Siam Chan is delicious and authentic. The atmosphere is pleasant, and service is impeccable. I recommend the mango and sticky rice when in season.

I finally stopped in for a late dinner as I noticed the place while driving by. Essentials: Easy parking(they have a parking lot or street) and the aesthetics of the place is welcoming and warm. The staff is friendly and service is good. Imho, the food could be better. I ordered the Mee Krob($ 6.95), Snow Peas with pork($ 7.95) and a Siam Chan Special — BBQ Roast Pork Over Rice($ 8.95) with hot green tea. The Mee Krob was very good, although I felt it could have used more bean sprouts and chopped scallions. The snow peas with pork was fine, but I felt it was very bland. I had great hopes for the BBQ Roast Pork Over Rice based on the description, but I felt it was ruined by the weird tasting red gravy; the Chinese sausages were mediocre as was the Thai BBQ pork(was it really cooked correctly or just smeared with the red gravy, I wonder???). The rice was easily the worst dish of the night even though it is touted as one of their«specials»; I would never get it again. The green tea was disappointing as it was weak and made with water from the tap instead of filtered water — I could taste it. The pricing was reasonable, however, I and my dinner partner left feeling somewhat dissatisfied in the taste buds and with the food quality.(Perhaps because it is meant to cater to a Western palate???) With that said, I would return again and stick to the«popular basics»; the Mee Krob gave this place a second chance. My review got an extra star for the parking, staff, environs and pricing, but the food and execution of it could be better. I hope on my next visit the food will improve. Stay tuned…

this place is unexpectedly spiffy inside(compared to other thai restaurants in the area), all the typical entrees and menu items you could expect from your local thai restaurant, plus some more, the menu is pretty large. the items are also relatively inexpensive, my pad thai was only $ 8.50, i’m use to paying $ 10-$ 12 for the same thing elsewhere

Highest quality Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. Driver was quick and friendly, fried rice was fresh, and the orange chicken is the shiznit. Order from here now.

My friend gave this restaurant as a recommendation and everything we got was very good. It was good and fast. We ordered a BBQ dinnet and Tom Yum Koong. All had good flavor and was fresh with generous portions. It’s my new go to place.

My go-to for delivery Thai food every time. I’ve been trying out every other Thai place in the Culver/Mar Vista area and this one is by far the best. I recommend the pad thai and the green curry. Both are cheap and delicious! Nothing to complain about here.

Thai food was good but lacked the«punch» that usual Thai food has.(Its more like«Americanized-Thai» instead of the o.g. stuff) The soups and pork dishes were good, bbq chicken was a tad dry, and the pompano fish could have been fried a bit more. Staff was friendly enough and price was acceptable. Wed night was kinda dead though, so the weekend crowd should make the atmo better.

My new IT delivery spot for the westside. Since I’ve moved out here, I’ve had a few thai places deliver to me– all of which failed to deliver juicy tender Thai BBQ chicken. I decided to look up reviews for Siam Chan and noticed other fellow Unilocaled liked the BBQ chicken here. We ordered delivery thru Unilocal and got the the dinner combo with Thai BBQ Chicken and friend rice that comes with egg rolls and thai iced tea for a little over $ 10(seriously, great prices!!) We also got the green chicken curry and pad see ewe. SOBOMB! I’m a little confused why my green chicken curry did not come with a side of white rice(i think they may have forgotten) Knocked off a star for that, but I will continue to order from my new fave spot!

Seriously? You don’t give me rice with my curry? WHAT? The curry was good, but come on… what do you expect me to put it on? RIDICULOUS. SERIOUSLYRIDICULOUS. I picked up my meal and came home to no rice. :-(

Ordered the spicy chicken SALAD. It had no lettuce of any kind. The menu clearly describes this dish as being«served over lettuce». When I brought it to the cashier’s attention, she said that’s how they’ve always served it. Not true, as I’ve order this dish before, dining in, and it had plenty of lettuce. She then said that I want more lettuce, I just have to ask. It didn’t have ANY lettuce. She was rude when I arrived, she interrupted me as I was talking, she told me I was wrong, and when I asked for a side of jalapeños, she gave me a small container and told me to grab some from the table. In the past, they’ve always had some side items like this ready to go. Even when I paid, she dropped my card on the counter in a rude manner, not like I’d handed it to her. I’ve definitely seen a decline in the quality of their service in the last couple of years. Been going here since they first opened.

Why all these negative reviews? The place is spotless!!! The staff is very friendly and takes time to explain and/or suggest some(great) dishes. The food… I rated them 5 stars so guess what I think! Last point, the deliveries, always on time, hot and fresh!!! Don’t listen to the haters and make your own opinion!

I’ve picked up food from here 4 or 5 times over the past year. I’ve never eaten in, so I can’t comment on their dine-in service. They’re reasonably quick when it comes to ordering, and then driving over to pick up. They are affordable, and a bit above average in terms of food quality. Their meats often taste old or taste like they were frozen, so I’m usually ordering tofu or vegetable dishes. Overall, reasonably priced, quick, and better than other options I’ve had in the area.

Been here twice now, both times for their lunch specials. Nothing to complain about, as their portion sizes are pretty good. I would like to see either Pad Thai, Pad Kee Maw, or Pad See Ew on their lunch special menu, but being that it’s only $ 1 more [or maybe not even that], it’s still not all that bad. I’ve always gotten their red curry with soft tofu and my wife has gotten the pad kee maw and the pad thai. The curry is very creamy [please don’t show me how much coconut cream is used, some things are best left unknown…] and has a great flavor. The peanut sauce that they use on their salad is glistening in red shiny stuff [aka oil], but hot damn, that stuff is good. The noodles can run slightly oily depending on your palate, but both my wife and I barely season our food, so it’s fair to say that their food is just fine [we’re bland people]. The parking situation can be tight as it’s in a corner plaza with many business and too little amount of spaces for it, but I’m sure you can strike gold when looking for residential street spots. The servers are all really nice, but the food service could run on the slightly slow side. Better reason to bring good company so ya’ll can have a good little chit chat while waiting for the food.

Ordered delivery from EAT24 — $ 15 min & free delivery. Guaranteed 60 mins and it arrived in 40. Bbq pork fried rice– decent. Could use a bit more flavor. In typical chinese bbq pork fried rice there’s more of a «roasted» flavor. Don’t know what this one had. I’d order it again though. Good portions. $ 7.95 Chinese Broccoli & mushrooms in oyster sauce. $ 7.95. Good, however NOT the oyster sauce I am used to. Super SUPER heavy on the garlic. Great if you’re craving it, not so much If you’re not. Sorry bf, you’re gonna have to deal with my sexy breath tonight! I would order here again, there’s a large menu and I’d like to try more items. Maybe more thai ones since they are thai after all. Haha.

Tried the Spicy Clams last night, and the clams were certainly delicious! The sauce was wonderfully spicy and had great flavor — but again(like the downfall of so many of their dishes), over 50% of the dish was just bell peppers. It doesn’t even say the clams come with bell peppers on the menu. Quite a few of their dishes use bell pepper as a filler, which is unfortunate, especially when you pay $ 11 bucks for maybe a quarter pound of clams(in-shell) and a ton of bell pepper.
