BOMB food. We’ve eaten a bunch of different stuff from there: pad thai, satay, orange chicken, garlic chicken, wonton soup, green curry soup, salads etc. All awesome. Friendly delivery people. Fast and cheap. Definitely a win. I’m only giving four stars because I haven’t eaten at the actual restaurant, I’ve only had it delivered.

This is a very good hole-in-the-wall restaurant. All main courses give you a choice of chicken, beef, pork, or tofu. They have a good selection of both Thai and Chinese meals, and most of them are very good. So I’ll start with what’s not. Their Kung Pao is never spicy enough for my taste. But when I want spicy, their prig-king curry dish, with green beans, is very good. It’s one of several curry dishes. They also have a good sizzling plate, with spinach and peanut sauce. I also like their four fried rice plates(plain, spicy, combination, or pineapple), and I like their pad Thai. It’s a good place to go if I want a good meal but don’t feel like spending a lot of money.

Ordered delivery and we are awfully disappointed. The quality of the chicken in the soup is suspect. Tom Yum not very flavorful and not many veggies in the soup. Pineapple fried rice is usually one of the best dishes at Thai restaurants, but not here. Bland and terrible.

They are my closest, not scary looking Thai restaurant, so they’re stuck with me, and I’m stuck with them, which is alright. The food is good. I only take out, haven’t dined in, but it seems nice.

This Thai joint is an average spot and caters to the locals. The food is decent and staff is nice, it’s a place to grab a quick bite and head out. The take out can take a while even if you call in and delivery is a plus. The bathroom is dirty!

The overall set up looks like a normal walk in Thai Place, didn’t really like that one of the tables was covered with messy Magazines, other than that the place was orderly and people were enjoying the last of their dinner bites. I came in particularly for the Tom Yum Soup. Amazing price and beautiful display. Definitely coming back to try other dishes. Oh! I would like a better set up with the Tea. I’m a huge tea drinker so it’s nice to see what way it’s served at different places. This was literally a hot tea pot with a tea bag in it.. It was good still just being boojie…

This place never fails, delivery is always fast and fresh. It’s always hard to try new dishes because that then become my new go-to item. The orange chicken is some of the best out there! Definitely try this place, have them deliver it, usually takes about 30⁄45 minutes to arrive.

Let me start off by saying the service SUCKS they are so rude. The lady in the front was the rudest I didn’t eat there because I felt uncomfortable after a while not to mention that they had a B rating. Never coming back

Place gave me the runs. Ordered garlic chicken with noodle lunch special. Service was fine and food tasted fine. Not coming back, though.

The husband loves the bbq Thai chicken, the kids love the pad Thai, and my favorite is the glass noodle salad. We’ve tried several other Thai eateries around the area and have found this one to be our go to place for take out. Other favorites are the tom yum seafood soup, pad see ew and the lard nar.

*I’ve not eaten at the actual restaurant only takeout and delivery* Pretty good if you don’t want to cook and don’t want to leave the house for delivery but that’s about it. They’re pretty quick too which is nice.

First off, I read the other Unilocal reviews and decided to visit the actual restaurant to try the food. I had the Wonton Soup and Thai Ice tea. Food: The soup was good, I do see what other Unilocalers mean by gray chicken but the taste of the chicken was fine. The soup overall was a good size especially for 1 – 2 people. The Thai Ice tea was a little watered down for my taste. Staff: Everyone is very friendly here. No problems :) Atmosphere: The décor is cute. However the floors have weird scuff marks that make you feel as though the place maybe dirty. Cleanliness: This is where the place earns 3 stars, maybe even 2. In the back of the restaurant on top of a dining table, an owner, or his wife was changing her baby’s diaper. First this is not does not create an appetizing environment. Second, it is a health issue especially because she did not wipe off the table or disinfect. Bathrooms are gross. There’s a tiny stall that reeked. There are rust stains, nails, and dirt all over the floors. This needs attention badly. Overall food is fine but I might just get take out next time.

A definite neighborhood favorite in our house. If you are a fan of spicy Thai this is your place. Do not let the small statute of the place fool you, they make a mean Tom Yum Seafood soup. This place is always busy, especially on rainy days so if you call for delivery and they give you an estimate of 45 minutes to an hour do not be surprised. Sometimes you can get a waitress on the phone that seems less than pleasant, but should not be mistaken as rudeness more than they need to get your order quickly because of a rush. It’s a cultural thing I am sure. I have had so many items off their menu and they have all been superb. They make their food more spicier than most places so if you need it dulled down, do tell the chef. I always tell them extra spicy and they do not skimp. I love that this place serves traditional thai with Chinese and has a flare of its own. They have a wide variety of vegetarian dishes but since I am a carnivore have not had any of these. Their notable dishes are the orange chicken which is lightly battered and does not taste greasy, like most places, and only marginally sweetened and does not overpower the chicken. Do not pass up on the chow mein here. The noodles are never overcooked, greasy, or ridden with soy sauce. Generally, I try not to order noodles, but they seem to do a pretty healthy alternative to chow mein than other places. My favorites here are the soups. So delicious and healthy with large portions of seafood and extra-large shrimp. If you are not in for the soup they also have a spicy seafood dish, and yes, it is not for the faint of heart most people would need something to dull down the chili. This is your place on a rainy day for deliveries of good food that always arrives smoking hot and delicious. Tip your delivery guy because believe me he is busy.

In an area where Thai food is nonexistent, this is a welcome sight! But as far as Thai food goes, it’s simply ok. It satisfies, but does not«wow» you. The service is also decent, not stand out. It’s clean and quaint. I went during off hours around 3PM on a Saturday and I was the only guest there, as I waited for my take out. I would come back in a pinch and am thankful Thai Fantasy is there.

This little neighborhood gem is awesome every time we come(and that’s fairly often). It’s not fancy or frilly, you get a good solid meal for a decent price. Service runs well, except on Saturdays when the regular lady is not on duty. Ashamed to admit I don’t know her name, but she always remembers my preferences and delivers food with a smile. Our favorites: Spicy Noodle with tofu(aka Drunken noodle) Tom Kah Shrimp Soup Sizzling spinach and peanut sauce with pork I’d give an extra ½ star if I could but honestly, as much as I wish them success, I’m kind of selfish and don’t want to share with everyone in the area, lol. We have 3 Thai places within several blocks of home but we come here ‘cuz it’s worth it.

Anne This place is a place you’ll be driving to look for something different in the neighborhood. The foods good, if you know what to order and if your looking for some spices their are dishes like those in their livelihoods. The price is reasonable. Only those may come back…

Food is fine. Chicken Satay 4 **** peanut sauce 5*****, spicy noodles 4*****, Tom Yum soup 4****, red curry 2**. One positive about the curry was that for $ 5 we ordered it with fish. That was a nice option. But the curry wasn’t very good tasted just had an interesting taste to it. I have come across this side flavor in a few other restaurants too, I can’t put the handle on it though… Spicy eggplant in brown sauce 4****. Overall I may go back since the options in Highland Park are limited but it did not blow my mind. Waitress was nice and accommodating. Interior looks quite updated and clean. The door to the kitchen/bathroom was dirty and It makes me wonder what else is dirty. To the management: I suggest a fresh coat of red paint for the door… it can do wonders, won’t cost you more than $ 25.

Ordered delivery through Seamless and the restaurant emailed a confirmation back with a 45 – 60 min delivery time. After an hour and 15 min passed I called the restaurant and got a busy tone, I continued to call every 5 min for another 30 min and continued to get the busy tone. One hour and 45 min later I ordered from another restaurant that I know has good service, and of course 5 min later the delivery guy comes from Fantasy. I told him that we don’t want the food, it has been almost 2 hours since we ordered and I want my money back, he said call seamless and left. Wow.
