and was super friendly. $ 20 cut, turned out great. Made appointment for 6pm, was out by 6:30. I didn’t want a blow dry.

This is a great place to get your hair cut. Everyone is very friendly, the salon is very clean and the prices are very reasonable. Ceci is the owner and she cuts hair just to your liking. My sons have brought in pictures to style their hair too, she matches the pictures. This is a great place and I would recommend it to anyone.

Im a dude and i love how Ceciela cuts my hair! I ve been going to C since 1999. There are times i have gone to other places to cut my hair only becuase i am out of town and something like that and no one even come close to what she does. I will go to C until my hair falls out! If you are a guy, this is the girl to see! I have recommended 3 other guys to her and they all love her!

I came to this salon twice. The first time I decided to get a trim and a blow dry. The stylist appeared as if she barely passed beauty school. My hair looked okay, but nothing spectacular. I decided to give this place another try because it is really close to my house. On my second visit I wanted a simple trim. The stylist did not trim my hair evenly. I brought this up to the stylists attention and she assured me that it was even. Another stylist who I believe is the owner came over and was of no help. I decided to leave with my hair uneven before she butchered it even more. I had my brother take a picture of my hair when I arrived home and I was outraged by how badly they trimmed my hair. The picture is posted above. I ended up going to a different salon the next day so they could repair the damage that had been done. I do not recommend this place at all. Going to this place was the biggest waste of money. I could have trimmed my hair better with my eyes closed. Save your money and your hair… Don’t come to this salon!

I hate to burst the bubble, all a y’all 5-star-ers, but this is not a 5-star salon. I normally go to Tamara Dahill Salon in Toluca Lake, but lately I’ve been feeling that was too far to trek, so I came here. The stylist was friendly and the cut I got was definitely a good cut as far as that goes, but she totally didn’t know how to deal with my thick, curly hair. Am I the only one out there who’s seen that reality show starring that bitchy blond English gal? You have to take small enough chunks of hair in order to get a precise cut. This gal(not naming names, but it wasn’t Cecilia or Cynthia) took big chunks and I saw her kind of struggling to saw her scissors through them. I was a little worried at that point, I have to say, but it all turned out well.(Curly hair is very forgiving.) Anyway, there is definitely a great friendly vibe at this salon. At one point a stylist from another salon came in just to visit and the whole salon was chatting together. Super homey, relaxing and chill. It isn’t enough, however, to make up for their too-orange walls and the lack of any refreshments and the way low-end products they use there. Would I go back? Well, the cut was good in a pinch. It was also good for the price: $ 15. But you know what was also bizarre? They accepted CC, but only Visa – no MC or AMEX. Bizarre! I don’t know if I’m going back again any time soon…

I’ve been going to this salon for over a year now. I love the patience they have and the understanding of what a person wants. I’ve left satisfied with my cut every single time. Recently got a cut and dye from Gloria and she was super nice and very considerate, I let her take over and i was happy with the result. Cecilia is also amazing and always knows what to do. Thank you ladies for being so great at your art of hair styling!

Cecilia did an amazing job! I showed her a picture and she did exactly what I wanted. Took my BF also and she did a good job on him too. He has curly hair so its hard for him to find someone that won’t mess it up. She didn’t have any problems. Make an appt because the word is out!

No sure why my review got filtered before, but I’ve been going to Cecilia forever, since she was at model cuts. She’s the best and I wouldn’t think of going to anyone else!

One of the co-owner’s of this salon is Cecelia, who you used to be with Model Cuts in Studio City. My partner and I have been going to her for years! I have very thick hair and could never find someone to cut it right. It would be wirey if it’s not done right. Thank goodness I found her and followed her to her new digs. It’s a nicely decorated salon on the corner of Victory Blvd. and Tujunga Ave. just across the street from the new Right Aid still under construction. Cecilia is quick with her clipper and scissors. It takes just about 25 minutes to do the both of us. The rates are VERY reasonable, about two-thirds less than the tre-chic, foo foo places. From observation, I can see that her partner(Sorry I forgot his name) is just as capable with his hair tools as Cecilia is. They both create beautiful styles for women as well as men. She just cut my Dad’s hair today who is visiting from PA. He said it was one of best cuts. While they take walk-ins it’s best to make an appointment. People have walked in for a cut and they’ve had to wait. So go check out the place, you wont be disappointed.

I took a chance with Fey to cut my hair. Fey made me feel very comfortable with what I wanted done to my hair. I have a very naturally tight curly hair and we discussed what would look great on my hair and on my face. He did an AMAZING job with my hair!!! It turned out to be a better cut/styling than I had even expected!!! I highly recommend the salon to my friends and will go again when I need another cut!
