Trailer Park Burger — $ 6 — Specially seasoned 100% Angus beef with American cheese, fried onion strings, baby arugula and housemade SECRETSAUCE $ 1 extra for bacon(which were bacon bits) I was hungry so this burger did the job for me but I was still left a little hungry afterwards. So $ 7 is a tough selling point for burgers… you can go for value over quality e.g. Carl’s Jr, you can go higher quality like pono burger or umami… what you get with trailer park burger is enough quality to warrant $ 7 but people including me will complain you compromise on the quantity. For $ 7 my money is on Smashburger but if there isn’t one nearby, this one won’t do you wrong.

Damn, customer service AND awesome truck food?! Who could ask for more? I know it seems pretty simple, but those Shotgun Shells N Cheese were bomb. $ 4 + 1 for Bacon(you can add Bacon to anything here, and that should be everywhere in life), they’re only macaroni shells, cheese, and bread crumbs, but they’re great. My friend had gotten the Mac N Cheese Melt, which is the same thing on bread. At the Granada Hills Food Trucks, aka Granada Grubfest, you could almost walk right by them! Luckily yesterday, we planned on looking at all the trucks. I vote for a real lawn flamingo to be on top of this thing! They also take credit card.

Dang, I might have a little trailer park in my blood line after all. Tried to avoid the truck… and not even look at it. But, as I got closer to it, it felt very natural, and a little like home. A small, 8 item menu( ), with another couple of daily specials. Cute setup, a rolled out green turf, plastic flamingos, and several pink chairs to sit on while you wait( ). Menu: chicken & waffles, a few burgers, a fried chicken wrap, mac & cheese, grilled cheese, frito pie, and onion rings. Basically, any combo of cheese and grease. Prices vary between $ 7 – 9 for burgers, $ 8 for the chicken and waffles, and $ 4 – 7 for the rest. Extremely nice and fun guys working the truck. Inquiring about the burger types, I took’em up on the recommendations: MACKIN’ CHEESEBURGER($ 8), with gooey mac ‘n cheese, applewood smoked bacon crumbles, fried onion strings, baby arugula and housemade SECRETSAUCE. Zowie. I loved the flavor, the texture, and the crunch — but, even though the bun fits the theme, all white bun and fresh… it wasn’t delicious, and certainly couldn’t compare to a nice and fancy brioche. No fries are served, or I would have been tempted. They have onion rings, and no… I didn’t. However, a Diet Coke goes well with my obsession of the day, and this my friends, is burger-worthy. 2nd visit(2÷21÷13): Fried Chicken & Waffle: 2 pieces of white meat chicken(each piece is 2x a Chicken McNugget), that has a fried maple glaze(I’d pay to smell it), with a fresh thin waffle — acting as a wrap. Quite worthy! The rest of the day, I had water.
