Rainbow Hair & Nails

I was hesitant to post this since it is embarrassing to share my colorful new hair, but I am Doing so only because I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I went to and be robbed of hundreds of Dolars. About a week ago, I went into rainbow salon & was greeted by the owner Lydia & hairstylist Andrea. I sat down & explained I wanted ombré and a hair cut since I did have split ends. With excitement the stylist promised it’d look amazing & of course I was excited to see my new do! After 5 hours, hair cut, and this «blow out» and endless compliments from the stylists about my new hair. I paid & they let me walk out with my hair like this. Crying, I came home to show my mom my new hair & she was just as upset as I was. We went back to the salon and of course their Demeanor changed for some reason. Compliments turned into apologies. They admitted Andreas wrongdoing & said they’d be able to «fix my hair» (their words not mine) with highlights all over my head from root to end (since my ombré had harsh lines). They showed me a picture of what my hair would look like & Of course I declined I did NOT want highlights, that was not what I asked for. The reference they showed me looked extremely outdated as if I was getting high lights from the early 2000s. They said that was all they would be able to do for me & I was shocked that no one there was able to do an ombré nor a Balayage & Not once did they offer me a refund so I left. These women should really consider going back to beauty school! As of now I did find another stylist in Glendale correct my ombré & choppy uneven hair cut (another 6 hours) which I’m happy about, but of course I had to spend hundreds more. Wish I would’ve had to go through the process once! Everyone please save your time & money!

Love the ladies here. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. It’s a little humble place but they are amazing and detailed.

I lost my eyebrow stylist of 5 years and tried this place out even though I was hesitant because well, IT’S IN THE GHETTO! After I went through 7 stylist around los Angeles and Hollywood I finally found a place that rocked it! A++++!
After my third time getting my eyebrows groomed I tried for acrylic nails with white tips. Another home run!!!
