Great staff, good drinks, food is amazing from next door — highly recommend. Honestly, my Girlfriend and I went here at the end of the night and it was the last on our list of Bar hopping spots to go to… and glad we made it! There was funky videos playing on the big wall, trendy but engaging music you could move your body too, and staff that was attentive and kept our drinks full. Small venue, but don’t let the small size fool you — this bar rocks and is on it’s A GAME. –Jer

This was my first time going there and wow their drinks were very GOOD! I had a great blast with my friends! To be honest I think I had one to many drinks because I don’t even know how I got home and when I looked at some of the pictures my friends posted on Facebook I didn’t remember ha!

Just left the Powder Room and honestly my friends and I had a great time! I had found this place on Unilocal and I was excited to try a cocktail that I had seen in previous reviews. When the bartender came over to us, he admitted that it was his first night on the job and he wasn’t familiar with that cocktail but he did know how to make plenty of other cocktails. And so we gave him the benefit of the doubt and my friend and I ordered the raspberry mojito & the watermelon martinis and they were GREAT! It is pretty pricey but it is a cool little bar. Make no mistake, when I say little I mean little. But they have some board game favorites and Jenga, they have a bar and some tables, they have absolutely great cocktails and really attentive and personable staff so we will be back! The prices were a bit too much compared to the other bars on their block(I know this because my friends and I bar-hopped that night. We paid $ 40 for 5 drinks at Velvet Margarita next door and $ 44 for 3 drinks at the Powder Room) so minus one star for those prices.

The attention to detail in preparing cocktails at the powder room is truly impressive. Some of the best tasting cocktails I’ve had were from the powder room. Bartenders really know what they are doing. Definitely give this place a try.

We ended up at this place as we wanted a late night cocktail to wind down for the night. Friendly and classy bartenders as well as great drinks. When we were there, I’d say most all of the patrons were couples just like we were. It was overall a chill place and relaxing. Not loud either as the music was at a level where you can have a conversation and not have to practically yell. We would love to come back one day, try out their specialty drinks and grab a bite to eat next door.

I come to this place after work for happy hour because in short, it seems like a great place to bring a date. They have interesting expensive drinks that girls like and in fact there were many more girls there when we were there than guys. The place isn’t really crowded, but that’s what I love about it.

Amazing place with superb staff… i had to do a same day venue change for an event I was hosting and they were so accommodating for us. Sean made some awesome unique cocktails and was very responsive. Jael is adorable and so sweet and helpful. Highly recommend this spot for a fun cool ambiance where you can still have conversations because it’s not too loud

Trendy little drinking hole to wet your whistle. The atmosphere is colorful and vibrant with upbeat bartenders. This is not my environment but I felt comfortable being there. The drinks are pricey but you’re in Hollywood on a main strip, so of course you knuckle head! The bar is attached to another bar, I forgot the name or if it’s one big establishment with just separate rooms. The main area had food and such, which I have yet to try, and then leads to a smaller back bar which was not crowded at all and more rustic looking, my type of style. The main bar The Powder Room is off to the left when you enter through the main entrance, and walk past the immediate bar. They had a unique drink menu which I must say was pretty good. Parking is nonexistent, you’re in Hollywood, find a lot or garage! When in the area, check this spot out.

My new favorite bar. The service here is excellent. I have never been to a bar where the bartenders are so cool and attentive. Shawn makes a DELICIOUS Old-Fashioned that’ll absolutely tickle your brain. You can’t slurp this one down, and you won’t want to.

Stopped in on a late Friday night and am so glad I tried it out! Bartender was amazing, suggested to get a pink elephant and it was seriously one of the best drinks I’ve had. I loved the music and the videos playing on the TV. The lighting was beautiful. Seating available at the bar and tables along the walls. Definitely a place I’d like to come again.

I was here on NYE and I’m so happy I came! Location: The Powder Room is located on Cahuenga Blvd in between Hollywood Blvd and Selma. It really is an amazing location for a restaurant/lounge/bar because there are so many other venues literally walking distance that you can bar hop without ever having to call for a cab/Über. Parking: I’m really lucky when it comes to street parking. I always manage to find parking on the street 30 seconds away from the venue. If that’s not your case don’t worry about it! There is plenty of street parking that line Selma, Hollywood Blvd and other adjacent streets. Warning though… there is no parking allowed on Cahuenga from 8pm– 3am which SUCKS. There is also plenty of lot parking spots littered all over the place. Prices usually are $ 10 flat rate. The Powder Room: What I love about the Powder Room is the décor. It’s a very small bar/lounge that isn’t made to handle hordes of people but that’s part of it’s appeal for me. The lighting is very Miami Vice ish… with the blue and pink neon lighting on the backsplash of the bar. I love the eclectic mix of mirrors that adorn the opposite side of the wall… so chaotic and yet they all go together. For most of the night granted I stuck with champagne so I’m unable to tell you all about the Powder Room’s famed spiked milkshakes but I can tell you about their delicious food! I ended up having the slides 2x of the Seared Ahi which was amazing and 1 of the Veggie Slider. I devoured it so quickly that I completely forgot I should of taken a picture until I was finished eating. I along with my friend shared a large basket of Sweet Potato Fries and I have never in my life eaten fries the way I did that night. It was just the right amount of sweet with the chipotle mayo dipping sauce and ketchup?! Say NOMORE. Our bartender was Jay and she was hands down one of the best bartenders I have ever encountered here in LA. If you do come you should definitely hope she will wait on you because she is amazing. I definitely recommend you visit the Powder Room! 1 out of 100(Yellp 2015 Challenge)

A cozy, intimate and inherently hip bar adjacent to Saint Felix, the Powder Room is the type of place you’d love to stumble into with a small group of close friends. The pink sheen and endless loop of 60’s/70’s/80’s b-videos lends an atmosphere of romantic fun, while not pouring on schmaltz. It’s tiny — maybe capacity of 35? — and features a wrap-around bar as well as a cute booth area with two-top circular tables. The drinks are mixologist-created and are hit and miss, but they don’t shy on the alcohol and serve each beverage with a smile. I really had a good time at the Powder Room and were it not in Hollywood, would consider it one of the best bars in all of Los Angeles.

Just stopped by for a quick drink before dinner and the 7 – 10 pm HH was a most pleasant surprise. While the gin-based cocktail was refreshing, there wasn’t much of the spirit that I could discern — def worth the HH price, but would’ve underwhelmed if I had to pay the $ 13. Curiously, the bartender looked perplexed when i asked for the drink served up, so I’m gonna guess that wasn’t Luke. Decent HH spot and cool décor, but not sure if I’d be willing to take the chance to try a cocktail at regular price.

Awesome find in Hollywood. After grabbing a bite to eat next door at St. Felix we were looking for the next stop to grab a few cocktails and boom there was The Powder Room it took me a minute to realize that the bar is actually attached to St. Felix and they share restrooms. The drink menu is really unique and has a combination of tasty craft cocktails and even spiked milkshakes. The bartender was very friendly and the ambiance was great. Great mixology skills at the bar, I even saw a fancy cocktail on the menu that was priced at $ 500 whoa I’d like to try that. There are probably ten or twelve bar seats and a few tables to grab a seat at. I like the old movie clips that they screen through a projector on the wall. Not a great place for a crowd but and awesome place to grab a drink with a few friends. Nice addition to the Hollywood bar scene.

This bar is the real deal. They aren’t fooling around with their signature cocktails which are meticulously made with the best ingredients by their experienced bartender. It’s nice to come to a bar in Hollywood that serves some seriously good drinks. I started with their Winchester, a Buffalo Trace Whiskey, Amaro Nonino liquor and spiced chocolate bitters. It was a strong but complex and well balanced drink And I had their One Night cocktail with rye whiskey, thai chili honey, cherry syrup, egg whites and lime juice. It was creamy, velvety, sweet/sour and complex. Awesome. Go check them out and have yourself a classy cocktail.
