The Piccadilly Apartment

Let‘s just say that you get what you pay for here. Although the manager seemed nice at first, she felt the need to scold me out of the blue. Her words were inappropriate and completely unprofessional. She complained that my husband and I never answer her texts when she holds our packages for us. I felt like I was talking to my own scolding mother. She said, «I have had it with you and your husband! I am fed up.» I told her that I am a full-​time student, and that my husband works until midnight every night, all of which are true. That is why I usually get her texts later during the evening when I am home to pick our packages up. She would not listen, and kept complaining when she is the one who offers to hold packages for tenants in the first place. After I realized she would not listen to me, I walked away. There is no need to explain myself. Neither my husband nor I have anything to apologize for. Should I apologize for being a hard-​working citizen who is rarely home? Is it my duty to stay home all day so I can respond to each and every one of her texts ASAP? No. Is it in her best inerests to act in a professional manner? Yes. If she wants our business that is, but I guess she does not. I do not feel welcome here.

I gave the piccadily an extra star to re-​emphasize how amazing the Super, Claudia is. I’ve had some issues with my radiator in my apartment and she has been amazingly helpful. In general, maintenance is so easy here!

OK so I stayed here this past summer! Worse Experience in LIFE!!! First of all top Management tried to pull a fast one on a short stay lease, trying to extend the lease an additional month to get more money! Neighbors were extremely nasty and noisy! For two months everyday that I came home I had to spray their door because of all of the roaches coming from inside their apartment! It was as if they were trying to escape because it was too dirty for even them! Exterminators can only spray up to 5 apartments per monthly visit! Trust me this will not get rid of the roaches!!!
Good side to the building was that the actual manager of the building was very helpful and their is security in the lobby after hours! However, if you don’t get to back to the apartments before 2am, security is gone and your essentially left on your own.
The elevators and ambiance of the building are in turmoil! While they attempt to give you the impression of an early 19^th century rehab building… its just old and worn down! Think a million times before deciding that you want to stay here! Paying a little more in rent may just be the key to your sanity!
