The truck came to my place of residence for«Food Truck Wednesdays.» They had cookies, krispy treats, bars and cupcakes; good variety to choose from. I purchased a chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake and a snickerdoodle cookie! BAY-BAY both were FRESH and melt in your mouth GOOD!!! the cupcake was so moist and light. I am not really an icing girl, so I took some off. the icing amount is not overwhelming though. BUT that cookie gave me ALL the LIFE I needed TODAY! Thank you Cassandra for your recommendation! I love cinnamon and this cookie had just the right amount! Check them out to get your sweet tooth fix!

Best cookie dough cupcake I’ve had anywhere!!! And I’ve tried several cupcake wars winners. Love the Twix filled Cookie and the brownies are perfectly chewy. Cake is always moist and frosting perfectly creamy. We almost always come out to Food Truck Saturdays in SCV if the Sweet E’s truck is going to be there.

I got the chance to try out the Sweet E’s truck at Westchester’s First Friday’s. It is a must try! I went on a limb and tried the Red Velvet cupcake(not every bakery can pull off a good red velvet… believe me!) But to my surprise, Sweet E’s did a great job. They were so good that I bought 3 additional Red Velvet cupcakes.

My friend and I was having dinner at Narbonne high school, and we shared the M and M cookie. Now with any type of food, every person has their own preference. Based on the reviews, it seems the cookies here are much softer. In this case, it was very soft, to the point we felt it was undercooked. When we touch the cookie, it was still a little damp, and I thought it was maybe the cookie wasn’t cooled on the rack all the way. My friend took a bite and said it was still gooey, and he prefers his cookie fully cooked. After skimming the other Unilocal reviews, I realized that the quality here is inconsistent. One person said that the cookie was hard as a rock, while another person praised it for being soft and chewy. I’m giving this place three stars, as it was just okay. If I see the truck here again, I may stop to get another cookie, but may pass it up to try another dessert truck.

Wow, I read some of the reviews and they weren’t very good at all. So here’s mine. ITWASDELICIOUSSSSSSS!!! OMG!!! I would’ve took picture but the product was gone before my brain allowed me to think of anything besides the YUMMYGOODNESSINMYMOUTH!!! My husband and I went to the Woodland Hill Crafts Fair and there she was that Pink little truck with a whole lot of goodness in it. We got a variety of things…, 1. Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownie — UMMMAMAAAZZING!!! 2. Oreo stuffed in a Chocolate Chip Cookie — Same as ABOVE! 3. Peanut Butter Bliss — EVENBETTERTHANABOVE!!! WOW, I am a savory kinda gal, but these specific menu items really took over my taste buds in a heavenly way. TRY it… let me know how it works out for ya.

Was excited to try this truck at First Friday. My sis and I were in the mood for a chewy cookie, so we specifically asked the truck lady if it was chewy or crunchy. She replied with chewy. So we got 2 cookies and a cake pop. The cookies were so hard. It was disappointing. Mostly bc we specifically asked before hand. Will definitely walk right by this truck next time. The cake pop tasted weird too.

This is now a little shop next to Toast bakery. It was so cute, and everyone was so welcoming.

In general, I’ve always been a big fan of Sweet E’s Bake Shop, but what I experienced today simply is unacceptable for a bakery even if its their mobile version. One of my favorite items on their menu and probably the only item on their menu that I enjoy is their stuffed cookies. However, today they felt undercooked almost cookie dough like. That in itself, while not to my liking is fine. Whatever floats your boat, but to bite down into the cookie and get a mouth full of wrapper baked inside a cookie, that is simply unacceptable. One has to wonder how that could have gotten past any of the bakers. Where was quality control? It’s sad, but that just ruined my experience of this truck.

If I could leave a negative amount of stars I would. This truck was at my local food truck lot and I must say they have the WORST rice crispy treats & whoopie pies. Both items were hard, stale & disgusting!!! I wish I tried the items before I made it home because I would have returned them. Bad night? maybe? I just know I will never try them again & I hope they stay away from my local food truck lot!!!

Sweet E’s was at Chatsworth Din Din A Go Go. I had never heard of them but was excited to see a sweets truck. They had lots of great looking sweets. I liked that everything was mini, so we could try more. We chose a pumpkin whoopie pie, red velvet cupcake, fluffernutter cupcake and a mint chip cupcake. The whoopie pie was the best. The cupcakes were just ok. Not terrible but nothing special either. Prices were average. The man who helped us was nice, no customer service issues here. They have vegan options which I think is great. Overall the whole experience was just average. I would try again for other items but would steer away from the cupcakes.

This truck wasn’t getting much love because it was located on a side street during the busy First Friday of January. Still we wanted to break up our recent run on savory with a bit of sweet. The display window was filled with many tasty looking treats so we decided to try a couple of cupcake bites. The tiny cupcakes had excellent flavors and were decorated very nicely. The disappointment set in when I realized how dry the cupcakes were. The cake itself was crumbly and barren of any moisture. Surprisingly as well was that the frosting was also dry and crunchy. Honestly the dryness of the cupcakes made me feel like I purchased a dessert from a grocery store that was on sale for quick clearance. I think the potential of the cupcakes were there especially when they are fresh but from my experience they were stale and disappointing. Next time I’m near the Sweet E’s truck I’ll more than likely keep walking :/

This was my fourth food truck visit last Saturday and my third at the Eat See Hear event. Now this truck I have been to before. I am always looking for something sweet after a meal and when I’m at a food truck event I’m on the lookout for a dessert truck, it used to difficult to find desert trucks, sometimes you couldn’t find them at all, they are a little more common now which makes my tummy happy! On past visits to Sweet E’s I have had the chocolate covered Oreo’s, a couple of their cupcakes, and a frosting cone, all of those were yummy so I came back today and tried their Cupcake Push-Pop. If you don’t know what that is it is just like the Push-Up Ice Creams we used to eat when we were kids but instead of a paper tube it’s a clear plastic tube and instead of ice cream it’s layers of cake and frosting. I will post a photo of the Push-Pop along with some of the other items I have tried. I liked it, what’s not to like? My nephew had one and liked it too, they come in different flavor combinations too. Not my first visit and I’m sure it won’t be my last one either!

Came back again on first Fridays and got red velvet, chocolate chip cookie dough, oreo, peach and pumpkin spice. Like the last time, these cupcakes did not disappoint :)

Well, hello there Sweet E’s! That is a fine looking piece of mini chocolatey goodness there. You taste really good in my mouth. No wonder you’re called Chocolate Lover ;D …oh, my mistake. They’re called Chocolate Lover’s! As in, if you love chocolate, get the Chocolate Lover’s Vegan Cupcakes! Yes, I love me some chocolate cupcakes :)

Encountered Sweet E’s during a food truck event and thought I would grab a couple for a friend who did not attend the event as a cheer up treat. Sweet E’s display of mini cupcakes on their truck had captured my attention like a moth to a flame. I got the orange cream-sicle, blue velvet, and the strawberry chocolate and was on my way to seeing my buddy. Little did I know that the moth to a flame feeling resonates not only in me but also in a homeless guy. I exited the freeway to find a homeless guy walking up and down the exit asking for money but as soon as he walked up to my car he started pointing at something. At this point I am dumbfounded and trying to figure WTF he wanted and than he points to the cupcakes and than to his mouth. Ah catch 22 how I hate you. Literally I’m thinking give him the cupcakes and I’m out 6 bucks and treats for my buddy or don’t make any eye contact and maybe he will leave and than I feel like a dick. Either way I’m screwed. The sad thing is that I couldn’t even give him any cash because I spent the last of my money on these damn cupcakes. At this point I just pray that the light turns green so I can go, someone must have heard my prayer because the light turned green and I bolted. I got to my friends house and felt horrible about not surrendering my cupcakes to someone who was less fortunate but man these little suckers are a bit pricey at two bucks a pop. I ended up trying each one of the cupcakes and they were pretty good. All of them were moist, airy, and had good flavor. Sharing these cupcakes did ease my guilty feeling so I guess that’s a good thing.

I’m not a big cupcake fan, but I wanted to get GMIT some dessert. She chose a Blue Velvet cupcake and a Chocolate Espresso cupcake. I got a milk chocolate pretzel, dark chocolate pretzel, and a vegan chocolate cupcake. The pretzels were tasty enough. GMIT devoured her cupcakes, so I didn’t get to taste them. She ate the last Blue Velvet, so I didn’t get to try it. Argh. But when I sank my teeth into the Vegan Chocolate, and my tongue got a taste of what I’d gotten myself into, I found myself deeply in love. With a cupcake. A tiny cupcake. It was rich chocolate bliss. It was a tango with a chocolately sensual stranger who you hope you’ll see again, and again. When the truck popped by again, I tried the double chocolate cookie, and the chocolate chip brownie. Those were very good. But my taste buds were still tensed up and waiting for that Vegan Chocolate. Which made me very happy once more as I savored it. I would definitely visit this truck again.

I’m not a huge fan of cupcakes. I like them okay, I guess. Every cupcake place I’ve gone to has, for the most part, been a disappointment. But I keep searching for the Holy Grail of cupcakes, a cupcake that is moist and flavorful with frosting that makes me quiver with delight. I had to work late tonight but when I was finished I went across the street to a parking lot where several food trucks were having a rally. I spotted Sweet E’s and began to hyperventilate — I had read about their unique cupcake flavors. I speed-walked to the truck. They only had 4 cupcake flavors left plus a couple other items; not much left as they had already been there for two hours. There were only two people in front of me and, when the person in front of me got to the window, my heart sank as she purchased the last cupcakes in 2 of the remaining flavors. I had no choices left. Only two flavors remained so I got one of each of those plus a chocolate covered pretzel(love that salty-sweet combo!). Creamy Chocolate and Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough are what I got. They were cute and decorated nicely. The frosting on both were wonderful, especially the one with a rich vanilla frosting with a glob of cookie dough on top. The cake on both were okay but, unfortunately, dry. So my search for the perfect cupcake will continue. But I will definitely try this truck again and hope to enjoy more flavors next time. 3.5 but I round up.

Saw the truck so decided to drop by for dessert after lunch and ordered a Chocolate Chip Cookie($ 1.25). Through the glass, it looked like a good cookie because it was decent sized and really thick. When it entered my mouth was a different story… Instant reaction.**disappointed face** WHAT is this!!! First off, this cookie was not moist at all. It wasn’t chewy and at the same time it wasn’t hard. It was in between.a.k.a CRUMBLY. It almost seemed stale like it was last night’s batch from their store, packed onto the truck to sell off. Sweet(i)E.please step your cookie-baking game up, because I can make a better cookie.& I’ll sell it for cheaper!

Pretty good cupcakes at a quick stop truck. I had the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake, red velvet cupcake, pink lemonade cupcake, and a black & white cupcake. All of them were delicious — my favorite was the chocolate chip cookie dough. The frosting tasted just like cookie dough and the chunks of chocolate in the frosting and the cake itself was so satisfying. Red velvet was good, though not the best I’ve had. Girl working the truck was friendly. –1 star for charging $ 2.00 for a teeny tiny cupcake no matter how good it tastes.

While I was waiting for my food from another truck to come out, I decided to hit this truck. There were 3 people waiting in line and I thought«well, it can’t take that long, everything is already made and in the window… how long can it take?» Well, much longer than I expected. I guess the people in front of me were ordering a bunch of stuff? IDK. Anyway, I finally get up to the window to order a chocolate chip cookie dough cake pop. It was nicely packaged in a clear wrapper and secured with a bow. It was $ 3. As for the cake pop, it was ok. Didn’t satisfy my sweet tooth unfortunately. And for $ 3, kind of expensive for what it was. I can get a $ 3 cupcake from SusieCakes – you know what I’m saying. I’ll pass next time.
