RAMON’S CUSTOM DRAPERIES & UPHOLSTERY

As an Interior Designer I always need a company who can do all the upholster for my company. I hire him to do some of my projects, and he did a fabulous job. Grateful for his service, and the price was just right. He also suggested some beautiful fabrics, he has great taste, he is so chic.
I recommend his work.

REALLY??? This CLOWN is still in business and SCAMMING people even after he was in PRISON in Mexico??? As Kayla C. says «DON’T DO IT!!!». He does talk a great game, seems to know what he’s doing and then takes FOREVER to do the work, then returns your items in WORSE condition then when he took them. I had to take him to small claims court and the chicken shit judge sided with him because it was so long after the fact… because it had taken me so long to find him… because he had been LOCKED UP IN A JAIL CELL IN MEXICO (who the hell knows what for)…probably for scamming someone down there. I didn’t know this until AFTER the hearing otherwise Mr. Scam-​Tiz (long for Ortiz), would NEVER have won in court… are you listening Ramon? You lucked out and you know it but now with with the help of Unilocal I have the power to warn other unsuspecting consumers who also may not have a lot of money to blow on someone who’s just going to take them for a ride. I’m not sure how much you paid «Dulce D» to write a positive review for you but obviously you gave her something. Maybe if you drop the «C» and the «L» from that word you will have the correct «ACT» that describes Ramon Ortiz. Be afraid, be VERY AFRAID!!!

DON’T DO IT! Those are the best words to describe Ramon’s services, the quality of the work is absolutely TERRIBLE and a scam. He was called out to my home just to do basic measurements and an estimate which were by FAR imprecise! Something gave us a strange feeling about him being in our home when we found him wandering into rooms. The check we had written for him was cashed in less than an hour. Sh***y work and poorly skilled! FRAUD

I accidently found Ramon while driving by and spotted a beautiful French Rococo sofa he was moving out of his wharehouse. I met the eclectic fun Mr. Ortiz and he was so welcoming, humble, sincere, polite and a class act. He is by appointment only and will make your small vision seem decadent and attainable. My drab home needed a major overhaul. I wanted a huge makeover and wanted a signature French shabby chic look in my «palace» near DTLA. Ramon who I discovered has worked with many celebs in the industry was so sweet and willing to assist me with my budget by finding amazing unique French furniture. He walked me through every step of the way by getting me great deals on fabric and upholstery to drapery. Overall Mr. Ortiz is an amazing talented interior designer who is not only affordable but an artist in his own right. Lastly, you get better deal. if you pay cash

I’m disappointed. Ramon is friendly, the price was fair and work was finished on time. It was sloppy work though. The reconstruction feels shaky and the wood putty filler stuff used to fill some cracks hadn’t been cleaned up. I pointed out the pink ooze to Ramon who told me I could just sand it off. Excuse me? «I» am responsible for that aspect of the repair?
I can’t recommend paying professional prices for the amateur work. I wish I’d gone elsewhere and will not return to Ramon’s in the future.
