RoRos how I have missed you! The westside is in desperate need of RoRos! By far the best in and out middle eastern spot in LA. I used to live in Hollywood and would frequent RoRos a few times a week. Let’s talk about the food first. Their chicken kabob plate is delicious! The chicken is always juicy and flavorful, the portions are fair and the food is authentic. I love their garlic sauce! It is creamy and has the perfect amount of garlic. Some of their competitor’s garlic has far too much garlic that seems to linger in your mouth for the entire day — definitely not cute! Their hummus is some of the best I have tried outside of my mom’s kitchen(my family is Palestinian, so yeah I know my middle eastern food). The service here is always top notch. They are extremely attentive and accommodating!

Great wholesome and hearty meal. I had the whole chicken special with side orders of large pilaf rice, hummus, pita bread. The garlic butter so savory. Only downside was I just got off work and ordered 20 min right before the shop was closing up, which is why I guess the white meat part of my chicken was darn dried up :(

Much better than expected. Friendly and inviting with good food. One negative — they really ought to have a bathroom available for paying customers…

This place has pretty great Lebanese food. Coming from nyc with lots of middle eastern spots this place is quite nice. I got the chicken kebab platter, the chicken was great. The thing that really stood out which usually doesn’t come standard was the garlic sauce. Very garlicky if you’re into that sort of thing.

One of my favorite favorite favorite places! Staff is very Friendly and the food is very yummy. We go there about every other week. We love the combination plates combination plates with kebabs and shawarma. Hummus is fresh. Wings are bomb. Normal sized wings… Not the hormone additive huge fatty wings. This is a must try and regular spot. Price is on point and don’t forget to try the grape leaves and falafel. Oh yeah the garlic butter is money$ :]

WTH! Went there on the recommendation from a acquaintance. THEYHADNOCHICKEN! NONE! Half of their menu is chicken dishes yet they had no chicken prepared to sell. They said I’d have to wait about 40 minutes for chicken because they just put chicken on the fire. I’m starving and unhappy.

Ro Ro’s was as pleasant surprise. Was in the area, didn’t know what I wanted for lunch. Came here on a whim. There’s a parking lot! With spaces! Makes things so convenient, especially for the neighborhood. Ro Ro’s is a no frills restaurant. You walk to the cashier, order, they scoop up the food and that’s it. Hot food like kabobs are cooked in the back. The veggie plate was great. The food quality is just as good as a fancy sit down restaurant. I loved the babaganoush. Its probably my fave babaganoush I’ve ever had. Smooth, acidic, compliments everything on the dish. Usually if I eat hummus side by side with the babaganoush it tastes bland. Not here! Everything else was pretty spot on. The falafal was a little strange in that it was spongey, not as beany. It was still tasty tho. Beef kabob was pretty good. Basic grilled beef over rice. Tons of onions on top. The onions were really fresh and complimented the dish well. It came with a side salad of iceberg and some kind of yogurt sauce. Plus a side of hummus. A pretty complete meal if you ask me. Chicken wings are exactly the way I like them. Super tiny. But at a good value because you get 12 wings for 6.49. You get only 5 wings at that price at other places. The hot sauce was good. I asked for extra cuz I like my food xxxspicy! It’s less buttery than other places, more olive oily. I like both. Neither are healthier than the other but it was nice to see their own spin. The owner is funny. If you need something specific to your diet just ask. «The answer is always yes!»

I have been going to this place for over 10 years. A few years ago I moved away from the restaurant and it hasn’t been easy to get to it. But I make special trips from the valley just to get Roro’s unique flavor, even though I have«similar«restaurants around me, I’d rather drive about 2 hours both ways just to stock up on falafel and shawarmas, hummus and ohhhhh the baklava. …trust me!!! Even my mom. who makes falafel at home asked me to get uncooked batter from the falafel to take home. BTW the owner is amazing as well as the staff. I always get personal care from the owner even if he is busy. Can’t go wrong with Roro’s ever

Weird experience. The food is ok. I ordered the chicken sandwich plate and was bought the falafel sandwich. When I pointed it out to the staff they insisted that was what I ordered I eventually got my sandwich which was almost bland. The hummus was great which gave the meal some flavor My friend enjoyed his meal. The shawarma plate. He enjoyed the rice very much.

One of my go-to spots for lunch when working in LA. It’s definitely up there with in terms of quality, affordable Mediterranean food and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it. Their $ 2.99 rotisserie chicken sandwich is an absolute steal, but their other sandwiches and plates are for sure worth checking out.

Order via Eat24 few months ago. Placed order at 10:43pm. Arrived at 11:05pm. We got… Beef Kabab $ 13.99 Combination Plate with Chicken Shawerma, Shawerma, and Kafta Kabab $ 14.99 Garlic, Hot Sauce, Tahini $ 0.50 extra Bleh! With one bite of the slimy chicken, we had to throw that plate away. The beef kabab was okay so we shared it. Sadly, I had a stomach flu the next day. I really wanted to like this place, because the restaurant smelled really good whenever I walk pass by. :(

Sunset and Highland’s cheap, and not-so-healthier alternative to In-n-out. Roro’s is this blocks Lebanese chicken institution. Clientele are people who work locally. Good friendly service here. The chicken shawerma is a little on the dry side, though it’s got a healthy slab of garlic oil, and for $ 4.30 is a value lunch. Though the word«Healthy» is propagated both on Unilocal and at the location, it really comes down to what you order here.

Honestly, this place is HANDSDOWN good. So my first visit was cautious but when me and my co-worker checked it out, we made the mistake of ordering there instead of ahead for lunch. OURMISTAKE. When we ordered the Chicken Sharwerma Sandwich and bit into it… well the taste was great!!! plus the freshly cut fries. After the initial visit we came back the next day for more. On the 3rd day we were talking about it so much that 15 other co-workers wanted to try and we order for delivery and they were pretty prompt on their time. I then went the next week 3 days in a row and I can say I love this place for its speed, quality and price. When I finally got known and began talking to the owner, I asked how long he had been open and he told me 21 years. same amount of years my favorite chinese fast food spot has been open that is really great. I honestly think it is better than Zonkous chicken and a better bang for the buck. Great service great food any one who tries this place will love it. Small little momma poppa spot!

The place is tucked away in a strip mall that doesn’t serve this establishment justice. I can not tell you how much I love their falafel! It’s crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It can’t get any better than that! Upon entering you are greeted by a massive visual menu. There are no grey areas when you order. In addition, the staff is very detailed in explaining the menu. I come here on a regular basis and there are two things that stick out: 1. The consistency with the food and 2. The service they provide if you decide to sit in. One tidbit if you sit in to eat: Don’t mind looking for the trash can, you leave it on the table. Someone will come pick up all your mess once you move your chair! Amazing detail to service. Also, expect someone working to send you kind goodbyes when leaving.

Very Yummy place, ordered in from this middle eastern/Mediterranean gold restaurant I went another Time a while ago it was good… And the food I believe is well cooked and nicely favored!!! I ordered the ground beef and lamb skewer Combo plate with pickles and hummus!!! Also I ordered the wings! Hot Wings 12 for like 6 $$$$ !!! Awesome! But do keep in mind they are not very meaty, and are very spicy! Also I ordered the chicken shawarma combo plate It wasn’t bad but it was dry, I’m glad it wasn’t covered in oil just to give it juiciness, but it was still good. But defiantly on the dry side. I didn’t get any peppers either:/ They did Provide napkins and forks and knives to eat! If your looking for a place to eat, and you want delivery, This place is recommend:) Very yummy Lebanese food!

DONOTEVENTHINK about talking to me when I have a mouthful of Ro Ro’s shawarma! I need a necklace that says DONOTDISTURB when eating this deliciousness because I would like to transport my tastebuds to the Middle East without anyone bothering me! If you’re looking for a super quick yet delicious bite, stop here! There is free parking and the service is so quick, you won’t have even paid at the counter yet, yet your order is being handed to you! That’s my kind of service because my taste buds are baby lions when they’re hungry! I adore this shawarma! It’s so flavorful and the hummus kicks ass x100! I have had some friends say it’s not the best but to hell with them, only my opinion matters right? ;) Well whatever, if you want shawarma for lunch and your friends don’t, that’s fine, they have other options located in the same strip mall! I had a friend get sushi and bring it back to Ro Ro’s and after one bite she was regretting her $ 14 purchase and wished she just got SHAWARMA! See!!! Ro Ro’s is the SHAAAAAWARMA!

Dang! This placed was pretty good or I was just really hungry… The food took a while to come out, but I think that they had a huge order placed before me. so that’s ok… I ordered the chicken kebab(which is dark meat). It came with a side salad, hummus, pita, and rice. Everything was reallyyyy good. The chicken was nice and juicy, not dry at all(which I’ve found a lot of places do). The garlic sauce was soooo good! I wish I had some right now because it just took it to a whole other place! Awesome little find on Unilocal!Only thing, it is in what looks like a sketchier plaza… oh well! Take your chances because it was delicious!

*Although the rotisserie chicken is decent, just a little on the dry side and the owner charges an extra $ 1.50 if you request to switch out the side of rice. I recommend you eat somewhere else for this type of food such as Al Wazir, Chicken Dijon or Joe’s Falafel. In other words, say«No No to Ro Ro’s”* Okay, so I don’t like giving low ratings to places, especially Mediterranean joints since that’s one of my favorite cuisines but I decided I had to in this case. I’ve actually eaten here a few times but now that I’ve did a lifestyle change in terms of my diet, I’m a little more limited as to what I can have. I stopped by here over the weekend to grab a quick bite for dinner and just wanted some rotisserie chicken and a salad for sides. They had a ¼ chicken plate that came with rice, salad and some hummus which looked decent enough except I wanted to have double salad and no rice to limit my carbohydrate intake. The guy at the counter said they would have to charge me an extra $ 1.50 to do that. I was a little perturbed and asked why since it’s just more lettuce and he said the«owner knows his prices». I reluctantly agreed and went ahead and ordered the plate. The chicken was tasty enough but not as moist as other places serving similar cuisine. I saw one of the guys take down a whole chicken off the rotisserie skewer and cut me my ¼ piece. The rice was white rice pilaf and I had asked before and they don’t serve brown rice at all. The salad was a small quantity that was mostly iceberg lettuce with some pickled radish and tomatoes doused with some dressing. They also gave me a pita bread which went well with my creamy hummus. Well, I was a little put off that they weren’t willing to switch out the rice for more salad since everywhere else I’ve eaten such as Joe’s Falafel in Studio City, Chicken Maison and Chicken Dijon in Torrance, Chicken Dijon and Al Wazir in Hollywood, all allowed me to switch out the rice for extra salad with out charging more for the request. They are all located in better areas too with a nicer interior AND the other eatiers all have restroom facilities so you got to know that the owner at Ro Ro’s is just being super greedy since the value just isn’t right for what you get. The half chicken plates are about $ 10 which is actually slightly more than those that are located in better areas and provide restroom facilities and healthier good choices. Based on my ¼ chicken plate, they also give you less quantity for the sides. Sorry, but I will give one star for the chicken and another star for the friendly service but that’s about it. I would recommend everyone go eat at another place until this restaurant decides to do the right thing. If the owner wants to let me know they’ve amended their ridiculous policy by sending me a comment on Unilocal, then I can investigate and perhaps see about improving the rating but for now, 2 Stars and the recommendation to eat elsewhere.
