The Lash Fairy

Deborah is the definitive lash master. I love that her extensions last 6 – 8 weeks (!) this is because the brand she uses (Xtreme Lashes) is very high quality… combined with her application technique; both make her extensions outlast all the others. She also takes extra steps and gives you special a sheet with instructions to make your extensions last.
Not only did I get well-​applied very natural looking lashes from Deborah, I got an education about Lash health. Deb’s main concern is preserving your natural lashes and multiplying their growth… she cautions that very long (or fat) extensions can cause permanent Lash loss over time. (yikes)
She informed me that conservative length/​thickness
extensions (provided each one is fan dried after placement) are actually healthier for lashes than mascara because mascara is heavier than an extension in the lash. The weight of mascara «plucks» out the lash prematurely which causes thinning (like what brow plucking does over time). Apparently lashes are very delicate. Mascara makes lashes stick together… this she says also causes lash loss.
I’m an RN… I’ve been putting off getting lash extensions because I didn’t trust who might be doing them, but Deborah used to be a PA in cardiac surgery… this gave me the peace of mind I needed; I know how meticulous she has been trained to be.

Deborah is (and will remain) my go-​to for lash extensions. She’s incredibly meticulous, the ultimate professional and a pleasure to be around. Over the years, I’ve tried many other lash extension services, looking for someone as consistent and knowledgable as Deborah. Her extensions are the most natural looking and last the longest (generally 4 weeks). She uses the best supplies and caters specifically to what each client needs. After three years of getting lashes, I have never had an experience were my lashes didn’t last over a week. I made an appointment with Deborah based on the Unilocal reviews as I recently moved to LA and was looking for my new lash girl. Unfortunately it did not work out for me. Deborah was very sweet and kind and booked my appointment very quickly. I expected to meet at a salon or room but it was actually done in her living room at her place. I don’t care where they do my lashes as long as they do a great job, but for what I paid it was totally not worth it. I walked out unhappy with my lash fill and called back to see if she could add more the following day and she did. I really wanted to make Deborah my new lash girl but it just could not happen. My lashes fell out within the week, after she said her lashes last about 4 weeks. This was the first time ever in 3 years of getting my lashes done, that they fell out so fast. Sadly I wasted my time and $ 80 down the drain.

The first time I used Lash Fairy was for a red carpet event for my film screening and now I get Deborah to do my lashes regularly, she is amazing and it is soooo much better than using Mascara every day. She is a true professional and really knows her stuff. I was worried that my lashes might get damaged but since going to her my own lashes have grown and I have more than when I started with her. I also do Bikram Yoga and just got back from a trip to Australia and Bali where I was swimming every day and surf lessons in the rough ocean. Deborah did my lashes before I left. I was in the ocean swimming and
surfing almost every day my extensions held up extremely well. Many were still on by the time I got to see her again six weeks later. I love how natural they look too. I am so happy I found Deborah and she is so passionate about what she does. Thanks Deborah

Thank God I found Deborah who explained my natural lashes had become so thin because of extensions that were too long and too thick. This adds too much weight to the natural lash and pulls them out prematurely. They either don’t grow back, or if they do they are much thinner. I had no idea this could (permanently) damage my lashes! Now– after only a few months of going to Deborah my natural lashes are getting thicker and fuller (back to normal).
My extensions by Deborah look really natural and she has given me more of the cat eye look I had been trying to achieve with my prior stylists.

OMG I LOVE my lashes! Deborah did an excellent job. What a difference… my eyes look aMAZing. Deb is an artist. This former PA in cardiac surgery, (putting her skill level way up there) is also excellent at applying extensions that match your desired look, eye shape, etc. They also look VERY natural. And it’s Deborah’s technique that ensures you will never experience any lash loss/​thinning or damage when she’s the one doing your lashes. I get compliments DAILY!!!

I was introduced to Deborah Sharpe through a mutual friend, as I had complimented her on her beautiful lashes. I told her how lucky she was to have such long lashes. She informed me, with a laugh, that they were the best that money could buy. I honestly thought they were her own, they look so natural and not like I have seen on some women, where you can obviously tell they are fake. So I went to see Deb, as my lashes though prolific are meh! and I didn’t like the idea of putting any chemical product on them to encourage them to grow.
I arrived at Debs place and she was so friendly I felt very at ease right away. She offered me water, and wanted to know what music I’d like to listen to. She told me about her background, how she applies the lashes in a certain way, and that she only will attach lashes that will not be took long that they will affect my natural lashes. She was very meticulous in applying the lashes. When she handed me a mirror, so I could see what she had been doing, I was astonished. They looked fantastic and glamorous, but not over the top, just as I’d asked her.
I have been to her twice now, and going back again. Her rates are really competitive, and great value considering how long my lashes lasted. She gives you an information sheet to help you with after care, which was great to have.
Her location is easy to get to, there is street parking in the neighborhood, and she also has an extra garage space if parking is tricky.
I’m very happy with this Lash Fairy! I now get compliments too.

I am giving 4 stars to the Lash Fairy for her amazing customer service and her integrity as a business woman. I got my lashes done after my concerns that I didn’t have enough lashes for the extensions to make a huge difference was addressed. Deborah did the best she could for what she had to work with and the application took 2 hrs! I didn’t like the results and Deborah offered to remove them for a full refund. I’m sure this was an exception but it was really important to Deborah that I was happy! I am now applying Latisse on my lashes and know that if you want a full set to look good like in the pictures, you have to have full lashes and the lash extensions can make it look longer but it won’t make it fuller.

Deborah Sharpe’s background in cardiac surgery put my worries about damaging my lashes to rest. Her surgical training sets her well apart from every other lash technician out there. She is gentle and creates and calm and relaxing environment during application. I HIGHLY recommend Deborah Sharpe! She is indeed, «The Lash Fairy».

I’ve had lashes done by a few people in So Cal and also in Korea as well and so far Deborah is the best technician in CA! She really works with you to match your preferences and puts a lot of artistic effort into your eyelashes, ladies its not as easy as it looks! Her lashes bond well and stay on despite my ‘play hard’ lifestyle! And at $ 150 she is affordable compared to many other technicians.

Deborah is AMAZING! She is super and my lashes always look beautiful and natural. She is fast and is extremely precise! I am SO happy to have met her. I am completely addicted. They stay on long and I get compliments on my lashes all the time. She is not only a sheer professional but such a nice person! It is always fun seeing her. My lashes are in great hands with Deborah and so will yours. I am a LASH ADDICT and Deborah is simply wonderful.
