My buddy wanted to have drinks in DT and that’s where we head, not realizing it’s Night on Broadway we are stuck in some serious traffic but find street parking about 4 blocks away! We head to spring st ready for a beer and food. We order sandwiches because that’s what they serve and it was a tasty French dip and Cubana that we split. Spring St and most of Downtown apparently are dog friendly and have doggie treats and water for your furry son or daughter! Spring carries a nice selection of Draft I think 26 choices so something for all of you and of course well and hard stuff. music was really great as well as we commented to Taylor who was a nice bartender. Restrooms nice and clean as well!

Not the best service– the bartender had an attitude when i didn’t like one of the signature cocktails. Too bad bro. However, the wine pours were extremely generous! You have to go order everything from the bar– there were no servers when we were here around 3 – 6 pm on a Sunday. The cheese plate we ordered was ok– not great, but not a total fail. This place is very DTLA hipster. It reminded me of 5 other bars in the area.

Cool spot. I can’t elaborate much. Only came to have a drink then I bounced.

Truly a perfect bar! Ambiance is a fun romantic hipster vibe, but the real reason I keep coming back is the amazingly priced craft beer. Plus the sandwiches are damn delicious!

I’m not a big fan when it comes to beer or sandwiches but I really(repeat 8 times) like this spot in the heart of dtla so much! Spring St. Bar is another great establishment in the area that I never knew of. Say what? Ok, not every bar in dtla is great you know… but this particular is good. Luckily it wasn’t too crowded by the time we got there past Saturday night. We decided to have something not too heavy and meat and cheese board* was just perfect for the two of us. We made such a good choice because it was so tasty! The only complain would be the bread was kinda too thick… I prefer thinner sliced bread. Well, you gotta have to try this one out, Unilocalers! Ok, my drink was kinda light. It was one of the signature cocktails* and I already forgot what it’s called. I actually don’t even have to mention it but it’s pretty refreshing though. I might have to go back just to try that drink one more time just so I would remember the name of it. Spring St. Bar is that kinda bar you want to go with group of friends. There are big and long tables perfectly for big parties. If you want to mingle, sitting at the bar might help. Definitely not a spot for your first dates… seriously. Service? Please order at the bar

When I think of a bar that has something for everyone, I think Spring Street Bar fits the tab. They have an extensive beer list and at fair prices at that! Not only do they have awesome beers, they even have a full bar including fireball! I kid about the fireball, I just saw a couple doing fireball shots last night at Spring Street and I knew this place was awesome! Mixed crowd, locals as well as visitors are here. Sort of small but cozy, dog friendly and the bouncers remember you! No place like Sprint Street Bar!

Currently sitting in the bar right now writing the review because I want to rave about it! First off, the bouncer was super cool upon coming in. Checked our ID’s, made small talk, cracked a joke and made no fuss. Went to the bar and made a semi-confusing request for payment and the female bartender(blonde, short hair, tattoos) took it no problem assuring us it wasn’t a big deal at all. She was SO sweet. I got another drink and was served by another female bartender(long dark hair and glasses) and was also very happy with her service. The Busser was also really great clearing our things and making small talk. Everyone here is so friendly! Okay the food… I’m a vegetarian and so is my girlfriend and the veggie melt was INCREDIBLE. Like wow. Also, they have Zappo’s voodoo chips?! I haven’t found any since I moved from Nashville. So good. My friend got the meatball sub and also said it was amazing! Huge meatballs and lots of cheese and sauce. Bread is killer. The drinks: affordable, great selection and always filled to the rim! Overall, incredible experience so far. Definitely going to be back. Thanks guys!

I started my review for this place twice and both times they change up the menu before I can finish my review. Clearly I’m dragging my feet on this one… First off I love the bouncers out front. Seriously, LOVETHEM! They alone worth 6 stars! I used to love the meat and cheese board. Creamy delicious burrata, thinly sliced prosciutto, arugala, truffle sauce… And they took it away… But now it’s back! Thank you, thank you, thank you! They used to offer a salad as a side with sandwiches that came with a delicious citrousy hummus dressing. And they took it away… Still waiting for it’s triumphant return… Baby come back! For now its mediocre potato salad. Voodoo chips are excellent tho! The sandwiches are great. Meatball, chicken, deli meats, hot, cold. I’ve never been disappointed. One thing, this place is cliquey for sure. You see the same people here every day and they are so proud they are hardcore spring street patrons. And I’ve heard them hate on ‘fake fans’ of spring street in the past who probably weren’t aware of the competition going on. I ignore that high school shit. But the place is dog friendly, they have good food, music is usually good, and if a REALLY good game is on, they might even play it with sound. But watching games is not why you go here. It’s for the food and the sometimes really witty entertaining people who work the bar.

Spring Street Bar is the less claustrophobic version right-next-door The Falls. Otherwise, you’re getting the same crowd and same-ish drinks at both String Street Bar and The Falls. Nothing special for either, just an average street bar experience.

Paul was really fun and had a lot of insight on the food and drinks. I recommend the hot Italiana, it was really delicious with a side of pickles

Stop by this bar with some coworkers just to hang out. We needed food and drinks and we were able to find both. We got here at about 6pm so still a bit early during their happy hour. Tried a few of their beers which I will say we’re pretty tasty(usually I am not a big beer drinker). For food they have some hot sandwiches and other small items. I had the Cubano sandwich which was real good. It came out hot and tasty from their«pick up your own food» counter. So you order food, they tell you a number and there’s a sign that tells you when your number is up and you can pick up your food. Pretty different way to serve food but it works. The staff here was also very helpful and nice. They explained how their food menu works and their beer options. I would be back to this place for sure.

Chill local bar. Great vibe, good bartenders, stiff drinks. Also a great place to have an amazing sandwich. It’ll probably be one of the best sandwiches you’ve ever had. Their all so good it’s hard to just name one. They open an noon so it’s a good spot for a quick lunch cocktail and bite to eat.

It’s that local watering hole where all your friends gather for a good night of laughs after that rough week at work being a slave to that jerk boss who wants you to come in on Saturday. While nestled in the pee-smelling street of Spring Street, comes this hidden local gem called Spring St Bar. The bartenders and staff are friendly and prompt. The beer selection is fabulous and the prices just can’t be beat! Whether you are here in the evening to unwind, or want to catch a game during Sunday Funday. This place always draws in that local crowd with smiles all around.

This bar had very affordable food and beer. Unfortunately I’ve never had their food here bit we’ll have to come another time when I’m feeling a little hungry. Other than that is a nice clean bar. Can get very noisy just like any bar you go to and they have outside swaying. Great place to go to before you start you’re night at exchange next door.

Really like this spot. Always an amazing beer selection. If you are a craft brewery type you should definitely head here. The cocktails are standard. They don’t do anything fancy here. Always able to get a seat which is nice. Staff is fine. They also have sandwiches which sound really good although I’ve never actually had one. Prices are great too. Nothing is too pricey! Usually my first stop when I’m going out downtown.

They have a selection of beer that’s very affordable $ 5, $ 6 and sandwiches with chips or potato salad for $ 9. The beer is good and affordable. I had the italiano sandwich. It was surprisingly good. I didn’t like the potato salad much so I’d get chips next time. Good location. Next to exchange LA. Would come again. They also have a happy hour menu. The menu is a small sign next to the bar.

Love love LOVE Spring Street Bar! The crowd is great(older than college, younger than townie — perfect for 20-somethings), the beers are plentiful and affordable, and there’s usually plenty of space. It’s not a huge bar, but there are big long tables inside as well as places to sit up against the open window and people-watch. My only real complaint is that it’s pretty dark in here, but that’s pretty typical for DTLA bars. Tip: If you’re out late, leave here before 2am and head across the street for Guisado’s tacos — you won’t regret it!

This place has a strong beer list and as far as I’ve experienced, really fast service. Their beer flight is a great deal! Usually, there’s about 30 rotating beers and while it’s tough to guarantee in a review that that specific beer will be there when you return, I’ve had multiple good ones here and really helpful bartenders. It can get a little crowded here and seating can be hard to come by. But for the longest time, I was in need of a really good downtown bar(after coming of age as a drinker at USC with bars like Casey’s and the Library Bar) and Spring Street has really helped me branch out. I’ve heard great things about their happy hour and I hope to return soon.

This spot was cool. The Pedro 2.0 was juicy and tasty. The selection of beer was okay, nothing extraordinary. I’d go back for a lunch, otherwise not much to see here. Clean restroom = thumbs up.

This place has the most amazing sandwiches you can get at a bar. For $ 9 you can get any kind of hot or cold sandwich along with a side salad or chips. I got the turkey and Sriracha sandwich and split it with a friend — we were full and definitely satisfied with the taste! I come here just for their sandwiches, as basic as it sounds. They also have a side of olives you can order which I’m personally not a fan of, but my friend was extremely excited for it.
