this is the worst subway only two people working and one of them in break with a line of 8 people

Visited this location recently on a non-rush hour time and day and man, sorry but it was just so average. The service, the staff, just everything about this place. Their were two people in line and it took me 30 minutes to get out of the establishment. The staff was very slow and even got one of the customers orders completely wrong with him right in front. It is located in a shopping center with plenty parking which is the only thing kind of going for it right now. Other than that it was a very average experience. The place was clean though and the sandwich making area also looked well kept so that was a good thing as well. Again, I went on a non busy hours and it still took a while to get out. I would try this place again only if I had to.

6:30 pm September 14, 2015: I just went to Subway at 9842 National Blvd, La Ca 90034 and they would not redeem my coupon on my phone!!! The two women that work there are two BIGDUMMIES! They claimed they’ve never seen Subway coupons on a phone. They even have an ad about their program on the ingredients windows RIGHTINFRONTOFTHEM! I joined a few days ago and decided to redeem my coupon that Subway texted me. You text«SOCALOFFERS» TO782929 and Subway texts you a coupon for a free 6 inch sub when you buy a 30 oz. drink. They called their manager but they said he wasn’t answering the phone. The two women said I had to bring a coupon from the papers and showed me coupons that you tear out from the free papers you get in the mail. These two women don’t even know about Subway’s text club. I’ve visited this store several times in the past and had terrible customer service. I thought after 2 years of not going there that it would be better now. WRONG! This is the WORSTSUBWAYEVER!!! These employees need better training in «people» skills, sandwich making skills and learning about current programs. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

The worst service I have ever experienced at a subway. These two girls working here are jerks. They just rushed everything and ended up giving me a sloppy sandwich. The worst part about it is how rude they were. OWNERBEWARE: This staff sucks. Change them.

If I could give this place a negative star, I would. They jipped my mother on the tuna in her tuna. She only got 2 scoops, but it should have been 3. When my mom questioned the lady about it, the lady got snarky and wanted to charge my mom another dollar! As for me, i ordered broccoli cheddar soup and when I tasted it, it tasted old and cold. I went to kindly ask for warm soup and even tried to swap it out for their vice noodle soup. I heard one girl ask the other if they should throw my soup out and give me a new one entirely and the other one snapped back no. She put it in the microwave, then put a glove on her hand, touched the microwave with that glove on, then put her finger in my soup with that germy glove on and handed it to me all disheveled and spily. I was mortified. I tried to complain about that disgusting act, but then the two ladies and the guy manager proceeded to ignore me entirely. I was too grossed out to drink my soup. I’m never going back there again!

You know what to expect at a SUBWAY, usually. This is a hit and miss location for me. Sometimes right on, sometimes just mehhhhh. Parking lot is good in Cheviot Hills shopping Center with VONS and RITEAID. Newer, cleaner restaurant. Just got to polish the employees a little, starting from the manager.

This Subway location is the frendliest Subway that I have ever encountered! It looks like their customer service was lacking several years ago from previous reviewers, but it has changed. Every time customers enter this Subway, they are greeted right away! The people that work there are super nice and this Subway is never crowded. FREE parking as it shares a parking lot with Vons.

UnilocalINSIDERTIPFROMDOREEN(AKAAZNPERSUASION): They now have a limited time only sriracha creamy sauce for your sandwiches, and a new annoying slogan they yell for every customer who comes in. **** It’s not the best sandwich in the world, but it’s nice to be able to customize it and the bread is fresh. Plus they have so many $ 5 or $ 6 sandwiches now. I come here a couple of times a year. To save calories, I don’t use mayo — only pepper jack cheese, mustard, and pepper and salt for my sandwiches. For whatever reason, I do like their tuna sandwiches a lot tho. I get that craving at least once a year. I always take it to go. This location is smaller, but has a huge parking lot in a strip mall.

Chain restaurants should always be decent cause they are designed to be consistant. This area looks to ahve been neglected for awhile but is taking the turnaround! The shopping center this Subway inhabits has been getting a nice overhaul of recent and even the Local VOn’s is nicer than it was. The reason they get 4 stars is because of how damn friendly these ladies are! And neer have I heard them great you welcome to subway east fresh everyday with 3 diff people taking a part… Cracks me up every-time! Don’t eat this much but might come here whenever I need a smile!

Was in there the other day and ordered Ham sandwich. Only 2 pieces of meat! All other Subway’s usually 4 pieces. Only good thing about it hardly anybody there for lunch. Guess I now know why.

Even by Subway’s modest standards, this particular one doesn’t do much for the brand. I’d rather go to Quiznos on Venice if I had to choose.

What is worse than watching someone who doesn’t want to be at work? Watching them make your food(without care). Living close enough to walk, we tend to eat here at least once a week. I think I will start driving to one of the other stores nearby after this last experience. It is no joke, you will enjoy your sandwich only if one of the two guys working at night make it. If you don’t win the employee lotto, RUN& do not look back. Go get a pizza next door. Seriously. The ingredients are usually fresh, though I’ve seen new lettuce stacked on top of old for night closing… that can’t be right? I’ve had them run out of bread before. Tonight I got a stale loaf, while my husband who ordered next got a nice fresh loaf. Hmm? Again, I missed the winning lotto there. Long story short most people working here do not think about the customer experience. They are in a daze, are thinking of things outside of work & barely listen to you while they slap on the ingredients. The focus should be on you once they start making your sandwich. It’s all about listening. They keep looking past me at the end of the line instead of me and the sandwich they are making. I get the same thing every time so I don’t take a long time to decide, it’s the same exact thing every time. However the two young guys at night are VERY good, friendly, & make a great sandwich so if you’re lucky game on! I think I’ll check out the one down the street, they seem a bit more«tuned in».

One of the worst subways I have been to. The customer service sucks if not mediocre. One Morning, unexpectedly I caught my barber getting into a argument about his sandwich being touched by the«sandwich artist» hands(no glove). The guy didn’t apologize and re-make his sandwich. In fact he lied about his store location and almost had a fist fight while pointing his knife at my barber. This place is not as sanitary as you think. Bread is kinda on the stale side and the place isn’t as on point because the owner or «franchaisee» doesn’t pop up as often.

Lured by the $ 2.50 coffee and sandwich deal, i’ve come here w/the gf quite a few times. A convenient and quick breakfast. It seems the staff changes quite regularly here. Never seem to get the same people. We usually come on a Sunday morning, and coffee is never ready. Not that we mind, its good to have fresh coffee. People behind the counter seemed less well trained. Sad to say, seems most don’t understand English well. So usually our order and details are repeated several times. Usually takes longer than you would expect. After a couple of tries with this place, think we will stick w/starbucks just two stores down ;-)

Depending on who makes your sammich, you’ll either have a really good or really ok experience at this Subway. If you get the gloomy, tall skinny guy with glasses, it will just be ok. If you get the happy, bigger guy who treats you like his homey while he’s making your sammiches, it’ll be great. I do like that the staff here works really hard to keep the restaurant clean. They’re always cleaning the tables and you rarely come in here to find a whole bunch of crap on the ground or one of the tables being a mess. Unlike a lot of the Subways in El Segundo or BH, this Subway actually has a whole lot of room inside so it’s easy to take a seat and eat. One of the big, big bummers about this Subway is that they often run out of avocados. I can’t remember what day it is, I want to say it’s Thursday when they are always out of avocados and spinach because they get deliveries once a week and always end up running out! Really sucks when the only thing I get is the Veggie Delite and that sandwich is miserable without avocados. But it’s clean, workers are generally nice outside of the gloomy tall guy, and it’s never super busy(but the parking lot still sucks) so it’s easy to get in and out of the actual restaurant if you can resist Papa John’s next door.
