Update few months later — things are falling apart. Drawers don’t work, cabinet doors won’t close straight and wood molding around dishwasher fell out and now there is a gaping hole. I have had another contractor come and redo the electrical so my house would stop shorting out. The contractor told me point blank the house was NOT up to code and it is the law the contractor must notify me and do the work before installing what was installed. My house could have burned down — the entire kitchen was on one breaker! Next, the range(stove/oven) was installed by Seal Constructions without converting all the burners and oven to propane. The range came with the entire kit to convert to propane and they did not do it. Told me they did and my husband asked over and over again. I was burning my pots and pans. I had the propane company come out and take a look at what resembled a campfire. Told me it was not converted. They took the range out and in front of me found the kit in the back and changed all the burners with the proper conversion valves. They told me I could have destroyed the brand new range by running propane through natural gas valves. Now I have yet another contractor coming to repair all the drawers and cabinet doors AND to caulk the granite counter top meeting the tile and the sink. The caulking was done so poorly that water goes between the counter and the sink down below. I will NEVER allow anyone from Seal Constructions to return to my house even if they offer to fix their bad work for free. I am NOT satisfied with their work and that is simply not fixable. The after pictures look great from a distance, but I don’t live a distance from it…

This is an overdue review for seal construction. I have completly remodeled my house with this company and they always over deliver. I contacted seal construction to do a remodel of my master bathroom. Me and my wife wanted to change the tub shower to a more open design with glass enclosure. We also wanted a complete new look for the vanity and we wanted a specific design that we saw on a magazine for the mirrors. From the beginning Joe was very friendly and showed that he knew what he was doing. The price seemed reasonable and we were confident that he was the best choice. The bathroom remodeling ended so nice that we called him again to do our kitchen. Seal construction workers came on time and cleaned the premises everyday so there were never any mess to complain about. We had a delay of 8 days in the finish date of our kitchen but it was due to an availibility and shipping issue with the materials. We have called them again to start our backyard remodeling, call them now you will be glad you did.

There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t see another flaw in the craftsmanship and integrity of the kitchen remodel done by Seal Construction. After pointing out crooked drawers that come off their rails and attempts to fix them, they still come off the rails each week. Doors to cabinets are crooked and some of them scrape when closing. These are seemingly simple fixes, but never seem to get done right. Handles on some of the doors are still loose and unevenly installed. Just tonight I was putting some things away in the storage space above the micro hood and found such careless finishing details, sawdust is left behind, and there are holes and screws that make things look so unprofessional in my opinion. I was also promised a cutting board several times. I’m yet to receive this. I have noticed how the positive reviews do not provide pictures. I will not be using Seal Construction again for any futures projects.

Draws off their runners again and still no warranty… oh…and my name is Jenny, not Jane but then you’d know that if you actually spent any time on the project. The photos make it look great right? Photos taken at the end of a difficult and stressful project. Sadly they wouldn’t have looked so good had we not stayed on top of these guys and they don’t show the still existing issues that I guess we will have to live with. Just to be clear, the final payment was made. We have the receipt to prove it. The«extras» that Mr. Yorum talks about were not extras at all. We didn’t want the kitchen repainted, they had to do it because workers messed up the paint with their messy, disrespectful treatment of our home. Anyhow, glad to have them out of my life, although I think they will probably haunt me every time I attempt to use the faulty draws.
