Patrick the afternoon fake blonde is not friendly for an afternoon bartender. Food is good. Atmosphere is classicly great. One bartender is a sour apple.

Service is OK. I ordered food and received half the order. Waited to order another drink but there was no one behind the bar for awhile. One of the cooks was able to pour himself a drink. Maybe I’ll just make my own next time?

SFS is a cure for being homesick. Good bar food and a good place to watch the Warriors and Niners play. Come early or you Will be standing room only.

Nothing happy about their Happy Hour. Prices are ridiculous. Without warning the manager(or owner) of the bar came to the table with the check and told us to leave. Said that we were loud. Local bar which caters to their regulars.

Good location to watch bay Area teams in LA. Great bar food and awesome happy hour! Average size bar. Good amount of booths and table seating. Located on busy pico blvd just west of the 10fwy, free parking onsite and behind the building. Came here on one Thursday night to watch the Golden State warrior gane. Moderately packed with people, all seem to here to watch the game. Enough TV and great sound to hear and watch the game from anywhere inside. Wait staff was helpful and fast. Even saw manager working the floor. Typical bar food, wings and tots were good and what you expect. Overall I would come back again. GREATPLACEIFYOURCOMINGTOWATCHTHEGAME!

What you expect from a sports bar minus the excessive screens. A few flat screens strategically mounted so people crowd around in game day, laughing, clicking glasses, saluting each other in friendly sportsmanship. Did I mention the drinks are hella strong… Nough said…

By Far one of my favorite bars in the Los Angeles Area. Being a native Baylian, this is the only place in SoCal that really makes me feel like I’m back at home. Not only do they display the best sports teams from the Bay Area, they also play Bay Area rap that doesn’t get spun anywhere else down here. I can really appreciate that. Definitely a place to go to on game days when your Bay Area team is playing and you want to be surround by more of our kind. Absolutely love the vibe because most of us feel like were transported back home for a bit.

All I can say is Adam Adam Adam! Best bartender ever. Helpful and knowledgable — I told him what I like and he figures out the perfect drink. He did the same for my(adult) daughter. The bar has a nice big old fashioned bar and lots of great mirrors — it’s really a quite Wonderful and old fashioned open space. Iv eaten here many times before and the food is tasty and nice big quantities. Tonight Kelsey got a great burger — best burger ever with tater tots!!! Kelsey just said«best burger she has ever had.»

Great place to catch a Niner game and feel like you’re back in San Francisco. So many real Niner fans in one place catching a game. They play E-40’s Yay Area right before kickoff. I love it. Everyone singing the hook like we’re in Candlestick. Even the first down chant only fans that have attended a game at The Stick is done by the fans after every Niner first down conversion. Again… I love it. You also have folks outside selling Adapt brand and other Bay Area-centric apparel and merchandise. Im telling you it’s a slice of my beloved San Francisco in LA. I should have been watching games here a long time ago. Friends told me about it but I never made my way there for a game until a Sunday Night Football game this season. It was good times surrounded by good, like-minded and real 49er fans. I met several people that were also from the City just like myself who now call LA home. I really liked that because it’s an inexplicable bond and understanding of how one grew up and the passion for their hometown teams. I must really credit the San Francisco Saloon for providing that vibe and being so authentic… I mean, I met a couple who drove all the way from San Diego to catch the game there. The guy was gonna catch his flight home back to the Bay Area at LAX but wanted to catch the 1st half at SF Saloon. His girlfriend was just driving him to LAX when they had the idea of seeing the game before his flight because they had heard from friends it was Niner friendly. How awesome is that?!? They were good people and it was nice to share some drinks, food and laughs with them. SF Saloon also has good food. I like the fries I ordered a lot. They were perfectly crisp and seasoned. The sliders my friends ordered looked really good as well. The nachos looked great. The bartenders were super cool and the waitresses were super nice. Cant wait to go back… Gotta get there early to snag a seat before kickoff or you will for sure be standing the whole game. It gets packed. I gotta catch some San Francisco baseball Giants games there this summer. Street parking only… Metered mostly. Check the signs. Dont jaywalk Pico like we did.

Calling all bay area transplants! Do you love the bay area? Do you miss your hometown? Do you miss being around friendly non materialistic human beings? Well then, look no further because SF Saloon is the place for you! If you’re planning to watch a big game here then you better come here at least 1 hr prior to avoid waiting in line to get in and to save seats because it fills up FAST. They do not allow people to come in once they hit their max. capacity so I really suggest coming earlier to avoid all the mess. Bartenders are nice and attentive and the food is pretty decent bar food. mainly burgers on the menu but I always get some fries or one of their quesadillas. Prices are standard but they do have an amazing happy hour. There’s free parking on the streets but you need to come early on game days. I enjoy coming here because it really does remind me of home. Everyone is super nice and it’s always a great feeling grabbing a beer or two with friends and watching any LA sports team get dominated by our bay area loves.

I’ve been coming here occasionally through the years and just discovered their burger bowl. It’s pretty much a burger in a big bowl of salad minus the bun. I’ve been cutting back on bread and pasta so this burger was right up my alley. It’s comes with many options as far as toppings go. I usually get it with cheese, mushrooms and avocado. It is a great tasting burger that fills you up even without the bun. They have many beers on tap too. Large TV screens all around the dining area and bar. A great place to watch sports and knock back some beers. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone on the Westside. A must try sports bar/restaurant. 5 stars all the way!!!

Love this bar with delicious bar fare! This place has been serving burgers since the late 1930s and in LA — that’s a long time. Be sure to get an order of chicken fingers and smashed potatoes. You will thank me :) Service can be a little slow but that is my only real complaint.

Went here after a Halloween party. Why? Because it’s the only bar with food I know. We pulled up we thought they closed as it was that quiet. Well, 6 of us went in and had a great time. We raised the noise level some ;) We all had hamburgers. They were fantastic. Service was great even though they were slow. More often than not, a slow restaurant sometimes means lousy service, go figure:) But not here! Service was awesome! Then they got busier. It was a nice end to a great night out! As Arnold would say«I’ll be back» ;)

Do you find yourself often the only GSW, SF Giants, or 49er fan among all your friends in LA?! They just don’t understand your pride and well it’s all fun and games to get in arguments on who is better! But, there’s nothing that beats the feeling of Home!!! Nothing! Come here and make new friends that feel your pain when your team loses or is through the roof when you team wins!!! This place is an absolute must for all teams Bay Area! That’s right!!! Woot woot! Come here if you’re a 49er fan, Oakland raider fan(actually I don’t know about Oakland) maybe for battle of the Bay?! Lol Golden State Warriors fan, San Jose sharks fan, sports fan of college sports such as Stanford and Cal Berkeley!!! You get the point!!! Don’t cha!?! Come here on game day and find yourself around all of your favorite fans decked out in fan gear and you’ll find yourself truly feeling at home in the Bay Area and forget that you’re in the heart of Los Angeles! What a serious mind trip! I was here when the Giants won the World Series and it was an excellent experience! I was also here recently for the Golden State championship game which I am a huge fan of GSW and I tell you there was something magical about 150+ dub nation diehards in LA!!! Many I spoke with drove from past Long beach as far as Santa Clarita just to experience a true fan experience! I also came here when the 49ers went to the Super Bowl all 49er fans from all places of LA County found their way to SF Saloon!!! That was the biggest turnout I’ve ever seen here! Many people couldn’t get in so they were tailgating on the sidewalk in front of the business! I must say that, was one of the most memorable days that I’ve had at the San Francisco Saloon!!! When we lost the Super Bowl I must say the level of intensity of all those that had their hopes up being crushed was something that I’ll never forget!!! If you are a Bay Area fan finding yourself living in LA I highly suggest that you come to this business and feel at home! They are also open up early on Sundays for Sunday football if that’s something you’re interested in as well! Of course the show all teams but when two teams are playing the always play Bay Area and another! For instance I went to a sports bar just recently and on all the TVs they had were the Lakers playing the Timberwolves although the Golden State Warriors were playing at the same exact time(excuse me we are the 2015 champions) I had to ask them to put the game on and while they did this would never happen here at SF saloon!!! The food and the drinks aren’t bad either and they have good happy hour deals. I’m truly grateful I found this place!!!

This is an awesome local bar! It does have an old-school saloon feel with its wooden floors and booths. We had an office party here and they were great at organizing and hosting the event from start to finish! The food was your typical quesadillas, onion rings, nachos, etc. and they were pretty fast with serving drinks. I’d recommend getting their beers over their hard alcohol drinks. The staff was very friendly!

Being a bay area sports fan in LA can be tough. The narrowed eyes, the shaking heads, the constant heckling… it gets tiresome. Luckily, however, there is the San Francisco Saloon. The SF Saloon is a great local spot to catch a game. Does it make me feel like I’m back in the bay? Well, not really. But does it play my SF/Oakland games and have an awesome staff? Why, yes it does. The good: –Great bartenders/staff –Decent bar food(burgers are recommended) –NFL Sunday Ticket –They play non-SF/Oakland games, too! –Bay Area goodness The not-so-good: –There’s only one bathroom stall, which means waiting during busy games –Service can slow down during busy games –There’s always THOSE fans at a sports bar, especially during 49ers games Happy hour runs(as I recall) Mon — Fri 4−7pm, and Fri-Sun 9pm-12am. Food-wise, last I remember, there was a $ 7 happy hour burger, $ 2 tacos, and $ 2 off some other food items(wings, quesadillas, nachos). Happy hour drinks included a $ 6 craft cocktail, $ 4 well drinks, and $ 2 off margaritas. Most importantly, this is probably one of the friendliest bars I’ve encountered in the area. Whether I’m with friends or by myself, I know I’m going to enjoy my game and have a good time.

SENSEOF «HOME» It’s the BayArea sports bar in SoCal. They play a lot of e40 and it gets very«BayAreaaaaaa» up in there. There’s a lot of transplants and non-transplant fans — everybody is there for good vibes and support. I’ve been kind of bummed that I’m not home this season and I’m not at a bar in SF with my friends. I was told by friends to come here and break ice and meet new ones. And so I sucked it up, grew some balls, and I did and I met a handful of new friends… Go 49ers!!! — line to get in — you can buy adapt clothing at the front — food is decent bar food — everybody is friendly — lots of regulars that know each other and new ones are always welcomed — e40 like no tomorrow — good vibes You can find me here this season… Rep that REDANDGOLD in SoCal.

The San Francisco saloon is usually a 4 star place for me. It is a solid neighborhood bar where you can always get a good drink and a bite. But tonight, on Labor Day weekend, the slowest weekend ever, they screwed up our order! We were waiting for buffalo wings for 45 min and the freaking wings never arrived. When we asked for the check, we realized that the waiter never put our order in. But I know for sure it wasn’t a miscommunication or that he didn’t hear us. Big let down. So, 2 stars it is. Boo to the San Francisco Saloon.

Such a fun spot to come for any SF Bay Area sports game. It’s always nice to cheer on your favorite teams in an atmosphere where everyone is doing the same. Good selection of beers and bar type foods to accompany. Extra parking can be found around back. During bigger games(ex: GS Warriors Finals) you MUST arrive 1 hr early to claim a table, if not-you’ll stand.

My home away from home! I love the vibe in here and everyone I’ve met here is exactly what I miss about home: they’re chill, friendly, down to earth, and cheer for the best teams out there ;) We watched the NBA finals here and it was a blast. Got there about an hour early and snagged a table in the corner. The food was cool, typical bar food. I had a chicken burger and I heard that the wings are pretty good. Our waitress was great and there was free parking available in a lot down the street. All in all a great time! BAYAREAAAAAAAAA

We waited too long for simple quesadilla. Service is not great. Even after a waitress said its coming right out we had to wait for another 15 minutes so our food came after almost one hour with us unacceptable in a bar.

Herb Caen once said, «One day if I go to heaven… I’ll look around and say«It ain’t bad, but it ain’t San Francisco.» I guess San Francisco is that awesome that even Los Angeles would have an SF-themed bar! ;) Plenty of bar and table seating. Come at least 30 minutes before the game starts because the place will fill up! Happy Hour(Monday-Friday 4−7pm & Saturday-Sunday 9−11pm): — $ 2 off select beers — $ 4 well drinks and margaritas — discounts on appetizers Cheers to the Bay Area!

Came here to watch a Warriors game last Friday! It gets pretty crowded so snagging a table gets pretty difficult once a game starts. The atmosphere had a great NorCal spirit and there were several TVs to watch the game from. I tried to make it for happy hour but missed it due to traffic(it ends at 7PM I believe) regular beers are $ 6. I wanted to do a pitcher with my friends but they unfortunately don’t do those, so you’ll just have to keep ordering rounds!

SFFANSUNITE! I came once in the summer, it was pretty chill. Burgers are pretty good and customizable. Wings are good. Hot dogs are pretty generic — got the sauerkraut special. I came a few times during the recent World Series run. Packed and so full of excitement!!! If you expect to find seat, get here super early(more than 1.5 hrs before first pitch). Otherwise, you’ll be crowding around the bar. Or waiting outside to get in. There’s no greater feeling than being surrounded by fellow fans — cheering on the home team and jeering the BS(*cough* JOEBUCKSUCKS *cough*). Full bar, great beers, decent bites, good times. –1* for ONESINGLEBATHROOMSTALL(for women’s). Fine except during playoffs :(.
